Waited in line for over an hour. 20 ppl in front of me and probably 75 behind me. Gave up and booked Avis for the same money and the next counter over. Walked away with my keys while my spot in line was still 10 ppl from the front. Tried to cancel the reservation twice phone rang out the first time and was hung up on the second time. I picked up the car at 11:00 and could not see the small dent on the fender (dark blue). Also, found a lot of broken safety glass in the third row seat. I had small children to worry about even after I vacuumed it out, there was still glass everywhere.Reviewed 8 Mar. 2023

The pickup at airpport was a disaster. Agent at desk was a complete jerk and Erick Sosa the manager wasn't any better. Only when I called the 800 number did I get results. Car I received was filthy so had to take it to a car wash to have it cleaned. There was no window washer fluid in the car so filled that up as well. With the attitude I received at the airport pick-up I didn't dare take it back to get a different car. Warnings kept coming up on dash board that car needed service.Reviewed 4 Mar. 2023

The price was good—the pickup not at airport but a few miles away. Luckily a friend was able to take us there otherwise would have to get Lyft or Uber. The car was fine but a maintenance message came on in the middle of our rental saying to take the car to a dealer. I figured it was notification of a regular maintenance check up and nothing dire, but it was a concerning. Drop off was at the airport and very easy. Overall, a positive experience—just a little odd that pick up place was so remote and far from airport.Reviewed 2 Mar. 2023

I was the ninth person in line and it took an hour and a half to get to my car. The car they gave me which had only 4000 miles on it had a warning light that service was required. I did not notice the light until the next morning. I brought it back and the guy said oh lots of the the cars have that warning. I said, OK, give me a written note acknowledging that. He said no I’ll just give you a different car. He then gave me a car that had 48,000 miles on it. It was in poor condition. The battery went dead twice. The serviceman said the battery was fine. It was probably the alternator,. In addition I was supposed to pick up the car on January 1. Oops, they were closed on January 1 and I had to take a cab to my condo and a cab back to pick up the car the next morning. Just an awful experience with Budget.Reviewed 1 Mar. 2023

The rental site is further from the airport than I'd expected. The car had a dirty windshield and when I used the wiper fluid, the wipers didn't work well. They need replacing. There was a hole in the driver's side carpet and there were no mats in the car. It would have been better if the check out guy had warned me of the hole in the carpet and the ding on the body near the wheel before I went to get the car. He should have told me the damage was noted on the paperwork so I wouldn't be charged for it. I won't use this rental location again.Reviewed 8 Feb. 2023

The line at the counter was 3 hours long. I stayed for an hour and barely moved. Took an Uber instead. The next day went back and the line was 2 hours long. The counter had 2 people working and every customer was taking 10 minutes because of the upselling being done. Do the upselling online and just check IDs and hand over the keys at the counter.Reviewed 26 Jan. 2023
