Pros: Everything was great exact the staff were rude on check in. The facilities were amazing and I did get a late check out to 2pm.
Cons: Staff were rude. They couldn't find my reservation. Waited 45 minutes for them to sort out the problem (their reservation system did not like I booked the hotel 3 hours before I arrived). They could have at least offered a drink or snack or something instead of making me stand around waiting for them to sort out the problem.

Pros: We had room service and breakfast was very good- we could enjoy it in our nice corner room overlooking Victoria harbor-very comfortable and a good selection for all our different tastes
Cons: The buffet is probably very highly appreciated but we are a la carte people really so we found the selection a bit limited- we only have dinner at the hotel because of the rally at night in Hongkong this time. Otherwise, Ruth Chris steakhouse is our regular dinner place in this part of town.

Pros: Loved everything about it.
Cons: The breakfast buffet price. A bit steep, but delicious.

Pros: Good location
Cons: We got an extended check out until 3pm as we were holding a wedding reception there. We went back to the room after the banquet at about 3:15pm and were surprised to find out that the cleaning ladies were already starting to clean the room before we check out. We were concerned as all the wedding gifts were still inside the room.

Pros: Service throughout was excellent. Special thanks to Younnes of the Concierge desk and the housekeeping crew on my floor ( 48) for great service and attention to detail. Bravo!
Cons: I had two room service meals. Both arrived promptly and were kept hot in the warmer en route. However, the condiments for my fish congee were disappointing. The peanuts, crisps and you tiao were limp and soft and unappetising. Condiments are meant to add a textural crunch to contrast with the smoothness of the congee. Also, it would be nice to have spring onions. Room interiors could do with some pops of colour. Current colour scheme is classic but bland

Pros: This is a solid choice for business or mature tourist travel. I was in town for meetings and a conference. Normally the distance and taxi time to the IFC area would totally justify the cost savings vs staying closer, at the four seasons. Given the protest activity in Hong Kong, getting a taxi or Uber ti get back and forth was a lot more difficult than usual. It’s a walkable distance, at about 1.5 miles, but not in heels. The staff were all very friendly and staying on the club level with access to the lounge is a good choice.

Pros: Everything! We stayed at the premium harbour view room with patio and private outdoor jacuzzi, from the moment of checking in, the staff have been so attentive. Have a special check in counter up on 41st floor, check in was quick, and they kindly took me to the room and explained how everything works and arranged the water in the Jacuzzi to fill up. With this room type, we got to access the executive club lounge with free snacks from 3pm to 8pm and drinks also. Amazing! Amazing view as well! Have to stay there for the sunset! We had a good time! Same with breakfast, we had it at the 41st floor restaurant with breakfast options which can be freshly cook to order. The jacuzzi is just amazing in the patio outside the room! We had a great night celebrating our special day! Thanks a lot Harbour Grand team!!

Pros: This is definitely a luxury hotel; it looks and feels like one from the amenities in the room to the lobby and the available restaurants in the building. The location was great because of its proximity to the MTR station, which is one of my personal favorite things about Hong Kong so I didn't mind. It's not within real walking distance of tourist attractions or downtown in Causeway Bay or Central, but the MTR and hotel shuttles make it very easy to get there. The breakfast buffet was particularly good and reasonably priced (compared to American hotels). Seems like a nice place to host a business event.

Pros: Impressive hotel, in terms of infrastructure. The breakfast place is impressive, as well as the food selection, it’s very fresh. Staff is kind and speak great English as expected.
Cons: My only complain: the room carpet! It need a renovation quickly. It damages all the room look&feel, as well as the overall experience as its showing signs of wearing out and looks just kind of filthy (even though it might be “clean”).

Pros: This is definitely a luxury hotel; it looks and feels like one from the amenities in the room to the lobby and the available restaurants in the building. The breakfast buffet was particularly good and reasonably priced (compared to American hotels). Seems like a nice place to host a business event.
Cons: We had a great stay, but a lot of it was due to promotions. Our room had free wifi and we had a special rate since I booked far ahead of time. The wifi signal could be stronger, and the TV channels were a bit limited. There was construction next to the hotel, which somewhat took away from the otherwise nice view of the harbor. The view did have a highway between the room and harbor though, so don't go in expecting a harborfront room.

