Pros: The Langham is a great place to stay, it is handy to everything in Kowloon. The Star Ferry, Symphony of Lights, shopping and MTR is all within easy walking distance. The Hotel is immaculately presented, the staff can't do enough for you and the pool is the icing on the cake. I stayed here for 5 nights and loved every minute of it.

The staff were exceptionally nice, they helped us with just about everything, from travel tips, restaurants and getting around. The hotel provides a phone that you can carry with you with a local sim to use as hotspot (and international calls, although we never tried that) and it made our trip a breeze. Also, the minibar is free of charge and they will refill it every day. Best value for a hotel in Kowloon.

Pros: Came back from South Asia raving about this hotel. Can't believe the luxury, style and amenities. I've stayed in more expensive hotels but I've never stayed in better than this. The smartphone they provide you in room with free international calls and data and Internet made wandering Hong Kong so much easier. The breakfast buffet is vast and huge and fancy and delicious. And the rooms are gorgeous and well appointed. All needs are thought of and anticipated. The staff are incredibly attentive, you feel like you're a VIP. I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Six million stars.

Cons: We dined in the top floor restaurant Above and Beyond and had the Peking Duck set menu with a wine pairing. Here, unfortunately, the highly attentive service became intrusive and absurd. For example, someone comes every minute to check on your table and rather than a casual glance this check includes a careful study. The servers would often jump in to do something unnecessary and pointless such as turning the water bottle so that the label faces you or randomly realigning items on the table in a fussy manner. And if you had the temerity to top off your own water glass, someone would jump in and grab the bottle form your hand. Aside form the overbearing service, the meal was only okay. The duck was tasty, but most of the other flavors were no more than ordinary. And the wine pairings were similarly undistinguished. Considering that the meal (at HKD 2000) was by far the most expensive one we had in 4 days in Hong Kong, it was a very poor value for money. I recommend going elsewhere despite the high rating this place receives on Trip Advisor.

Cons: -The waiter (bartender) who served us in the bar downstairs (which is a very nice bar with an impressive collection of whisky) was a little arrogant. -Due to the unrest in HK, I suggest reception should advise customers if the protests are to be held in the close vicinity of the hotel. Coming out seeing the riot police preparing was not a pleasant thing. Later on (we heard that peaceful protests were previously announced, so the hotel staff could have been warned us) clashes between protestants and police happened in that area (also involving tear gas).

The MTR (Tube / Metro) is right under the hotel basement; and so is the biggest mall of that locality. It is located in the heart of Hongkong and everything including best restaurants, best shopping centres, MTR, Tube, Taxi, Local shopping spots etc were within 1 minute from the hotel. I just loved my stay here and would recommend everyone to make this hotel their home while in Hongkong.

Pros: This hotel was incredibly peaceful but nonetheless very convenience to access the city and even the airport. The staff, especially housekeepers, are very responsive and supportive. I prefer to stay on the higher floor so that I get a nice view of the harbor, and also, peaceful. Cleaning service is superb. I felt like I was in a new room everyday. Here's some tips that might be useful to you, - Fortress Hill MTR is only 5 minutes walk from the hotel. MTR allows you to travel most of Hong Kong with affordable price. - From airport to the hotel, simply take A11 but and take off at 'Electric Market'. This costs you HKD40 per person, It takes around 80 minutes, but why hurry?, it is good to sightsee HK along the way. - From the hotel to airport, catch A11 at the bus stop in front of Fortress Hill MTR, same price same travelling time. Many goods restaurants nearby. For breakfast, I recommend 'Congee Wonderland', best of all.

Pros: This is definitely a luxury hotel; it looks and feels like one from the amenities in the room to the lobby and the available restaurants in the building. The location was great because of its proximity to the MTR station, which is one of my personal favorite things about Hong Kong so I didn't mind. It's not within real walking distance of tourist attractions or downtown in Causeway Bay or Central, but the MTR and hotel shuttles make it very easy to get there. The breakfast buffet was particularly good and reasonably priced (compared to American hotels). Seems like a nice place to host a business event.

Cons: Upon arrival, we received one of the worst hospitalities we have ever experienced especially in regards to our special wedding day. We chose this hotel because of its gorgeous decor and romantic atmosphere. Unfortunately, the check-in clerk did not acknowledge our special day at all. We did not expect any special treatments at all but to pay almost $3000 for a night to feel unwelcomed and a burden was very dissatisfying. Instead of a friendly, welcoming to the hotel, we were reminded multiple times of the importance of keeping the room clean and to be honest, the room given to us was not worth the price we paid. It was close to the elevator, noisy and between two tall buildings blocking natural light. Whereas the room one of our brides maids had booked, had a high floor and a more beautiful view with cornered windows for HALF the price we paid. Overall, we were completely dissatisfied with the amount we paid and received the worst hospitality from a hotel we ever experienced. My husband used to be a front desk manager and he was completely baffled by the lack of acknowledgement to make a couple feel special and welcomed on their big day. We weren’t even told about any of the restaurants in the building, nor lounge use. We had to come down and ask about where to have breakfast and the front desk clerk just replied, “breakfast is over.” Overall, for a five star hotel, this is very disappointing and is over rated.

Cons: We had a great stay, but a lot of it was due to promotions. Our room had free wifi and we had a special rate since I booked far ahead of time. The wifi signal could be stronger, and the TV channels were a bit limited. There was construction next to the hotel, which somewhat took away from the otherwise nice view of the harbor. The view did have a highway between the room and harbor though, so don't go in expecting a harborfront room.

Pros: I think this hotel was amazing, the view and service was top notch. I happened to land very early in Hong Kong, and they allowed me an early checkin.

Cons: First off we booked for 10/21-23 and my email confirmarion and screen shot of booking all confirmed this. When we went to check in , they told us that booking was for 11/4-6. I showed them the confirmation then they told us we needed to take the issue up with kayak. After arguing for 3 hours(i dont give up) they finally gave us the room. The hotel is NOT a 5 star (1star) and the pictures are MISLEADING. Theoughout the stay the staff was awful. The hotel is also filled with mainlanders which makes it extremely noisy and crowded. Avoid avoid avoid. I couldnt take another day so in the end I booked the shangri-la.

Overall, pretty shabby decor and facilities for the price paid. I'd recommend Lanson Place Hotel over the Regal for any business travellers.

Cons: I unfortunately got an allergy (skin reaction) due to the soaps provided in the bathroom OR because of the laundry detergent used to clean the sheets and towels. Not the hotel's fault, but an unpleasant surprise nonetheless.

Pros: The view of the Peak, Hong Kong Island and the Bay is quite stunning. We could also view bits of the symphony of light show every 8 pm from our room on the 25th floor. Room size is good and appears even bigger with the well placed mirrors. I love the luxury fluffy cotton towels. Concierge was very helpful and we had almost immediate responses from the room services staff. Check out was one of the fastest I have experienced. It’s walking distance to attractions, restaurants, shopping and MTR. We even walked to the pier, took the Star ferry for a scenic ride to Hong Kong Island and found our way to the Victoria peak tram stop for a lovely day out on Victoria peak.
