We didn't end up renting the car. When we arrived, they told us if we do t pay $600 for their separate insurance, we have to pay $36000 US to cover the entire car, even though we have coverage with a credit car. The car would have ended up being over $1200 for a week. We will never book with Europcar again.Reviewed 8 Apr. 2024

Pros:NothingCons:They false advertise. They had quoted me $118 for the whole week. When I arrived, they want to force you to take their “protection”. The rate went from $118 to over $500 It is a scam. There was another foreign customer there that was facing the same issue, These company is dishonest and want to take advantage of their customers. Cons:It took a while to convince the overzealous agent to accept my credit card's CDW. He would just not acquiesce that Mexico City is indeed covered under worldwide CDW. Dropping off was quite hard to find where exactly to drive at the airport because there are no signs anywhere. The car could've had an electronic lock.Reviewed 25 Nov. 2019