Pros: Being so close the harbour and water-front facilities was a big bonus. Walking distance to all of down-town was fun. The hotel felt very secure during the riots. A 10 minute ferry or tube ride and you can be in the city.
Cons: That we had to leave so soon... we would have liked to stay longer and we will return for sure.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the shopping area, restaurants and retractable clothesline in the shower unit. We were also very pleased that we didn't get a room with window blocked by scaffolding
Cons: It was perfect for our needs
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location and sea view
Cons: The noisy builders, scaffolding outside the building, unhelpful staff.
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was ok, nothing special. Room was comfortable. Staff were very good.
Cons: There was construction type noise from around 4.00 am in the morning which woke me. Even though there are letters advising guests of construction from 10.00am, I cannot be sure where this noise was from. It was similar to a drilling noise. Very intermittent. It happened on both mornings I was there. It stopped around 6.30am.
6.2 Good
Pros: Had a convenient place to stay in Hong Kong
Cons: (1) given the handicapped room. The basin was too low for washing (2) The second day after the room cleaning of room 765, 2 women’s underwear were found (3) room 755 had bloodstain on the beige bed underskirt. (4) only one elevator worked as the other one under maintenance- major waits and inconvenience as had to wait a couple of trips due to it being full (5) cockroach in the elevator near the pool (6) the green clean room special only offered $50 hkd on the buffet... nothing else.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Can’t beat a room with a view, hotel next door cost three times as much.
Cons:
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location for shops, trains and ferry.
Cons:
7.5 Good
Pros: Central location in Tsim Sha Tsui.
Cons: The room had an unpleasant odour and there is no possibility to open the window. We booked a room with a double bed and view of the port and got one with 2 seperate beds and we could hardly see a sliver of water.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great!
Cons: Staff were very slow.I waited about 30min to check in. Everybody spoke Chinese when I asked questions, even the front staffs. Not very welcoming messages for English seakers, I would say. Not at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Salisbury location is conveniently located to all points of attraction in the Kowloon District. MTR entrance across the street. Kowloon Transfer Station shuttle on the corner. Currency Exchange across the street. Walking distance to Ferry Terminal
Cons: High step into bath tub / shower. Difficult for elderly.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great value. Loved the location, next to the Peninsula, the ferry and outstanding views of the island!
Cons:
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Right next to the Peninsula for a fraction of the cost, the YMCA is great value in a clean, friendly hotel. It doesn't have frills, but we have always stayed there in Hong Kong and recommend it especially for families.
Cons: Not much. It's large but has the amenities available to a hotel such as concierge (he was terrific) and laundry service.

Cons: The staffs not considerate for our stay when Hong Kong is under critical demonstration situation

5.0 Okay
Pros: The location was the perfect in Tsim Sha Tsui
Cons: The facility is really old. The size of the room is not too small, however, from the decoration it can be seen it is a really old hotel. I think at least the bathroom could be renovated to match the fancy outside and the reception of the hotel.
6.8 Good
Pros: Good location. Big room. Comfortable beds. Friendly housekeeping staff. Decent wifi speed.
Cons: Dated facilities such as bathroom fixtures. Hotel exterior is being worked on, so all the windows are blocked. There is absolutely no view. If I had known there will be no view, I would have went with 2 other Marco Polo sister hotels on the same street for less money.

Pros: A fantastic hotel! My husband and I stayed there on our honeymoon trip. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the front desk staff sending us even honeymoon wishes with a small cake to our room <3 this was so sweet! The room was wonderful, well equipped, the view on the harbour is unique. Bed is comfortable, rain shower a real plus. The Breakfast buffet is incredible. The young French lady on internship told us to have a look on lunch and dinner buffet, and she was right, those are are simply outstanding and beyond any (European) expectation, offering an enormous Asian, Indian, and continental food choice. There is also enough choice suitable for vegetarians, the salad bar with prepared seasonal vegetables is really a huge plus. The swimming pool on the rooftop (one from 6:30 am) as well the fitness hall (open 24/7) offer a great relax option. We enjoyed our stay really very much and will return there for our next trip to Hong Kong for sure.

