Lady in TXL yelled at me to leave her desk and to call Air New Zealand. Air NZ said they cancelled flights then Flyus.com said to deal with Air New Zealand and said my flights got cancelled and that they could not get me another flight. I had to find out how to get out of Berlin. I had to fly to Spain to my cousin’s home because I haf no where to go and did not have money to pay for another flight from Berlin to LAX 1,200 euros. I am still in Europe stuck and it is Monday 4/30. My son needs me in Los Angeles! I will never use Kayak again. What happened to my $878 dollars????"

I didn’t want to meal but I did want a bag and it’s a big difference. If you do it online it’s 39 Australian dollars, but if you do it at the airport it’s AU$160. That’s just outrageous and the staff was not helpful at all"

Pros: "My husbands booking was not processed correctly from the site we booked through, and we didn't notice the mistake until we were checking in. We were at the airport at least 2 1/2 hours before boarding time. The mistake could have been rectified, we were told it would need an email from Virgin to confirm and change the booking. We photographed and sent through passport details. We phoned the booing site, we phoned Virgin, we were put on hold for 25 mins while the booking site phoned Virgin - but Virgin refused to help us out! My husband was not able to board the flight - no refund, no help - and the sad part was, it wasn't for a holiday - it was to visit and help his 87yr old father-in-law who had fallen and cracked his spine. No sympathy from Virgin, VERY DISAPPOINTED!"

I bought from you air tickets with Scoot airlines from H.K to Singapore on 30 December and back to H.K on the 3 January. when I came to the H.K airport to check in with scoot airlines they said to me that I can't go to Singapore because my passport expired on 2 of June and it's less than 6 months if I want to go to Singapore I need to have in my passport more than 6months. sow in the end I lost the ticket to Singapore and not only this I went back to H.K I toke a room in the hotel 150$ and the day after I went to the embassy of Israel to extend my passport and I bought a new air tickets with Cathay Pacific 350$ to go to Singapore. its mean that I lost my ticket +500$ .and all this because you never informed me that my passport needs to be valid more than 6 months . you can see also in your letter its written there that my passport need to be valid there is not any thing about 6 months. if you was telling me that before I could change my passport. sow pleas I insist that you will pay me back half on my ticket that I lost + my expenses 500$. if I will not get it back my story will be all over in the internet about you I suffered a lot"

As a long term frequent flyer with CX, this was a very disappointing experience."

I am sure if she was given a child's meal she would not have got this. We were then told we have to advise the airline 12 hours before we fly that we want a child's meal. I am sorry but when travelling we should not have to do this and nor have we ever had to do it on any other airline. Poor poor poor!!!!"

I called their help desk when I couldn't access my reservation. My problem is their systems push your first and middle names together as a first name in their systems so I couldn't access my reservation. I really, really struggled understanding the person on their help desk. Then 48 hours before my flight I tried to book my seats and get my boarding pass. There were no seats for a party of 3 traveling together and only middle seats for the 3 of us. I waited for 20 minutes calling their support center. Of course their team could not help. All seats were booked. Luckily she offered to book my seats for the return and we managed to get the last 3 together in the back of the plane. If you book through Kayak recommend immediately calling to book seat numbers. I have ran out of room but returning from Vancouver their systems didn't read American passports and everyone tried to get tickets issued the staff at the desk laughed when told and said they knew it was a problem....but it did keep the many skiers busy in the self service line:) Also the desk opens 2hours and 59 minutes before departure so don't arrive early"

They greet you when you board, don't feel like a number like domestic flights in the USA be it American, Delta, United, or one of the others. They provide free premier movie access, serve a nice warm meal and drink, and make you feel welcomed - Keep up the great work Qantas, you could give the USA airlines lessons on how to treat passengers."

I have tried to get this addressed four times now at first they tried to place the responsibility on the airlines now us and they have hung up on me twice. Kayak has been worthless, they also just pass the responsibility on to someone else. We will never use them again ant I intend to make sure that this mess is put out in social media to hopefully keep others from having their travel plans ruined by their flawed system."

