Cons: We stayed at the family room was a little cramped with practically no window view. The room was accessed by a key entry from the lift and was the only room on that floor. There was a bit of a funky smell of what may be best described as burned toast.

Cons: When we arrived we were told we could not have the 2 rooms we had booked and were not given a reason. The staff did however offer us a more that acceptable alternative for which we were very grateful.

Cons: The room was very outdated. The shower had a LOT of mildew and the shower head was somewhat broken, making it hard to use. I wouldn't want to stay there for more than a night. There is no air conditioning, so I wouldn't recommend staying here during a hot time of year. The windows do open, but we could hear a lot of street noise from our room with the window open, even after midnight.

It is probably a normal 2 beds room with one extra bed squeezed in. Very difficult to walk freely in the room because there is no space.

Cons: Do not stay here!!! Unless you like rooms that smell of sewerage (a problem we got told was absolutely nothing to do with them even though it quite clearly imminated from the drains in the bathroom), rude unhelpful staff, small cramped rooms right on the street filled with drunken revellers all hours of the morning and a breakfast that consists of bread, bread and more bread. I'm used to rubbish Paris accomodation but not on this level and at this price. Stay away!!!

Cons: Not enough attention paid to functionality of bathroom equipment (wash-hand basin's drainage choked up). The "best price guarantee" was almost the same with that announced in the reception; besides, after having booked I noticed that the same type of room was later on offered on booking.com at 30% less.

Cons: The rooms are rather small and don't look to clean (walls look like they have not been painted in years, the blanket had a hole and stains). The toilet seat was broken, not too comfortable... I guess the other rooms (toilet seat-wise then) are fine. The staff, the breakfast and location definitely make up for the somehow shabby rooms.

Pros: it was located very close to the subway station, which was great. the room was quite clean, although the bathroom looked quite old.
Cons: The staff at the reception was pretty terrbile. At check-in, when I wanted to pay upfront I realized that they wanted to charge for only 2 nights while the reservation had been done for 3 and for a price different than what they were about to charge me. When I raised the issue, I was told that they only have evidence of 2 and that I was the one who did the reservation so it was all my problem. When I showed the printed confirmation, the receptionist took a closer look at their own system and said that there had been a mistake from their side. Never apologized though. There was no safe in the room. Although we got at the hotel at 3pm and check in was after 1pm, there were no rooms ready.

Cons: We arrived late in the evening but had a standing reservation since February for a room/bed for two adults(my husband and I). Upon arrival we were told they did not have our guaranteed room but could give us two separate rooms or be moved to another hotel but they would not charge us extra .....for their mistake!!! So after traveling for a full day we took the two separate rooms and were not able to spend our first night in Paris together. And for the next day reservation we would be moved to another room after one was cleaned for us....another inconvenience.

Pros: The place was clean but not 'new' so there was chipped paint and worn carpet and all but it was all clean! And during the day a nice ladies comes along and replaces your towels and trash liners with new ones!
Also we like that when it got late- I think around 11pm they lock the front door so no one random can wander in at night without talking to the front desk over an intercom.
We had a sweet courtyard view too!
Oh and it wasn't mentioned when we booked but there is a breakfast option for I believe 6euro that if you ask for it the night before they'll have it for you in the morning!
