The wasn't a USB port to charge our cell phones. Both of our phones died before we could get to a charger.Reviewed 12 May 2023

We were expecting to pay about 300 EUR for the week. When we picked up the car in downtown Munich, we were told that there would be a 300+ EUR charge for taking the car across the border into Austria, and our card was charged for over 600 EUR. We were incensed and the woman at the counter was very unpleasant -- she said that was just was Europcar charged. Given that is was a Sunday morning and we were not at an airport with other options, we still took the car. Upon returning the car, our invoice shows a final payment of about 300 EUR we were originally expecting to pay (which includes a 30 EUR fee for crossing the border) and the 600+ EUR has been returned to our card. We don't know if this was a miscommunication their part, a misunderstanding on our part or what, but we were SO MAD to pay what we thought was an extravagant hidden fee for crossing the border that it tinged the trip for us. The unpleasant woman at the counter in Munich did not do Europcar any favors, nor did she explain what was going on.Reviewed 10 Apr. 2023

Our pick-up location was reserved at the main train station, but when we got there, we found they had moved to another location since April. It would be more helpful if we could be notified earlier, It was raining and we had to look for the new location in the rain and it took some time.Reviewed 31 May 2022

Kayak insurance is not valid for EuropcarCons:At first, the price was higher then the one stated by Kayak. Secondly, the insurance bought on Kayak is not valid for the rental. The rental guy said, that in case of any damage - I would pay the whole amount.Reviewed 13 Jan. 2017
