They were so kind to us! The entire staff were so good to us when we had our service dog join our trip and we couldn't be more grateful!
The flight was fantastic. All the crew staff were wonderful. Everyone was so friendly and they went out of their way to help make it such an enjoyable flight! I think on such a long flight there should have been some food given. Even cheese and crackers and maybe some cookies!
Excellent, I traveled with my adult mom, she was happy for your service, especially, because you helped her with the reel chair. Only a little thing, in the airplane to Boise, the seat was very worn.
Upgrading from premium class to first class caused me to almost miss my seat on the flight. The system “un checked me in”. So I not only lost my first class seat, but my premium seat too so I alsmot didn’t have a seat on the plane. The app did not let me know as it was showing my seat assignment all the way up until boarding began. This exact same thing happened to another passenger. And to top it off, I now have to jump through hoops to get my refund. Awful experience with Alaska, I don’t intend to fly with AA again unless there are no other options.
Very satisfied with the trip, using Kayak and Alaska Airlines.
How can we get assigned an A seat when booking a flight ?
Flight was delayed and hour due to tire issue. First flight of the day, this issue should have been discovered prior to boarding.
Good experience, first time flying Alaska Air. Slight delay boarding, but still arrived on time. Excellent leg room! Very friendly flight attendants.
I liked the legroom even in row 26! I fell asleep immediately and slept the whole flight.
Alaska Airlines was hit with a bad IT outage. I think its a one off and dont want to give a bad feedback to them because of that. In addition, to all the delays our particular flight had a health incident and had to stop midway. Again no negative feedback because of that. However the way they dealt with the delay was not genuine. First the communication was not consistent and always kept changing. I lost a day and $647, completely because of them. They promised a refund which i have complaints about. First it was never given to me. They aksed me to call them or text them and the wait time was 1.56 hour for calls and 3:50 hours for texts. Finally when they texted back, the support executive was rude and asked me to get my refund from Delta the other airline that i booked my ticket because Alaska cancelled their flight. When I asked why Delta would pay me for Alaska’s delay she just ended the chat. To get back on the chat I had to wait for 3.5 hours. I could not. Second they announced that even if they pay us, they would not refund us cash but were giving us a discount on future travel. I vowed never to go back to Alaska so, i do not want the discount refund. Overall, I am terribly unhappy with Alaska Airlines and never going back.
The food was not as good as Air New Zealand. The veg pasta was pass-able but the veg cibotta sandwich was dry, hard and not up to par. The coach staff were attentive and accommodating.
Flight was delayed by 2 hours. Got lucky that i had a long connection, else would have certainly missed my connecting flight. Food is just okay, specially the breakfast is worse . Asked for water 30 mins before landing, the response is that we are landing so everything is packed . I guess traveling in economy that’s what we get. Probably business class passengers would get a different answer. Only good thing is that wifi service is available from auckland to lax for most part Next time will try united or American and then compare.
Good and appreciate the effort Air Zealand puts into using more environmentally friendly food containers and utensils. yay! One of the better airlines for this for sure. Still some bad stuff, but at least Air NZ is trying. :) Also really enjoyed the bluetooth option for personal headsets. :)
They are my favourite airline in the world by a million miles.
Great except paying $240 usd for 2 pounds over on a checked luggage. Outrageous.
