Paris Hotels near Hôpital Pitié-Salpêtrière

Pros: The location is perfect! Right by Luxembourg Gardens ( metro stop too!), 10 minute walk to the Seine strait to Notre Dame and 15 minute walk to the Louvre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Modern and cozy. Would definitely stay at Select Hotel again in the future.

Pros: Very closed to all attraction, bus is right outside.

Cons: Love to stay again!

Pros: The location was perfect. Close to metro (St. Michel) and within walking distance to Notre Dame, the Louvre, etc. Courtyard outside hotel had several cafes, bistros.

Pros: The staff was helpful when I had questions.

Cons: Although helpful, I still came away with feeling they wanted to separate guests from their money as quickly as possibly. They were not warm and did not exhibit the hospitality I come to expect from today's hotels. Two examples: On checking in, I specifically asked for a quiet room away from the elevator. Although the relatively room was quiet it was next to the elevator. Unfortunately, because of my jet lag, I didn't realized this until I'd occupied the room. Why would the check-in clerk not consider my request? The second day, leaving the breakfast area I saw a huge cockaroach. I took a picture and sent it to the hotel by email to be discrete about it. They thanked me for the information and said they'd take care of it. When I checked out a bit later in the morning, the clerk told me an exterminator would be there in half an hour. Great for them. But never once did they say they express any need to be forgiven for having a dirty place. They didn't even comp me for the unpleasant experience. I just don't get it. If you want to sell yourselves as a four star establishment you can't just be superficial about it. You have to deliver through and through which is consider this place to be a wanna be four star. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone looking for authentic hospitality and superior service. By way of comparison, I was in Paris 2 years ago and stayed in a two star hotel in the same area and found the service to be of much higher quality. Next visit, I'll go back to them.

Pros: Very large suite, comfy bed. We also enjoyed breakfast in the room - maybe some fruit would’ve been good but a nice selection of breads, croissants. Fabulous staff. Didn’t explore much else of the hotel in a one night stay, but will consider returning. Merci!

Cons: More fruit at breakfast.

Pros: The hotel is in a great location and the lobby and other public facilities were beautiful. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We also liked that there were several restaurants all within the same square as the hotel.

Cons: The rooms were tiny and the bathroom made me feel a bit claustrophobic. Also, the Internet only worked during the day.

Pros: A wonderful location in a charming part of town. The hotel has a classic exterior, inside a modern touch with a lot of innovative pieces of art. The staff was really helpful. A little side-note: The hotel had a delightful aroma and a calm feeling that welcomed us each time we entered the lobby.

Cons: Although the hotel is in an old building, which has it´s charms, some features of it could be more spacious and/or accessible, in particular the elevators.

Cons: The price of the breakfast does not worth it. Extremely expensive considering the offer all around the city

Pros: The excellent location, nice view, fantastic taste and new well-equipped bathroom.

Pros: Everything was fabulous. The small details they put into the room really makes a huge difference in the stay. Such as chocolates on the pillows and in built radio!

Pros: Great location, quite street in the center. 30 steps to the metro, a lot of bars and restaurants in a walking distance. Located between and very near to Louvre and Notre-Dame. A lot of parking places on the street. Good breakfast. Unexpected discounts))

Cons: The bath tub was hard to get into, and there was no proper shower. And there was construction going on at the time. But that was not the hotel's fault.

Pros: This was our fifth stay at the Britannique. It's an excellent, yet quiet location near the Chatelet/Les Halles station makes it convenient to Metro, RER services. We loved the minibar.

Pros: Perfect location for us as our daughter lives locally. We were pleasantly surprised to receive an upgraded room on arrival. Lovely big room with a huge comfortable bed, sofa area, very nice bathroom with ‘soak’ shower. Staff were very helpful & helped ‘guide’ our car into the underground car park, walking in front of the car like a funeral director as our vehicle was a bit to beefy for the french car park! We used the pool & sauna area once, all very nice & clean. All in all a great experience & would highly recommend.

Cons: Junior Suite was poor. Shower (no bath), bizarre configuration. Felt like a badly converted office.

Pros: The staff were great. Very helpful and polite. They make a great cocktail. Room was very clean and chic. Great shower room, large and comfortable bed.

Cons: The surrounding area wasn't exactly the prettiest place in Paris and there is a lot of work taking place in the area. It doesn't affect the hotel which was great. But easy to get around and plenty of local facilities.

Breakfast very basic.

Pros: The location is everything, just walk along the Seine and you are in the city. The rooms are designed in a way that the are cozy, but with enough space. The people are very friendly, helpfull and the breakfast has everything that you need.
