Cons: "Had a layover in Toronto. From Toronto we flew to Istanbul and then Venice. While waiting in line to board in Toronto, I was told my carry-on luggage was too big and needed to be put under. I asked MULTIPLE times where my luggage would be- either Istanbul or Venice (final destination) and EVERY time I asked, I was told my luggage would be waiting for me in Venice. Once we arrived in Istanbul I asked AGAIN if my carry-on luggage was here or if it would be in Venice and I was told it would be in Venice. Once we arrived in Venice, my luggage was nowhere to be found. The lost luggage crew (and 90% of the people in Venice) were completely rude and acted like we were a huge inconvenience for them. (I've heard that many Europeans cannot stand Americans, but we were not being rude or obnoxious at all to anyone- we just wanted a quiet, romantic vacation.) So safe to say that it was an extremely rough start. We were in Venice for the Glass Art Society Conference in Murano and due to my luggage being lost, had missed the first day and a half, therefore wasting hundreds of dollars. Luckily my boyfriend's phone worked in order to spend our first two days of vacation (not to mention the amount of money spent on international calling costs) tracking down my luggage, but again dealt with completely rude people who barely helped us with any answers and even hung up on us multiple times (and I'd like to add that despite my frustration, I made sure that I was not speaking rudely one bit). The best answers we received were from the people at the Istanbul airport who told us that Venice received my luggage hours before I even called Istanbul- which I do not understand why the Venice airport did not tell me this because I spent all day speaking with them. Once I called back the Venice airport to confirm what the Istanbul airport told us, they said (once again rudely) that they called me on my phone but did not answer (which I already told them that my phone did not have any service and to call my boyfriend's phone number). So to sum up: I will never be flying to Venice ever again."

Decided to do their own thing rather than what the airline allows. It's almost like they lacked training or just don't want to learn. No accountability whatsoever as one of the employee said "it's not like it's gonna affect my job anyways". Poor poor terrible customer service, no courtesy, no etiquette. I can go on and on but ain't nobody got time for their negativity."

Cons: "If you sit the the second cabin on the 777 they run out of buns and champagne by the time they get to you which is unacceptable for business class and they only finished the meal service 2 and a half hours into a 10:30 pm departure flight which is way too slow. They tried to lie to me that they didn't have champagne but I saw them opening 2 bottle when I went to the front lavatory. Between meal services crew is non existent."

The shuttle service provided took another hour at 2am! $47 to cover four meals and no mention of flight credit on my first leg for the HUGE inconvenience. A direct flight to Budapest a 27 hours after the fact is the best they could do and wanted to charge me a change fee too!! My vacation is cut short by this mess and my travel companions already in country are waiting on me to get their trip started. I will not be using Air Canada or Turkish air until they can communicate between one another and provide at least average customer service. So, it's safe to say that it will be the 12th of NEVER when I fly Air Canada"

Couldn't answer regulations for transporting pets, had to dig up rules and regulations online myself. Made a reservation the same day for the dog and they never sent a confirmation. Went to their office at Pearson and they had no clue as well. Two days before the flight they called to tell me my dog can't fly due to unknown reasons and created a MAJOR nightmare. I paid $400 for papers and cage for the dog only. Very very unprofessional and will NEVER fly with Turkish Airlines again!!!"

A kind passanger assisted me. This was even more annoying as I had to pay $25:00 + tax for my case."

I had a laptop but it is inconvenient to have that out while trying to do things in a small space. The chairs were also really uncomfortable, more than usual."

Cons: "After weather forced us to miss our flight to Delhi from Toronto (understandable), Air Canada booked us on an AC flight to London and then an Air India flight to Delhi from London. In Toronto they told us that we couldnt get our bags because they were in storage, but that they would be on the plane to London and then to Delhi. Upon arriving in London, Air India told us that Air Canada never booked us on their flight to Delhi - that neither of our names were on their manifest. Air India was helpful in getting Air Canada's mistake fixed. Upon arriving in India, my partners bag was nowhere to be found. It would be logical to assume that his bag was in London and never made the imaginary flight Air Canada booked us on. However, even though our bags sat in Air Canada storage for 24 hours, his bag was never even loaded onto our flight to London. He didn't receive his bag until 6 days into our trip, causing all of us to miss out on multiple experiences, including the ability to leave Delhi because of our need to get his bag and multiple missed and promised deadlines from the airline."

