Any communication that no human being from Avis would be available at 2:30 am (due to Allegiant Airlines delays) would have been a big first step in customer service! Staff working airport service desk were very nice. But… Time: It took about an hour from time I arrived at counter to time I drove out of garage. Product: I didn’t get the car/category I had reserved. Garage Staff rushed me into a car from a different category, that wasn’t as comfortable as the car I had reserved. I had reserved a Toyota Camry (or equivalent) but ended up with a small Mitsubishi SUV (hard seats, loud road noise, low horsepower). Service; like I said, the counter staff were nice. The garage staff weren’t so much. They acted like they were doing me a favor by not charging me more for the car I ended up with, which clearly wasn’t the experience I was seeking. Cleanliness: The vehicle had a used mask hanging on the sun visor and some dirt in back floorboard. I know it’s tough for them right now, so I don’t like to complain. But this was not the car I wanted to drive around my 80 year old mother on a road trip.Reviewed 15 Nov. 2021

Pros:Car wasn’t clean upon pick-up. But I can live with that. What made it such a bad and frightening experience was when I started my road trip the morning after picking up my car. It wasn’t until then when I got on the highway and learned that the car had a controlled speed limit that someone programmed with the Ford feature that I could not override. I wasn’t able to go fast along with the traffic and almost got hit by a truck. After trying to reset the controls, I took the car back. Tried to get a full refund for not being use the car for my trip and was denied.Cons:They could make sure their cars actually work properly and are safe.Reviewed 14 Jun. 2021

Pros:drop off was easyCons:cost transperancy.. got ripped off.. becoz I was charged .40$ per mile on 300 mile trip. No indication of per mile at the time of rental. Giving out cheaper rental to beat search engine, but charging per mile. Felt really awful.Reviewed 11 Sep. 2019
