We noticed the car shaking badly when we would brake on the highway. We then noticed the key chain had stickers saying there was a tire leak. When we checked the tire pressure, the right side was underinflated and the left really overinflated. We got them all to 35 psi, but the car still shook when braking. The car was pretty dirty so we had to run it through a car wash. The USBs did not work so we had to handwrite directions when our phones died. Waited 2 hours in line to get my car at pick-up. Didn’t have the car we reserved so they gave us an electric F-150. They gave us no instructions or info about charging stations or apps to use to find charging stations ( I don’t drive an electric car normaly). Spent 5 hours of our last day of vacation trying to find charging stations since ford trucks can’t run off of Tesla charging stations without an adapter that budget did not provide.Reviewed 27 May 2024

Will never use them again. It took 90 minutes to get through the check out line. Over one hundred people waiting in line for 4-5 agents who took 10-15 minutes per person. The absolute worst and slowest customer service I have ever seen. Their employees truly did not care.Reviewed 10 Apr 2024

Had to switch cars 3 times because the first two had a tire pressure problem and the under carriage was scraping the road when we were driving. Did not feel safe. Finally switched it to a 3rd car and it was okay. They don’t check the cars before hand and didn’t even send us any e-mail receipt or confirmation until we had to call several times for it. Couple times we called customer service the employee was rude and no help. Will not be using budget in the future.Reviewed 23 Mar 2024

II ordered a car for 12:00, I picked it up at 16:00. because there were no cars. I did not order an electric car, after 4 hours of waiting the service representative told me that he only had an electric car for me. The car had a damaged charging indicator. The process to pick up the vehicle took 1 hour and 30 minutes. The line at the airport was 70 customers deep. From there, you had to shuttle to a garage. The process was long and cumbersome. The employee at the counter “Ron” was excellent. Extremely friendly.Reviewed 4 Mar 2024

First rental at Memphis, they were sold out of cars despite having a reservation. Then they told me they would call in the morning and never did. I ended up having to use a ride share everywhere. Then I went to pick up a car at DFW. DFW is a 24 hour rental center. There was no one at the rental counter or in the Budget lot. I ended up having to rent from another company.Reviewed 27 Feb 2024
