Cons: "The pilot arrived late because he went for a Tim Horton's coffee (I know that because I was in first row and I heard the flight attendants talking about that). Then, after he finally arrived with a tray full of coffees, there was an issue with the jet's computer and had to reset it and we had to wait even more. When we finally arrived, our Gate was taken by other plane already and we had to wait (more) for the first one to be available for us. Then, when we finally got our Gate, there was another issue, now with the "finger". They weren't able to move it and connect it to the plane to get off of it. So we had to wait AGAIN. And finally as soon as we got off the plane, they were supposed to give us our carry ons on the aisle (Because it was a small plane CR700) , but again, we had to wait almost 10 minutes so that they could send the luggage... To make things worse, I had a first class ticket and I couldn't get the perks of it at the airport. Because they said I wasn't flying in an international flight. Come on?! Canada->USA->Mexico is not International??? You lost me AA."

I explained but she lied and said person was in wheelchair. Got on board and took photos of young woman seated - not in wheelchair and was up walking. Agent lied and was nasty. Ruined entire trip as I was not able to move much or stretch my injured leg. Am still in pain as I type this review. Complained to AA. Agent was so nasty! Should not be allowed to work with passengers. Fire her!"

Cons: "When I purchased my tickets, American decided it would be reasonable to separate my husband, our 1 year old daughter, and myself which I was notified of only when I asked the customer service agent over the phone prior to our flight. She explained that she was unable to do anything about it. I then called American during my trip and spoke with another agent who said it was out of her hands as well and to take it up with an agent at the desk at the airport. When I checked in online, I was able to change our seats myself which was nothing that either agent even suggested. The lack of ability of these agents on the phone to help two parents traveling internationally with a toddler was unbelievable. American has terrible customer service."

Directed to go to 1of3 stand up desks located in the open away from the gate and boarding lines. Desks were attended by one United employee each. All 3 of us;wife, husband, child passports, boarding passes were checked, and then we were told to get in line to board the plane. About one minute after getting in line, wife name was called over the boarding desk loud speaker to see the boarding desk attendant. At the boarding desk, the boarding desk attendant instructed wife to go back to one of the open area desks to have documents checked again. The attendant then instructed wife that her and her bag would need to go through a secondary search before wife would be alloyed to board the plane. Wife was then accompanied by open area desk attendant and walked down terminal 8 gates to private type room where personnel quickly checked contents of single carry on bag focusing on phone and computer. Wife then directed to go ahead and go back to gate to board plane. Wife quickly walked to gate and met husband and child to present passports and boarding passes. At this time the wife and child began being verbally rushed by a male united employee to hurry up down the pedway, and told the plane needed to leave so hurry up. Needless so say wife, husband and child were the few last guests to be seated. Well, when trying to get seated, all the overhead space had been taken in the area around the assigned seats. When husband briefly described the secondary search situation and thus the current predicament with no space in the overhead for carry on, the attendant asked husband to follow attendant to front of plane with your bag in order to stow there. After speaking with some other attendants, space was made available in an overhead compartment near wife, husband and child seat. ***Please be aware when flying united.... While waiting in the boarding line after multiple security checks where you and your carryon have been scanned and more than one document check has been done, you may to be asked to take a walk to go through yet another bag check, and then be rushed to board a plane that needs to leave, and then find no room for your carry on, and then be asked to put your carry on in a remote location and deal with getting to it and back to your seat for the next 11 hrs if you want to access the contents of your carry on."

The quality of in seat tv screen is mediocre - best to watch on your own device (but then you need the USB connection that is missing on this flight). The wifi kept on dropping in the plane (both ways). The food is not as good as served on other airlines and they ran out of dishes both ways and we did not have choices and had to eat what was available (which was not good either). Should indicate on seat selection when making purchase if there will be items below seat such as metal boxes that will limit legroom more than for other seats. I was placed at such a seat both ways, and had no legroom for over 8 hrs each way. :/"

Cons: "Poor communication on gate change. Delay on flight boarding, and there were issues with engine. Stuck on the tarmac with no AC, they had us off-boarded since everyone was sweating. Reboarded after, no AC still until takeoff. Delayed more than two hours- this was last flight, and caused me to miss connection flight. Was supposed to arrive in final destination at 11pm that night- ended up getting there at 9:40AM next day."

Cons: "We had issues with every part of this flight. The kiosk wouldn't find our confirmation, and it took 20 MINUTES to get assistance. The ticket attendant called the gate to let them know we were coming, then when we got to the gate (after over 30 minutes in security) the employee at the door stopped us and said we were "too late". The plane was still connected and the door was still open. We were there for 10 minutes trying to reschedule, and the plane took that much time to leave the gate. The gate attendants were very rude and tried to route us on a flight from Las Vegas to Chicago, then to Anchorage. When I questioned them, they put us on a flight that was 6 hours shorter, and arrived at the same time. They didn't even sit my husband and I together, even though there were seats available."
