Not so good. I paid for a preference economic seat, and I couldn’t incline it back because it was blocked. They explained me that because is the last before emergency exit. The company new that but it was not explained in the seat selection
It was on time. Snacks could have been provided for free.
Tirana was crazy check in and getting bussed to another gate. Both Germany stops were intensive customs but organized, but that wasn't the airlines problem. The crews were fabulous on the planes. The announcements were not easy to understand in English, slurred speech. Customs inthe US were fast. We waited for luggage, three later arriving planes had their luggage and left before us
Business class old style from 10 years ago. Ok for short flights but nor for 12 hours journey. The passenger near the window have to jump over the passenger seat aisle side or wake him up to upright the seat. That’s not the business class that you expect on long night flight. Seats are not so confortable. And believe it or not no wifi!
We have travelled on 13 December with Austrian Airlines from Yangon through Bangkok and Vienna to Varna. The first flight operated by Thai Airlines was nice and comfortable. I wouldn’t say the same thing about the next two flights which were operated directly by the Austrian Airlines. During our flight from Bangkok to Vienna: > The service was very poor – serving of food and drinks was disorganized, late and not combined, the stewards were walking back and forth without doing anything substantial for the passengers. Even the morning breakfast was very late with a cup of coffee almost while landing (after a reminding). > The food itself was OK-ish but for a 12-hour flight, there were no snacks/bites in between dinner and breakfast as it is with the other airlines. > The cutlery was wooden, most probably recycling, but very unpleasant to eat with. > The stewards were not rude but not friendly and/or helpful > And also, half of the passengers had travel sets, others did not. The flight from Vienna to Varna was another surprise: firstly, the flight was late and secondly, they were serving only water free, even the coffee was paid, so were the snacks, but we had to pay to reserve seats. The whole experience is as if it was a low-cost airline. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend using the services of Austrian Airlines: the ticket prizes are quite the same as of the other carriers flying to this destination and you would have much pleasant time.
Friendly staff, always good food , as comfortable as it can be in economy
Business class is not worth it. Not comfortable and old plane with no privacy or enough space unless you on the single seats
We didn’t fly into Neuark , because it departed without us . We ran to a closed gate , and no staff to assist, then to a customer service center that was also closed, then briskly walked (20mins) to another customer center and got a ticket , waited 2 hours , got a flight to JFK instead, because of the time delay we Ran to catch our train home , and again our luggage arrived 3 days later delivery time at 3:45 in the MORNING!!!! Crazy!!!!!! Took a few days to shake off this disappointment of your service. You’re an embarrassment to customer service .

It was just ok, after a weather delay and had to take 3 planes in one day I asked for another cookie and she said no only one per passenger, found that a bit pity after spending my whole day in airports and planes
They delayed all our flights and lost our luggage flying to Tokyo, Japan. Worst experience I have had with any airline. DO NOT BOOK.
They did great as being my first time flying with them I will consider flying with them again on my next trip.
1. Nowhere to sit at the gate D4 2. No control of lining up in different zones 3. People pushing in during the line up of zones. 4. Certainly not in a dignified manner.
Both meals (chicken option for dinner and omelette for breakfast) were lacking in good texture and taste.
The experience with air Canada, was not really good, first they try to charge for the seat again in the counter after being paid in advance, second we have to wait for a hora inside the plane before departure for mechanics problems
It was great. Although when I got my luggage it was broken.
Flight was delayed going and coming from my destination for over 5 hours. All I was given was a $15 meal voucher that wasn’t even able to cover my lunch or dinner.
They gave us chocolates twice (for whoever would like an extra chocolate - kids did!). I asked for an extra water, and I was given one. Crew was very friendly!
It would have been nice if my luggage had made it onto my connecting flight as well. Now I have to wait for my luggage to be delivered and that might take a while, which certainly put a damper on the entire experience.
I barely made the flight. We had to take a bus to the plane and the plane smelled awfully of body odor. When the flight attendant walked by she smelled of body odor. It was incredibly uncomfortable. Also my luggage did not make it onto this flight and when it finally arrived home the handle of the luggage was all ripped. I will have to purchase a bag again.
The flight was ok, the flight attendants were lovely, the movies were good, the food was ok, and I am just sad because my luggage didn't arrive with me in Iasi because the flight from Vancouver to Frankfurt was delayed and then I barely made the rest of my flights. Also, there was no real support once I got off each of the flights. There was nobody to ask about gate or where to be and for example when I got off in Vienna to catch the flight to Iasi there was no screen where I could read the gate and time of departure of the plane. I was going crazy trying to find the plane to Iasi and I barely made it. When my luggage finally arrived home it was broken. The handle was completely broken and that was not so good. I am in a visit here, in Romania, and I will have to buy a new luggage.
My mother is 87 years old and has knee problems. I have reserved a wheelchair indicating that she is immobile. For her it is very difficult to walk short distances. On arrival in Frankfurt, I was called via my mother's phone, by the female employee who had my mother in a wheelchair. She asked me how many and what color suitcases she has, which I explained. I was very surprised when 15 minutes later my mother walked out with her cane and balancing with great difficulties assisted by a young couple who were pushing her suitcase. Where was the wheelchair and the airport employee? I find this to be a disrespectful and abusive behavior of elderly people. It also raises the question of professional misconduct of the airport personnel in Frankfurt i.e. the female employee who abandoned an 87 year old immobile person by the luggage lane. I would like to inquire about the details i.e. name of that employee.
It was excellent. I upgraded from premium economy to business and it was totally worth it. We were on a 747 and I sat upstairs and enjoyed the privacy. The crew was incredible especially the woman who had been working with you all for 30 years.she was absolutely spectacular as was her cabin. The food was delicious. I would just serve bread with the meal. Don’t take it away!
Crew was nicer to some people than others for no apparent reason. I had to get an older lady’s attention because she was too busy talking to passengers.
The flight crew, the on-plane service, and the food were fine. The seats lacked cushioning and were uncomfortable compared to other planes from recent flights. The plane was initially delayed one hour and that expanded to 1.5 hours. When we boarded, there was insufficient room for our carry-on bags, which added more time to disembarking from the plane. It appeared the Air Canada staff or the Toronto Airport staff were less than competent to handle whatever the issue was that caused the delays, which was never communicated.
Boarding was haphazard after people with small children or walking difficulties
Gate was difficult to know. Flight number from Lufthansa directed to a different flight number by SunXpress, which was different from my actual flight per the airport. Multiple people (at least 3 others) were lost with me at the airport in Munich (I didn't know them) trying to get to a different terminal. Too many confusing signs, and no one could help. When I found some Staff members (surprisingly difficult) told me "you have to figure it out." Yeah, that's why I'm asking and walking around in circles. Thought I would miss my flight, turns out I had plenty of time, but I couldn't figure it out for the first hour. 90% airport's fault, not SunExpress.
