Pickup was rough. Budget counter was shutdown, Avis rep was nice, but it took three trips back and forth to the garage just to get a car as they didn’t have what we reserved nearly making us late for our appt elsewhere. Upcharges galore for adding a driver and toll pass meant it was almost double the quoted rate, the car was too small and dirty, and had issues. Drop off went smooth and that rep was nice, but after renting from Enterprise for years and getting upgrades and great customer service, I’ll never rent from Budget again.Reviewed 29 May 2023

I returned the van 2 hours before it was due back. Their rep must not have filed the paperwork properly because Budget is still asking me to return the vehicle - 2 weeks later. My credit card company declined all the charges Budget processed against me and I had to get a new card due to perceived Fraud on Budget's end. What the HellReviewed 17 May 2023

The pickup process at the Budget counter was very crowded and slow at DFW. Some people were encouraged to exit the Budget line and go to Avis but the service people at Avis didn't know that, so only one Budget terminal was available for use. Then after waiting in line at the Avis counter, you had to go to another line in the pickup lot and wait for your car there to be brought out to you. So that line was even longer because Avis and Budget use the same employees and there were not enough cars available.. Basically, a lot of waiting and inefficiency.Reviewed 19 Apr. 2023

Booked on Kayak, arrived at airport and was told they were sold out and didn’t have the vehicle I booked. I was quoted a little over $800 on kayak and when they eventually “found” me a Suburban which I had booked and was told they didn’t have at first, it ended up costing me $1481.