Flight arrived late in the evening when most flights were basically complete for the day. Luckily, I happened upon a red-eye arrival, and spoke to an agent at that gate (Taj). Taj was without a doubt, THE BEST GATE AGENT I HAVE ENCOUNTERED IN MY 40+ YEARS OF TRAVELLING!! I explained my situation to him, and he immediately asked to see my travel info. He proceeded to get me on a flight much earlier than originally anticipated, upgraded me to Premium fare status, and did his best to re-route my luggage (which he informed me was still sitting in ATLANTA 18 hours after having left there...) - how does someone get on a flight, and their check-in get noted, but their luggage does not get put on said flight?? Things that make you go hmmmmm.... All that aside...I will be planning a trip to Minneapolis-St. Paul specifically to take a gift of appreciation to Taj! Well done on this end Delta - Taj is an excellent example of intelligent customer service."

Then while lining up at the airport to process and check bags there was no computer to self serve and get through the line up faster and efficiently. The main clerk that helps with the line up was rude to passengers. Stating that on a domestic flight you need to be 2 hours ahead of boarding. Which most of us were a good 90 minutes to pre boarding. All of the struggles can be avoided with self serve check-in and prepaid bag check. The flight and crew were friendly and pleasant."

If I hadn't been there to ask, I don't know how long my mom and dad would have sat there. 2. The man who wheeled my dad to the gate was very nice and he said he arranged for all of us to sit together, which was nice because I wasn't able to sit with my parents since we weren't able to choose the same row when we booked. When we boarded, we found out that the seats hadn't been changed, and the person who previously booked the seat beside my parents refused to move so I sat in the row beside them. These problems were minor but they highlighted a lack of communication between staff and the attendant dealing with us wasn't the most friendly either. I used to fly westjet in the early days when I still lived in Canada and I've noticed that the level of service has gone down. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity and space to comment. Cons: "I traveled from Vancouver to Edmonton today on WS 320 and one of my luggage was delayed. I had to wait through many phone call queues to get in contact with an agent and none of them were very useful. I was informed that my baggage would arrive in Edmonton at 5pm and be contacted to arrange delivery options but I had not heard anything from them and it is already past 8pm. I had to stay at home to wait for the phone call which resulted me in canceling my evening plans. The luggage contains frozen home made goods and various food items I brought back from my recent trip to Taiwan. With the food not being in a freezer for over 12 hours at this point they've likely all gone bad. I am extremely displeased with the bagging service especially when I had PAID to get my bags checked. I was told that packing food in checked bags comes with a risk and is a game but everything in life is a risk and I find that excuse from an agent very unacceptable. I am also very upset that WestJet does not offer compensation for food damages because the foods in my luggage are definitely worth over $200 and some are not obtainable in Canada."
Cons: "I was given a ticket with the seat 3A (one of the plus seats); I didn't ask for it or pay for it, I just got that seat when I was checking. After I found out it was a plus seat, I acknowledged to nearby the flight attendants and nearby passengers I didn't pay for this, that there was a mistake, and I could move if there was someone who did pay for it. What I received from the flight attendants are accusatory remarks/comments about how shouldn't be there because I didn't pay for it (after I acknowledged this before anyone even had an issue about it) and passive excuses that didn't make much sense when I asked them why there ws this issue in the first place. I was fine with moving seats from what I was initially assigned to, I was fine with being moved twice thereafter (first moving to 21E, then to 23E). What I was not fine with was 1. the accusatory tone by the flight attendants that I tried to take someone else's seat 2. even though I was given the seat by the person at the check-in desk when I didn't even ask for it and 3. after I was the one who initially brought up this issue in the first place and was willing to changet seats with he rightful passenger. Please learn to take responibility for your actions and mistakes and errors rather than blaming it on a passenger who just wants a safe flight home. Thanks."

There were no other flights available until the evening, and we were stuck for 8 hours at the Edmonton Airport before we were finally given a flight to Abbotsford.