Cons: "I didn't enjoy the sassy customer service representative who "assisted" me in redirecting me for the next possible flight to India. She booked me for a flight to London and told me that I was also confirmed for an Air India flight from London to Delhi. This "confirmation" was false after checking in with Air India. There was no entry of me being registered for the flight. Luckily, there were enough seats to make my accommodation. The looming concern that followed was that my bag was clearly not going to be in Delhi once I arrived to my destination. This then became my reality and had to deal with not having my luggage for 6 days in India. There was blatant disregard between both airlines in trying to deliver my bag to me. They both blamed each other and refused to claim responsibility. With both refusing to claim fault, I had to fend for myself and pay for clothes and other necessities. Hands down, the WORST experience I've ever endured while traveling with any airline. I vow to never fly Air Canada and Air India ever again."

Plane is so long it takes forever for even simple beverage service to get to you, blocking aisles for hours while various carts are dragged about. Servings were mean, you could only get the can of soda if you begged, refills were also slim, and ice was a cube, maybe two. At one point I was so dry I had to page air staff to ask for more water (and I Never do that!). Food was mediocre at best. Landing, plane shook so hard I thought it would come apart! Planes like this need to be retired FAST. Last time I will fly this equipment. I'm literally going to pay all those ridiculous fees to change my return flight. Hated this exhausting, inconvenient, unpleasant and entirely too expensive experience. Don't fly Air Canada overseas!!"

Cons: "I don't fully understand why, but I was unable to get my boarding pass for my flight to Chicago from Toronto until I arrived in the Toronto airport. Toronto airport sequesters off international arrivals, so in an ideal world, I would have been able to go through security directly to into the U.S. terminal, bypassing Canada customs. However, the United desk that I needed to get my boarding pass from located just before security was unmanned. The very kind Air Canada attendant called for a representative multiple times, but after 45 minutes of waiting no one ever arrived to print my boarding pass for me. The Air Canada employee then gave up on any United staff showing up and suggested I try going through Canadian customs and checking in at the same departure desk travelers first entering the airport would go through and make sure to let them know how long I was waiting. The United employee I spoke with told me that I was impatient and should have continued waiting because now she didn't know what would happen with my checked bag and that I may well need to wait 2 hours more for that to get sorted out. I was rather surprised by her overly negative response and apparent threat. If I was irate or yelling that might have been warranted, but frankly, I was so tired from the international travel I didn't have the energy to fight with her. Regardless, I wish I had been more impatient, it was far easier to go through customs twice than I expected. At any rate, Canadian+US customs have it together; when I went through U.S. customs to get into the terminal they had the photo of my checked bag right there."
Pros: "My complaint with United is twofold: extremely poor customer service and airport experience. First, the plane was delayed Then cancelled took customer service 50 minuets to rebooked on a new flight to sfo instead Sjc which is far away from my house & I paid for CAB!!"

I had no option to select seats, and when we boarded I was seated on the last row by the galley with no reclining seats and the florescent lights were on nearly the whole time on a 10 hour overnight flight. There are no seat back TVs and the free streaming service went down repeatedly just like the AC outlet at our seats (there are only two of these for three people). I booked this trip nearly a year in advance, and I am extremely disappointed that I wasn't informed that I was flying a budget airline on a 10 hour flight."

Five minutes later the screen said 7:15 (and later, 7:35); at no point was there any announcement about these further delays. They then stowed carry-on luggage below, so passengers lost access to any entertainment in their carry-on. There was no entertainment on board."

We immediately called to retrieve it and at first were told to file a complaint online, no matter how many times we tried to tell them that time was of the essence in this situation. We also begged the united airlines personnel to speak with a manager and he wouldn't put one on the phone. In the end all they could tell us is that the folder "wasn't there""
