Pros: Nothing

Cons: Delayed flight, my seat was bumped from an aisle to a window seat although I checked in online and secured the Seat 24hrs prior to departure. The excuse I was given by staff is that the person sitting next to me is a “big” person so it’s for my benefit. Well the row I had planned to sit in had two people with an empty seat in between. And they were not “big” as was said. my seat I was moved to had sick children behind my seat whom were coughing and kicking the back of my seat and the row was completely full. An aweful experience and to top it off, the planes entertainment program was broken so we were provided with no entertainment, video or audio.

Pros: It was a mediocre flight, what can I say: minimal leg room, right isle spaces and not nearly enough room to be comfortable. The in flight accommodation was a nice touch. No snacks but free soda/juice/water provided

Cons: Nearly zero personal space. The leg room was so minimal for a woman of 5'6 that when the lovely person in front of me reclined I had no choice but to invade the person next to me. There were no snacks provided and overall an uncomfortable experience.

Pros: So now we check in on line. Check in at Terminal 2 Then at the gate the West Jet staff do repeats calls asking for people to check in. The shuttle from Terminal 2 to 3 seems unnecessary, especially with the set of stairs to bus shuttle. A bit dangerous to line up on stairs especially for the elderly managing bags etc. Lower price on checked bags and you will not have to do repeated call out for volunteers.

YYZ

Okay 4.6

Cons: When tavelling with a child, which is always identified at the time of booking by providing child's age, every other airline was able to accommodate seating together. Even at the lowest fare class. Not Westjet, their automatic computer seating assignment gave us seats in separate rows !! When asked at the checkin and also again at the gate, we were told that the fare class that we paid for does not allow seat changes. They simply would not seat a parent and a child together unless we paid extra $25/person to change seats. This kind of gauging for money was shocking. Especially when there were 3 other rows behind us with free seats together !! This was clearly a case of wanting more money. At the lowest fare class parents travelling with children can expect the child to be sitting separately from them. Or pay up more.

When I arrived at destination, no notice that next flight was delayed, even though it was over 3 hours late. Thought I only had 1 hour to go through US immigrations and customs. Ran to the other end of the airport to be on time. Aircraft wasn't even at airport and flight was over 3 hours late. They couldn't have posted that so we didn't have to run across the airport? Changed gates, but no announcement. One other flyer was looking at the board and called out to the group waiting that there was a gate change. Left Vancouver at 8:00 am, arrived in Boston at 1:30 am. Pros: Great price! For the price, we didn't expect much, just travel and get there safe - NO FRILLS. We paid a little extra for legroom and are happy this was not an inflated price. Paying in advance for our bag and getting a small discount was also appreciated. "Get what you pay for" without feeling "nickled and dimed" is what we consider economical and fare treatment.

Cons: Again "you get what you pay for" is considered. However if I was to be critical, the choice of movies was a little stressful and one sided. (Star Wars and The Avengers). I brought my own entertainment but I felt bad for the Older generation who may have preferred something a little more relaxing and less CGI explosions. Also the interior decor and hardware of the plane was seriously aged and worn, which could use for an upgrade soon.

Pros: Boarding was good and the crew were helpful/friendly.

Cons: Flight delayed 3 hours. Aisle Seat narrow and was hit a lot every time someone went bye so there was no napping for me however since it was a direct flight and only 3 hours I would take it again. I was glad when we landed.

Pros: Hassle free and easy. Since our airport arrival was ddlayed by rush hour traffic, the check jn process was made easier by the Air Transit attendant's assistance to be processed through fast track security clearance.

Cons: The Food and Entertainment raiting above should be understood as Not Applicapble

Cons: I didnt like how snacks werent included for my 6 hour flght. Also the amount of waste made with all those plastic cups is astonishingly ridiculous. Switch to a more green solution!!!

Pros: You pay for what you get. WestJet staff are always wonderful. The fligh is a flight.

Cons: Was't a problem with WestJet. However if ever departing from Vancouver don't rely on the wait times provided in the airport. Give yourself ab addition 30 mins extra.

Pros: Finally sleeping in my bed in Montreal

Cons: Cramped seats , no elbow room , could not sleep , very difficult to sleep - muscle pain in shoulders lead to nerve impingement and numb arms . If westjet cared about their reviews they would offer an upgrade on my return to make a fair judgement again their product line

Pros: The crew was friendly and courteous. The trips were on schedule.

Cons: The food selection was poor and they were out of my first choice from that limited selection. Also, it seemed pricey for what it was. I was disappointed to find no crossword or sudoku puzzles in their magazine.

Good 6.0

Pros: It was a mediocre flight, what can I say: minimal leg room, right isle spaces and not nearly enough room to be comfortable. The in flight accommodation was a nice touch. No snacks but free soda/juice/water provided

Cons: Nearly zero personal space. The leg room was so minimal for a woman of 5'6 that when the lovely person in front of me reclined I had no choice but to invade the person next to me. There were no snacks provided and overall an uncomfortable experience.

Prices are per person, are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in CAD.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.

If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us,
please send us an and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
