Pros: "New plane, nice crew, good entertainment, good food."
Cons: "The flight was delayed by 4 1/2 hours and it was handled horribly. First, I had to wait at check-in for 1 hour despite having checked in online. Next, we were told hourly-wise to check-in at the gate to find out when our flight would leave. This was a hassle and caused me a lot of stress since I had to make new plans with a new itinerary for my arrival in Chile where I was supposed to meet my elderly parents. The staff kept telling me they didn't know when we'd leave asking me to check back four times before they were able to give me a definite time. Aweful experience that caused me a lot of stress and inconvenience."

Cons: "Todo, la comodidad del asiento, la cordialidad de los asistentes de tripulación, no hubo comida, no puedes escoger tu asiento y no es una aerolínea low cost, no hay entretenimiento en los aviones"

Cons: "I could have been warned that you need to get a pass to go to Hanga Roa before you can board. I had checked because I had heard there was a fee but upon investigation, it was said that this requirement had been eliminated. Wrong!! You still need the pass but you don’t get charged a fee. The extra time required for this tedious meant we missed our chance to check bags and do incurred hundreds of dollars more to get on the same flight the next day. No Bueno!!! This should be highlighted up front!!"

Cons: "Didn’t know that Mac users need to download app before the flight. My suitcase handle was ripped, filed a report. See what happens. I guess someone will contact me."
Pros: "Very smooth flight. Good service and food though the items on the food tray were just the meal and a dessert snack. Other airlines have food trays with salad, fruit, the entree and a snack dessert. But as long as we get there safe and sound I am ok."
Cons: "Boarding process in Miami was chaotic. Started late as the crew reported late to the flight. Nobody knew what's going on until the gate agents made an announcement that the crew was reporting late. We departed almost an hour late."

Cons: "The services is good, but they do not do it with a smile on their face. I asked for a cup of water and both times it took them about 10 minutes to get me that cup. The crew always seems to be bothered to serve the customer. There is also a big difference between services going straight to Santiago on the 787 and to Peru on the 767. I understand the plan (767) is older and that does not bother me. What bothers me is the disparity in service between the two. I received great service the first time I traveled on LATAM, ever since then they have disappointed. I do not understand what is going on with them."
Pros: "In flight entertainment system was pretty good and boarding went smoothly"
Cons: "Latam needs to rethink seating in the airbus. I’m 5’2 and I felt completely cramped. Did not have room to bend down for under seat carryon, comfortable exit isle to use restrooms, and definitely could not sleep. Very long flight to be in such cramped conditions."

Cons: "My flight was delayed more than 9 hours, and I do understand the fact that this happens. What I can't understand is LATAM waiting until I arrived to the airport to tell me that it was delayed (instead of calling or sending an email) and told me that it is MY FAULT for not reviewing the website. In addition, at the counter they told us that we didn't need to do a line again for dropping bags in the morning. However, when we arrived the next morning we had to do a 40 minute line. The pain was compounded by a member of the staff yelling at me for asking him to be moved to a quicker line because I could miss my flight. I've always flown on Lan (now Latam) and I've never had this bad experience before. I'm really disappointed!!"

Pros: "Overall I love the professionalism and customer service of LATAM. The interior lighting of the aircraft makes a big difference. The staff is always super polite and friendly. It's my favorite airline."
Cons: "On a 10 hour flight (LAX to Santiago Chile) they should offer more snacks and drinks for people to help themselves to in economy class. Other airlines have water and juice available I felt like I was bothering a crew member every time asked for a glass of water, when I could have just helped myself. Also, maybe have a few light snacks available. After a very light lunch, 8 and a half hours is a very long wait till breakfast!"
Cons: "Flight was cancelled. Main leg of flight which was to take me to Lima from the United States in the first place, was cancelled. Refund should have occurred, yet still charged. Please issue refund."

Very cheerful and very caring and considerate. Must keep saying how good the staff was!"

Pros: "My original flight was delayed and I was going to miss the connection, but LATAM rebooked me in different connecting flights back to the U.S., arriving a few hours later. They automatically took care of my rebooking my luggage, and it arrived just fine. Great proactive customer service!"

Cons: "The food was poor. At least three middle rows did not have any entertainment. We reported the problem, the chief/supervisor flight attendant said that she was going to assign us new seats, she then disappear and did nothing to solve the problem. I spoke with another flight attendant requesting to speak with this supervisor again, she said that I rather voice my complaint through latam.com and the mentioned supervisor, not only lied to us, but never showed up. It appears that latam needs to reinforce their staff training or perhaps to renew their staff supervisors and train them to avoid unnecessary lies to their passengers."

After waiting for 15 minutes in the line, we were told we should have been on another line. there were alot of english-speaking persons on the plane and it would have been good to make announcements in english also."

Cons: "Our original flight was cancelled, and we were put on a flight that landed at the same time our connection was scheduled to take off. We had to run last minute and beg to be put on an earlier flight that gave us a chance at making our connection. Our luggage did not make the transfer, and LAN has only exhibited further incompetence with finding and returning our baggage. Here we are two days later in a tropical location with no clothes or necessary gear."
