Bad experience with Hertz pick up. I reserved and paid up front so we could just go to the car and skip the counter. Trudged the length of the garage, stowed luggage and then couldn’t start the car because the key fob was dead. Unloaded and Walked all the way back to a kiosk in 90 degree heat. Waited a half hour for the CSR to get done talking to another employee while ignoring customers. Finally was assigned another car, no apologies or upgrade and we left a half hour beyond our pickup time. Terrible.Reviewed 24 Sep 2024

Hertz is good but not awesome. I don’t care for how they reel you in at one price thinking that’s what your going to pay and then when you get there your actually paying $100 more. That’s a false advertisement. If I’m paying $265 for my car, you should be telling me that up front, not after I get to the airport and pick my car out.Reviewed 7 Aug 2024

Jim is such a great help and nice guy. He helped me with my reservation and made sure I was happy with my rental before I left for my vacation. Toyota 4 Runners have got to be the most uncomfortable vehicles I have ever driven. This car was in dire need of a tire balance and rotation. You had to fight it to stay stable in your lane when driving. It also kept having warnings come up that it needed an oil change right after we picked it up. Pick up at Nashville was fine but drop off could have been better with airport signage not being super clear on where to go and no one there to direct where exactly they wanted me to pull in. When someone finally did come, he was hateful because he didn’t like where I pulled into.Reviewed 12 Jun 2024

I would not rent from hertz in this airport. For the most part ( one young man was helpful ) staff was at best indifferent. The time it took standing in line and paperwork was ridiculous.One poor man at the pickup was trying to deal with a roomful of people who had been given the wrong type of vehicle. It took forever to pick up a car . The car was excellent and drop off was a dream but I will be looking at a different car rentalReviewed 1 Oct 2023

We had a long wait to pick up our car at the airport in Nashville. They only had 1 guy working the desk for 3 desks/different car rental places. The guy really tried to up sell us on our car and when we would ask how much he would say "oh it's cheap" was very vague. Then when we got the bill it was $200 more than we agreed to (in American and we are from Canada so the conversion was awful) The car itself was good, clean, good on gasReviewed 6 Oct 2022
