Delays. Poor support booking a hotel after a diverted flight.

The Air Canada AC1 flight from Toronto to Tokyo on May 16 was great overall. Service, crew, food and entertainment were all excellent and everything ran smoothly. We had emergency exit seats so legroom was amazing, but the seats themselves weren’t very comfortable and the plane feels like it could use an upgrade for a long-haul flight. Aside from that, everything else was perfect.

The long delay was the worst part of the flight.

Baggage check is an aggravation. We had four 4 bags, if a bag is just .10 of a kilo you cannot check it on AC self baggage check. It is not possible to check the weight of the bag at the self checking. Should you check a bag that is under the limit it will go right through and you can’t get it back to redistribute weight from a heavier bag.

I cannot think how they could put more seats together but they did. So elbow to elbow leg to leg for these long journeys they should consider leg space at least. Since they did not offer to check people's carry one space was tight and if you did not get on first people used your assigned overhead storage so now your doing these same to another. Cascading inconvenience.

Despite exit row seating, which gave leg room, seating was so narrow, the next passenger spilled over onto my seat. WiFi did not work.

It was okay. The seating didn’t give you much space especially when you book a premium. It was still pretty close. The seats had no screens which was a disappointment. The crew was awesome though. Again I wish the wait between families with children boarding and general boarding was a little longer to give families some time to get situated especially those bringing a stroller like myself or for solo parents travelling like myself who has to do everything. The time between boarding zones especially with chilling is so short, I had to gate check my stroller and did not have enough time to pull it down and transport my luggage inside all while having my infant strapped to me or to even ask a flight attendant to assist as they’re busy with the the general boarding going on

Flight itself was not bad at all. However: my checked bag (checked in Calgary) did not make it onto this flight as I found out after I landed at EWR. I still don't have it but it appears that it is on its way to me.

Flight and attendance were very good we had 2 hour delay that took the shine of it

Rude flight attendants with poor service. Worst first class experience I’ve ever had.

Crew was very responsive to give soft drinks etc.. At Frankfurt Airport Special Assistance did a great job for us. The seat cushions were simply bad and not up to the mark for Premium Economy which we chose. All the cushions from Business to Economy were poor. Also, any snack besides lunch and breakfast, you have to purchase including chips and chocolate. It is simply cheap. I don't think I will fly Condor anytime soon

The short leg flight was fine. Crew and airport were nice to allow special assistance which helped.

Planes are new and clean and staff is attentive. Food wasn't great and chair cushions were very uncomfortable for long haul flights.

The boarding process is a nightmare. They put you on a bus for 30 minutes with no air flow. The process was extremely slow and we were behind schedule so they auto rebooked us on a flight for our layover. The new flight was 4 hours later in the day, we landed an hour and 45 minutes before our layover flight so this was completely unnecessary. When I called to get us back on the original flight the support staff was useless

It’s a budget-friendly airline, so expect smaller meal and snack portions and no free alcohol to drink on international flights. Airline food is never exciting in economy class, so I always plan on taking my own food and snacks- and I don’t consume alcohol, so no complaints from me! Flight attendants were friendly, attentive, and helpful. The airplane was newer with USB a+c charging ports, massive infotainment screens, and a lot of entertainment media to choose from. The airplane seats are less padded than other airlines I’ve been to, but the benefit is that there was more legroom because of the thinner seat profiles. Honestly, more legroom gave me more comfort than having more padding on a seat (which just gets flattened over time and repeated use) Overall, I really liked my Condor experiences (4 different planes) from LAX-Frankfurt-Barcelona and back. I would not hesitate to fly with them in the future, if the prices are lower than other companies

They made us walk thru entire Frankfurt Airport, which at this age. With very less time, we had to run. It was unacceptable.

They answer the phone promptly. Crew is friendly and they work efficiently.

I flew premium economy. My only complaint is the size of the bathroom. I am 6’2 I. Tried to rush my teeth in there and ended up getting toothpaste and water in my pants. And the only way to do it was by sitting on the toilet

My flight was delayed twice. It finally left 24 hours later. In addition there were conflicting messages between kayak and condor that made the experience worse.

Upgraded to premium economy at the gate. Well worth it!
