Pros: "Boarding was easy. No issues. Friendly staff. We had to fill out customs declaration forms but didn’t have a pen. We asked stewardess for a pen and they didn’t have any left. She said to borrow from a neighbor which I thought was rude. We don’t know our neighbors. If a flight requires filling out a form, they should provide enough pens to do so."

Pros: "Easy boarding nice clean and spacious, I am tall so it is sometimes difficult to have enough space in aricraft. Staff was very nice, polite and helpfull during the long 12h flight, very nice job indeed!"

Since we were advised to get there 3 hours in advance only to wait two and a half hours in what is quite possibly the most uncomfortable waiting room anywhere this just makes the cramped plane even more frustrating."

Cons: "I booked through kayak and received an e-mail saying "you're booked!" with a flight itinerary and everything and then I got to the airport and they told me I had no ticket to get on the flight and no payment had ever been made and that to get on the flight I would have to pay over $1000 for a seat !!!! The original ticket I bought was under $400. I was NOT happy with this at all - Kayak screwed me over and I expect compensation."

Pros: "Boarding went smoothly. We were on time. Attendants were excellently friendly and efficient. That is so nice to not have a grumpy flight attendant. Drinks are ridiculously priced, but I wasn't suprised. Great flight."

Pros: "Pilot almost barrel-rolled us climbing out of JFK, so if started well enough.... Ground assistance (wheel chair) left me with a badly bruised left big toe and I didn't think we'd ever get through the TSA. The pat-down I received was more like a sexual assault and I didn't even get a happy ending. We made it to RDU, so the exercise was a success, but it was a huge hassle."

Cons: "lack of carry on luggage space. very tight. gate agents did not care about the customers. I had to stick my bag under the seat and only half would fit so my feet did not fit with my bag. it was a back pack. I do not prefer checking luggage since I've had so many bad experiences."

Pros: "I liked that from China to Seattle on the flight itself they took very good care of us making sure we were all comfortable, hydrated and well fed."
Cons: "The Shanghai airport did not open luggage drop off until 3hours before my flight when I was told it would open 5 hours prior, as well as tried to get me to leave to rent a hotel for the night as my layover was a few hours, then delayed Seattle boarding for over 45 minutes, once we were on the plane we were then told we were number 25 to leave therefore leaving us another hour and a half of a delay."

Cons: "Flight was booked via Princess for a cruise. Flight from Vacoouver to LAX was through Delta partner Westjet. One schedule number and flight number for Delta, a different set of numbers for Westjet. Westjet requires you call them for seat assignment for a fee. Just not smooth!"

Cons: "The flight was cancelled after several attempts to departure. We had to spent the whole night in the JFK airport. Finally, it departed to Detroit with 2.5 hours delay. It was a nightmare."

Cons: "Unfortunately the first leg of our flight was delayed over an hour. Although we made our connecting flight (barely), our luggage didn't make it onto the plane. It was OK since it was our return flight and we received our luggage later the next day."

Cons: "I arrived at YVR to check in for my flight at 4 pm. I was told they couldn't find me In the system anywhere and when they finally did find me they told me they had booked my seat onto another flight that didn't leave u til 6 pm and I would arrive home in San Diego at 10:40 pm. They refused to check my luggage because they said I had arrived too early. I wasn't too early for my originally scheduled flight! I now had to sit in the airport for 5 hours. I had to call home, arrange a sitter for my children whom I was suppose to see at 8:55 pm. They said there was nothing they could do about it."

Pros: "It had been years since we last flew UNITED. Honestly, we were a bit apprehensive after learning of friends' negative experiences but we moved forward with our plan. The flight was smooth, and ahead of schedule and the crew was totally on top of their game. SPOT ON!"
Cons: "If I would make ANY suggestion, it would be to load people from the back of the plane to expedite loading. Your current 'zone' approach results in lots of waiting for passengers lo sitting in the back....as the front passenger's mess around, trying to get themselves situated...CLUELESS that there are a hundred others WAITING in the aisle, as they tussle with their sweaters, purses, tech equipment, etc. (if you get my gist!). Just something to consider....."

Cons: "I don't even know where to begin. Horrible flight with two obnoxious dunk clowns that kept this red eye flight awake. Because they were loud and obnoxious they got all the service on the flight. The way they acted, very inappropriately to another passenger, and sneaking booze from their carry on-Wished there was an air marshal on the flight. Won't be flying United again."

Pros: "The plane was clean, left on time and arrived early. Expecting that there were too many carry on bags, they offered to check some bags at the gate for no additional cost."
Cons: "The snacks were a waste of time. The charge for the entertainment system is based on the published flying time but since those are overstated to improve on time performance, the entertainment charge was excessive."
