Pros: "Nice staff friendly clean plane. Big plane for overseas. Enjoyed the variety of movies to watch for free."
Cons: "Bathroom started off clean. 1/2 way into the flight not so clean. At the end no paper and dirty. Lack of maintenance in this area is a concern."
Pros: "Slightly frayed due to weather- we were kept up to date"
Pros: "Pleasant crew on board. Quick boarding. The pilot made regular announcements when the flight was delayed (for weather or other reasons that were out of their control)"
Cons: "All was good"
Cons: "Never happened. See above"
Pros: "The attendants were very helpful and everything was orderly. For the price it was a very good flight."
Cons: "No individual entertainment on an eight hour flight."
Pros: "The seats were large, and they had power."
Cons: "The flights were both 2-3 hours late, and the airplanes were dirty. They blamed it all on weather, which is fair, but it's almost like their attitude was "hey, we're leaving late already (arriving at 3 am at my final destination), so we might as well not try to have good service since you'll already have a bad memory of this flight!" That being said, I would still take Air Canada in cases such as these where they are $400 cheaper than the competition. I'd still rather have a terrible flight and save $400 at this point in my life!"
Cons: "Flight left two hours late and provided difficulty in Toronto"
Pros: "It was great!!!"
Pros: "I liked how the crew was helpful and wanted to help everyone with their luggage. they didn’t disturb me in my sleep and didn’t walked around a lot. The flight timing was on time and it landed on time as well so that was very satisfying."
Cons: "I didn’t like the sitting of the airplane. It looks more like sitting in a local bus and its not very spacious. On an average these days most people in Canada are tall and above the height of 5’7 feet. I didn’t like how seats are small and have less space for legs and plus the next person to me keep disturbing me cuz he was as tall as me and we both hardly fit in the seat. I am only 6 feet and slim and still had issues. I mean for domestic flight that’s only two hours I can manage sitting in a uncomfortable position but if it was a long flight then i would definitely not be happy and won’t fly with Air Canada again."
Cons: "smaller aircraft with very limited overhead bag storage. Constantly have to announce volunteers for bag check in. Happen both ways. Atl to Toronto and Toronto to Atl."
Pros: "flight attendants were very nice"
Cons: "not even peanuts! seats seemed even more crammed together than usual"
Cons: "Limited luggage spaceli"
Cons: "I was simply trying to relieve myself using the restroom in the back. I had held it in the entire time during take off but I desperately needed to go. The seatbelt sign stayed on for an eternity so I decided to get up to go when I felt it might be ok. Another gentleman also did so, he didn't get yelled at but I got an earful from the flight attendant and she assumed I didn't speak English because I couldn't respond while trying to hold my nladder."
Pros: "No wasted time, they load you up and get you where you want to be."
Cons: "Be sure to gate check anything larger than a small backpack or purse. There is little room on board for carry-on's"
Cons: "Delayed, missed connection"
Pros: "plenty of room, media player, wifi, nice selection of snacks and meals."
Cons: "For an overnight flight I would have expected the lights to be turned off, or at least dimmed. My plan to sleep and enjoy my day of return did not go ask planned."
Pros: "Short and easy checkin"
Cons: "Delayed flight"
Pros: "Staff were good, probably doing the best they could with what they had to work with."
Cons: "I'm 6'4" and a Air Canada Rouge 737 isn't built for guys/girls like me. Give us a bit more legroom!"
Pros: "Loved the plane."
Cons: "I tried to get business class it was full. In general, I don't spend for business class because AC BC is so poor (horrible food, iffy seats, broken entertainment systems). But this plane was different, unfortunately I couldn't get on."
Pros: "I paid a nominal fee to get an exit row. I have a perpetually sore hip and I had a pain-free flight."
Pros: "I can't say there is much in the way of customer service provided during this entire flight."
Cons: "They wouldn't let us upgrade even though there is tons of empty seats in first class, and the flight crew wouldn't even make eye contact or answer call lights the entire flight! Was one of my worst experiences with Air Canada."
Pros: "Everything was good with this flight - really no complaints. The staff was very friendly too!"
