Flight was delayed and hour due to tire issue. First flight of the day, this issue should have been discovered prior to boarding.

Good experience, first time flying Alaska Air. Slight delay boarding, but still arrived on time. Excellent leg room! Very friendly flight attendants.

I liked the legroom even in row 26! I fell asleep immediately and slept the whole flight.

Alaska Airlines was hit with a bad IT outage. I think its a one off and dont want to give a bad feedback to them because of that. In addition, to all the delays our particular flight had a health incident and had to stop midway. Again no negative feedback because of that. However the way they dealt with the delay was not genuine. First the communication was not consistent and always kept changing. I lost a day and $647, completely because of them. They promised a refund which i have complaints about. First it was never given to me. They aksed me to call them or text them and the wait time was 1.56 hour for calls and 3:50 hours for texts. Finally when they texted back, the support executive was rude and asked me to get my refund from Delta the other airline that i booked my ticket because Alaska cancelled their flight. When I asked why Delta would pay me for Alaska’s delay she just ended the chat. To get back on the chat I had to wait for 3.5 hours. I could not. Second they announced that even if they pay us, they would not refund us cash but were giving us a discount on future travel. I vowed never to go back to Alaska so, i do not want the discount refund. Overall, I am terribly unhappy with Alaska Airlines and never going back.

Flight was delayed 5 hours for no reason. Every single time I fly Alaska, there is a problem. This will be the last time

Terrible customer service, closed check in hours before flight left, provided incorrect information

Like the friendliness of the crew, each flight had a very very drunk person next to me and the last flight had a very obese man pushing me into the aisle while the crew kept ending up hitting me in the shoulder with the beverage carts.

Well, the baggage porter on Maui told my mom that our carry on luggage was overweight and if she gave him a 50 dollar tip he would let it go through. She tipped him and he tells us that he needs my Alaska airlines cc to waive the extra baggage charge. Find out later that since my original reservation was not under my name using a Hawaiian airlines CC, I would have to pay for the luggage anyway. I told them I had to end up paying for my daughters ticket when you all said because she turned two using my Alaska Airlines cc, now they need to charge me for her seat/flight, but you guys didn't care and i ended up paying for the bags and my mom paid the porter 50 dollars extra for nothing .. It was a crappy experience. First it was a multi trip. PDX-HNL then HNL-OGG then OGG to PDX. All bought under one ticket. My daugher turned two during the flight from HNL-OGG, but when I bought the ticket and at the PDX airport they said since i bought the ticket before she was two, everything is fine. come to find out no, I had to pay her ticket HNL-OGG and again OGG to PDX. you guys scammed me. You should say it on your website and make sure people know that during flights if the child turns two they have to pay for their seat. If i knew that from the very beginning i would have bought her ticket and it would have been LESS than paying TWICE for her flight! and you scammed my mother with you porter who told her to pay him 50 dollars and he would take care of the extra luggage weight.

The plane was late taking off. We sat on the plane at least 45-60 minutes before moving away from the gate. Im 5’9” and 185lbs and there is no room in those seats. On top of that you shoehorn a waterbuffalo of a woman in the middle seat to where her sweaty rolls and arms were well into my seat and touching me the whole time. It was either that or press against the opposite arm rest and get hit by the beverage cart and every single person who walked by.

The airline said get there three hours before the flight if you do not have the new Real-ID. Except nobody is at the check in desk and i had to stand in line for 30-45 minutes for somebody to start checking in/accepting baggage.

Not a comfortable trip, the seats are not good, and they look old.

Lost my luggage and brought someone else luggage to my airport.

Not entirely positive. It’s frustrating that everything is done through the united app. One of our flight attendants on our trip from San Francisco to MSP continually had trouble hearing people so she flipped her hair into people’s faces

I flew United from San Francisco to Auckland. My connecting flight from Auckland to Christchurch was canceled with no explanation. I was finally told the cancellation was due to fog. Even though it was clear when we landed. I am from San Francisco, I know what fog is! And I didn't see any fog. I was told the next available flight was 7 hours later. Unacceptable, they should have had a flight ready to go as soon as it was deemed safe to take off.

Our original flight was cancelled from SFO to AKL on 6/16/25. So we had to stay overnight at a hotel after a 12-hour layover plus 3-hour delay before the cancellation. Then had to fly to LA and then to AKL the following day losing an entire day of our vacation in NZ, that we can never get back.

Two hours was not enough time to transition from the international to domestic terminal. You have to go through customs, a biological hazard check, gather your luggage, take a bus to the domestic terminal and recheck your luggage. The bus was slow and crowded and the lines to recheck your bags were very long. We missed our connecting flight. Initially, the Air New Zealand officials were not helpful at all in helping to get us on another flight. Told us we would have to buy another ticket for a flight 11 hours later. Found another agent that was more helpful. He helped arrange to get us on standby for another flight three hours later. Had to ride in jump seats next to the flight attendants, but at least we eventually got to out destination.

Great! Flight was delayed by 30 mins but all was great. Thanks.

The business class upgrade meant a good sleep on the way home after a long week away. Excellent service, great food, and comfortable seat/bed for the journey.

I love the “boarding from the back” idea - it’s so much better than the “Zones” idea that many others use. Also, the inflight wifi was a first for me! Very nice to have on a 13-hour flight!

Again, Air New Zealand was great. They kept bathrooms clean, food was actually very good, New Zealand wines a big hit