Pros: First, I must say Daniel C. Is the primary reason I chose the Hyatt Centric for my stay. I was looking for a nice hotel with a great poolside for sunbathing & subsequently asked to see the pool area. Daniel was the Hyatt representative to provide me a friendly and accomodating tour. I explained I was checking other hotels to have access to a great poolside area. I found several equivalent options from which to choose and I chose the Hyatt because Daniel took the time to show me the property. I came back several hours later and happened to be greeted at the door by Daniel. He escorted me to registration and assigned me a room upgrade. This has been one of the most pleasurable stays ever experienced. The rooms were large, stylish, and impeccably clean. All encounters with staff were refreshingly friendly and accomodating. The harbor view was spectacular. Without a doubt, I would stay here on future visits to Hong Kong.

Cons: 1) For 2 nights, I smelled cigarette from inside my room! 2) The soap dispenser on the bathroom counter was rusted and disgusting looking (staff replaced it promptly), but I expect better quality fixtures in a 5 star hotel! 3) Restaurant (breakfast buffet) is pricy with limited varieties. 4) Swimming pool has great view, but the water was not heated....making it hard to enjoy during non-summer times 5) You need more benches at the swimming pool! Waited for 1.5 hr to get a bench!

Cons: First off we booked for 10/21-23 and my email confirmarion and screen shot of booking all confirmed this. When we went to check in , they told us that booking was for 11/4-6. I showed them the confirmation then they told us we needed to take the issue up with kayak. After arguing for 3 hours(i dont give up) they finally gave us the room. The hotel is NOT a 5 star (1star) and the pictures are MISLEADING. Theoughout the stay the staff was awful. The hotel is also filled with mainlanders which makes it extremely noisy and crowded. Avoid avoid avoid. I couldnt take another day so in the end I booked the shangri-la.

Pros: This hotel is very well situated in Wanchai. It is just moments walk from the MTR and easy to get a taxi as well. It is not a luxury hotel by any means, but it clean and relatively comfortable. If nightlife is in your plans, you are at "ground zero" for the club scene in WC. Staff is efficient if not overly warm. I have stayed at this hotel and for me it always depends on the price. If I get the room at a good rate, I will stay, if not there are other hotels in the area that are more competitive.

Pros: The Hotel was OK. It was in a great location, right in downtown a short 15 min walk to Tamar Park and Harbor. It was nice and quite. The room smelled a little funky. Overall it was an OK stay, perfect for one night.

Pros: Location, location, location! So easy to get around the island from Wan Chai. Close to lots of bars and restaurants, as well as the convention center. It was one of the more affordable options too.
Cons: The staff ended up putting me in a room with two twin beds (when I asked for one queen) AND it was on a smoking floor AND they insisted that they could not move me. Beware -- only about half of the floors in this hotel are non-smoking. Ugh.
4.0 Okay
Pros:
Cons: No way this hotel should be rated as a 4 stars hotel . The bathroom is tiny and outdated ! We called the reception to ask for 2 extra bottles of water (very small size)and the reception girl answer that there will be a charge 10$ for 1 !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: location was perfect, close to bars, restaurants and transport. Cheap taxi ride to airport express check-in.
Cons: All good. Nothing wrong, better than expected.

If I get the room at a good rate, I will stay, if not there are other hotels in the area that are more competitive.
Cons: When I first stayed here 8 years ago, the hotel was showing signs of wear, now it is firmly planted in the "dated" range. The pubic areas are fine, but the rooms could use a make over. Again, it all depends on the room rate as far as value goes.