Cons: "Nothing - I really have nothing to complain about with this flight."
Pros: "I think cost me without needing to go back and forth"
Pros: "Crew was very friendly"
Cons: "Flight was delayed but only for an hour"
Pros: "My company on the plane was lovely: an older Peruvian woman sharing her experiences in the country."
Cons: "The plane took off 40 minutes late because we were waiting on folks: Can this be a normal standard?! The food was difficult to stomach. But worst of all, the attendants were not kind or particularly helpful. They seemed hurried. At one point when offering drinks down the aisles, the 2 attendants even commented that they were going to beat the other cart down the aisle this time. Furthermore, there was a blind man near us across the aisle. I couldn't see much of what was going on, but the woman next to me seemed rather distraught that so little help was offered to him. When food was served, he couldn't find his cutlery and ate with his hands. When he needed to use the bathroom, he pressed the button for assistance but no one came. Others stepped in to help. When asked if someone would help the man at the gate, an attendant rather condescendingly answered that of course, every handicapped guest will be assisted through the airport. The flight primarily consisted of Peruvians. I can only hope this poor service was a reflection of all of Air Canada, and not what the people of Peru receive regularly. It was as if the attendants were trying to discipline. There were no niceties. Perhaps the language barrier was too much."
Pros: "Short enough flight."
Cons: "Entirely too little leg-room. Crew kept banging my elbow and knee with food cart-didn't really care either."
Pros: "The price :)"
Cons: "Wasn't able to play the videos on my iPhone."
Pros: "Personnel were friendly aircraft was clean"
Cons: "Missed the flight due tot eh first delay then the next one got delayed too"
Pros: "Shirt fight, friendly attendants, provided entertainment."
Cons: "Nothing in particular. Everything was adequate, though the carry on space was limited."
Pros: "Landing and take off"
Cons: "The fact that we couldn't get seating assignment until last minute"
Pros: "The meals provided from London to Montreal were delicious! Best food I've had on a plane before."
Cons: "there really isn't much room in between seats. You can't even lean down in front of you to pick up something with out having your neighbors move."
Pros: "All of our luggage arrived at our destination in a timely manner. Staff was helpful."
Cons: "Checking in our suitcase took exceptionally long."
Cons: "I found the seats a bit tight."
Pros: "Smooth boarding. Polite staff."
Cons: "Check-in person did not attach priority tag to luggage (business class) until i argued with her. This is the second time Air Canada has done this. We paid a lot extra for this service and should not have to quibble with staff in order to receive it. There was no lounge in Charlottetown, but that's not the airline's fault. However, the Air Canada lounge at Pearson was shabby and poorly outfitted. Shameful."
Pros: "This was a standard flight..."
Cons: "I was surprised to see that there were no usb chargers, personal video screens or cabin-wide movies on the trans Atlantic portion of the flight."
Pros: "The service ,the courtesy, and respect. And the flight was smooth. Great crew! Thank you Barbara Caridad Gonzalez"
Cons: "I could not put my foot up on anything. I had tendon problem. No movie ahhh was boredd. Food was not that great but fine I did have window part but rather not get away from the wing. I don lIke the wING section. . Thank you"
Pros: "Every thing was on time. I really like booking with kayak...so simple"
Cons: "Air canada doesn't give a snack with your drink...where as west jet does."
Cons: "Everything poor attitude bad manners and terrible demeanor"
Cons: "Did not fly Air Canada from Phoenix to Toronto; flew much cheaper version "Rouge". Flight was delayed more than 40 minutes in Phoenix while cargo rearranged, making us late for connection in Toronto (1.5 hour layover initially). Stewardess told us we could make flight if we ran through airport, but when we got to the gate, we were told that we had been rescheduled on another flight 2 days later! Crew on flight did not tell us this. We did manage to get another flight to Frankfurt 2 hours later on Air Canada, then to Barcelona on Lufthansa, arriving 8 hours later than originally scheduled. Rouge flight had fewer amenities than Southwest and less legroom. Did not know what were getting when booked flight -Will never fly Rouge again!"
Pros: "Amenable and friendly staff."
Cons: "Getting there really early and being in a late boarding zone."
