Pros: From the moment we arrived until our departure, the level of service was extraordinary. Rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. The rest of the facilities exude an approachable luxury that is likely to pamper any traveler. If included in the price of your stay, the buffet breakfast in The Market dining area is not to be believed. Foods from everywhere well prepared and exquisite service. Highly recommend staying here.
Cons: We dined in the top floor restaurant Above and Beyond and had the Peking Duck set menu with a wine pairing. Here, unfortunately, the highly attentive service became intrusive and absurd. For example, someone comes every minute to check on your table and rather than a casual glance this check includes a careful study. The servers would often jump in to do something unnecessary and pointless such as turning the water bottle so that the label faces you or randomly realigning items on the table in a fussy manner. And if you had the temerity to top off your own water glass, someone would jump in and grab the bottle form your hand. Aside form the overbearing service, the meal was only okay. The duck was tasty, but most of the other flavors were no more than ordinary. And the wine pairings were similarly undistinguished. Considering that the meal (at HKD 2000) was by far the most expensive one we had in 4 days in Hong Kong, it was a very poor value for money. I recommend going elsewhere despite the high rating this place receives on Trip Advisor.

Pros: Came back from South Asia raving about this hotel. Can't believe the luxury, style and amenities. I've stayed in more expensive hotels but I've never stayed in better than this. The smartphone they provide you in room with free international calls and data and Internet made wandering Hong Kong so much easier. The breakfast buffet is vast and huge and fancy and delicious. And the rooms are gorgeous and well appointed. All needs are thought of and anticipated. The staff are incredibly attentive, you feel like you're a VIP. I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Six million stars.

Pros: Great location Modern lobby Close to mtr
Cons: Room was extremly small. Never thought there was such a thing as a TWIN bed hotel room, didn't read detail... I thought the cheapest room at a 4 star hotel will have at a minimum a full size bed.... Reminiscent of my college dorm days... Hallways reminded me of my a scary movie... Very dark, narrow and turns.... Like something bad is bound to happen around the corner..

Pros: Amenities were great. Design was good. Location was great for tourism/shopping.
Cons: Waited a really really long time for a room. Promised us a room then we waited and waited after a long flight. Said they'd come to us randomly in 3 minutes. Had to repeatedly ask for room which we received at long last a little after 3 pm. ( arrived before noon) Then we had to wait an extra hour for them to find our luggage and bring it to the room. This meant a lot of lost time when time was of the essence in our trip. So, plan for this. Otherwise a great place. A lot of waiting in the cafe resto too. Hotel bar was top!

Pros: Great location.
Cons: We checked in and there was hammering and drilling in the room adjacent to ours. I called the front desk and they told me there was no construction happening. I held up the receiver and they heard it. I was later told it would stop by 6p, but that did not help us because we were exhausted and wanted to rest earlier in the afternoon.

Cons: First off we booked for 10/21-23 and my email confirmarion and screen shot of booking all confirmed this. When we went to check in , they told us that booking was for 11/4-6. I showed them the confirmation then they told us we needed to take the issue up with kayak. After arguing for 3 hours(i dont give up) they finally gave us the room. The hotel is NOT a 5 star (1star) and the pictures are MISLEADING. Theoughout the stay the staff was awful. The hotel is also filled with mainlanders which makes it extremely noisy and crowded. Pros: Huge room for hong kong standards. Real (and huge) paintings in the room and corridors. Good location and excellent price. If you have a lot of baggage, the free shuttle to the airport express line ( hong kong station ) can be very convenient (otherwise subway can be faster)

Pros: Fairly quick check in process (which was also improved since the room was prepaid by booking through Kayak) Easy access via taxi, with a covered drop off/pick up area (great since it rains so much in Hong Kong) 2 complimentary bottles of filtered water
Cons: Safe in the room didn't work at all, and looked like it had been tampered with Small lobby with a ton of bags left by other guests, with minimal security and the bags out in the open Toilet was chipped and cracked Shower door didn't close fully, and the hot water took forever to come out Overall, pretty shabby decor and facilities for the price paid. I'd recommend Lanson Place Hotel over the Regal for any business travellers.