Pros: Very good location - 5 minutes walk to Star ferry.
Cons: Room was very compact with little room for people or luggage. Dinner buffet was expensive without voucher reductions.
7.0 Good
Pros: Great food, friendly service. A good selection of meals. We had breakfast every day, which we had paid with our accommodation. We also socialised in the bar with snack type meals and of course drinks.
Cons: The size of the rooms, the very small cupboard and drawer spaces - entirely inappropriate for a stay of longer than 3 or 4 days. We had to live out of our cases.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The location is very convenient that I can go almost anywhere in different modes of transportation.
Cons: I was caught in the midst of the so called golden week when China mainlanders flooded the city. Noisy kids running around loudly talking parents filled up the hallway.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Location is close to MTR.
Cons: Paid $---USD for the smallest room ever. Stingy amenities, dirty, old furniture/carpet, only 1 bar of soap. Disgusting view. The 4-star rating is misleading. Ppl have low standards. Don't trust these ratings. Disappointed! Couldn't wait to leave! Yuck!
3.4 Mediocre
Pros:
Cons: Understaffed, extremely poor security and help. They will not even wave down a cab when the queue is full.

Cons: Breakfast was poor...
6.5 Good
Pros: Location was pretty decent.
Cons: A bit dirty in some areas.
Must take two elevators to get to your room.
7.0 Good
Pros: The location is good, and the staff is nice.
Cons: The sound insulation is quite unsatisfactory. The corridor can be very noisy after 0 am if there are new hotel guests checking in.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location.
Cons: Room not ready at check in time. Had to wait 30 mins in reception after leaving luggage earlier in the day having travelled overnight.
4.2 Okay
Pros:
Cons: I stayed 4 nights in total in two separate weeks. The beds were bad and so smaller than usual. I was promised a queen bed and got tiny twin beds (I am 6.5ft). The room was only ready at 2pm both stays. But the worst was the breakfast experience. I have never seen such a bad offer. This should not be called a Best Western and certainly not a 3 stars.
4.2 Okay
Pros:
Cons: Building is too old. Room is way too small. Don't provide enough towels and restroom supplies need. Room don't clean daily.
1.0 Poor
Pros: The only thing I liked about this Hotel was it's location near Time Square and basic room service. Also, nearby local established street shopping options, and very good restaurants that are not chain type establishments that serve authentic area foods.
Cons: Small Rooms and Hotel management needs to ensure when a Room is turned that it is inspected for function and repairs made. My room had a broken TV, stuck curtains, and broken door lock hasp. I arrived at night and had to request repairs be made. Not Good!
4.2 Okay
Pros: The location was decent. Not great, but walking distance to decent public transport and if you took all the right turns you didn't end up in a smelly meat market. Nothing else was remotely good.
Cons: The room was tiny, but that was expected. What wasn't expected was the absolutely terrible mattress. If there had been enough floor space I would have slept on the floor rather than this bumpy, lumpy mess. The room smelt terrible. In the shower you had to choose between water pressure or warm water, you couldn't get both. The staff were abrupt, if not outright rude. I've travelled to over 100 cities and stayed in many, many hotels, including quite a few Best Westerns. This would easily be in the bottom 1% - other than a motel in Atlantic City where there was a murder the night we stayed there I honestly cannot think of a worse hotel experience.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros:
Cons: Staffs are not familiar in this hotel including service manager and the room condition is not the same with the information on the website.
6.2 Good
Pros: Reasonably priced, close to most shops and transportation.
Cons: Quarters are pretty tight... rooms are pretty old. TV is barely usable, but we don't use it that much anyway
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location is convenient to subway and major shopping center
Cons: Hotel entrance is hard to find. Street is dirty. Lower level is hot, no air conditioning. Hotel furniture and fixtures appeared old. Need renovation. However, Compared to the price of other HK hotel, the money I paid was well spend.
3.7 Mediocre
Pros: Cheap price, but otherwise see my Con's to figure out why I didn't like this place. Security guy was OK.
Cons: Staff were rude. They checked me in early, but did not give me my room key because the room was not "ready" yet. Asked to come back after 3. OK, fair enough. Came back around 6pm (I could not make it between 3~6pm), and they made me wait in line behind a tour group of about 50 Chinese tourists to get my key. they had 2 desk staff members working. Ridiculous.
Rooms were dirty. Rooms also small.
Location is good to shopping. But if you plan on buying a lot of stuff beware there is no space in the hotel room to put it.