Pros: Can't think of any
Cons: Small room, no table, no chair, barely room to put luggage on floor. Towels are incomplete (no face towels) old (thin to almost worn out), and smelly. Housekeeping staff is making all short cuts, did not make beds for each day of our stay, did not replace floor towel, did not replace or clean cups, no vacuuming, nor cleaning of any of surfaces. Access to the rooms require going up two sets of elevators. The first set goes from ground level to the 3rd floor lobby and then another elevator to go up the room. There is no apparent stairs to go between the 3rd floor and the ground, it could be dangerous and it is unclear how to exist in case of fire.

Pros: The breakfast had a lot of good options (but in hindsight I would have chosen to eat elsewhere had I had time to look for another place before work)
Cons: The elevator took 10 minutes to get from the top of the hotel to the bottom. They had pest cleaning for 2 of the 8 days we were there. For a "king" room, you got a queen bed and there was almost no room for walking around the bed. Definitely not a good option for multiple family members staying in one room. The shower was short - hard to wash hair. The gym had a broken treadmill and bicycle and a few free weights. The room itself was about 7'x7' so not nearly enough for more than one person to work out by themselves.

My hip is bruised from the spring digging into it.... I got 3hours sleep total and the rest woken by pain, it's atrocious Breakfast was mostly poor quality Room was tiny, no desk, no where to put bags or clothes, and lifts were excruciatingly slow. Pros: Great location. Nice view from room. An option if you get a good deal and plan to be out all day. Would only recommend for short stays.
Cons: Room was so small it did not have any storage spaces, closet or room to open luggage. No desk and barely any room for toiletries by the sink. Initially, we were assigned to a room with two single beds, despite the fact that when we booked we picked an option that clearly stated double bed. They said that all rooms with "mountain view" have single beds and that we had to pay more to upgrade to "harbor view" if we wanted a double bed. After arguing for some time they moved us to a different room with a double bed. I think we got lucky in the end, with a nice guy in the reception, but frustrating nonetheless after a long travel.

Pros: The cleaning staff and maintenance was up to par and done their job well. I was impress by how the cleaning staff wanted to service the rooms and most of the employees helped with my concerns and questions.
Cons: The description of either full or double bed room wasn't explained properly on the website and I expected a Harbor View but received a Mountain View because they did not give me a double room on the harbor side for the price that I paid and wanted me to pay more for the the double bed on Harbour View which was not described in the website so me and my guest had to take the two twin beds and put them together to have one full bed and the beds were uncomfortable and very hard not being easy to sleep on. The description on the website said full or twin beds with no description on either mountain or Harbor View.

Pros: Staff some great English and seemed to want to be helpful despite nothing to work with.
Cons: I did international business travel staying at all levels of hotels for 30+ years. Unquestionably this is one of the worst hotel facilities I've ever endured. Despite having prepaid for three days, we left after one night. Here's a quick rundown of the deficiencies: few elevators for a lot of guests = long waits and full when they DO arrive. First room assigned on no smoking floor stunk badly of smoke. Bed was like an old ironing board with a thin pad. Room so small (and I'm used to small in London, NYC & Paris) you had to take turns moving about. Nearly half the room ammenities listed did not exist. Returning after dinner, the room drains had leaked a sewage smell into the room. Sink drained slowly. Shower small as a tight phone booth. I'm thin and while bending to wash my knees, I shut off the water valve, haha!

Pros: The location was right near the MTR.
Cons: The elevator took way too long every time. If i were to go down and an elevator floors above me was going down, would pass by my floor and not even stop before going all the way down. I don't get why it didn't stop by my floor before going all the way down. It took about like 15 mins just to get onto an elevator. The smell in the restroom has a stench the whole time during my stay. The room is very tiny, so make sure you don't bring big suitcases. The value for the hotel room, should have been cheaper for a stay like this. The bed was very stiff. The pillows weren't so comfortable. The gym is a really small tiny room. No point in using it.

Pros: Easy access, on the H1 bus line for the Airport Express, getting to/from the airport could hardly be easier. The tram is a 90 second walk down Eastern street. There's a McDonald's a block away and a 7-11 across the street. The bed was fairly comfy and made up every day.
Cons: The room was TINY!!!! I would guess we had 2 feet on either side of the bed and maybe 2.5 feet at the foot. There is no closet or any other place to hang clothing. The tram and bus stops are near by, but the nearest MTR is a long long walk. The hotel does have a shuttle but due to road construction it dropped everyone at the Macau ferry terminal.
