Cons: We ate at the cafe thinking it would be less than the lounge after traveling for 6 hours. We waited OVER a half hour for our meal which we believe was forgotten to be placed as others around us were served, and it was extremely expensive and very small for 100.00 The gal at the desk also said she was going to comp our parking and gave us a ticket, but upon checking out we found an 18.00 charge to our room for valet. We didn't valet, and we had to pack our own bags up to the 14th floor. Service and billing sucked s both either were lacking or overcharged us. They seemed only to care about another dollar.

Cons: The bed. Should have been replaced at least a year ago; maybe more. For the money we paid $500+ per night we would expect a comfortable bed. Terrible. Since the first time we stayed; about 5 years ago; management has converted the in-room safes so you need to use a credit card to use. Dinner over-priced with skimpy servings. Had lunch and went to the pool for the afternoon. We could not get an adult drink without ordering food. WHAT !!!!! They called it a Utah law, however you could go to their lounge and get drinks only. The Hotel is the loser. Bottom line; management is killing this gorgeous hotel by nickel and diming travelers who are already paying a premium to stay there. Please understand, we spend this kind of money on our accommodations, but we will never think of staying here again.

Cons: The beds are like sleeping on a slab of granite. Our backs hurt so bad by morning that we couldn’t wait to leave and go home. The fridge was warm so our food went bad waiting for it to cool down. The Hyatt is usually our favorite place to stay but never again at this location.

Cons: The pillows could be upgraded, I had to use 3 pillows to achieve the firmness I am used to. The staff was accommodating and gave extra Pillows. Also the drain could use some cleaning, the water did build up in the shower.

Cons: Hot water heater broke mid-stay resulting in no hot water for two days--manager Joe had set up showers in another hotel for those who wanted this option-- offered to move us to different hotel and we were ready to move when Joe called to let us know water heater was fixed and we would have hot water in a few hours. We stayed because we liked it there and liked the staff---when we checked out after 5 nights, we found two nights were credited due to the hot water issue--was surprised and pleased that they did this. No problems other than the hot water heater. Was impressed with the way this situation was handled.

Cons: It was a new hotel (I think 5 weeks old) when we stayed so they were still working out the kinks. The room phone wouldn't work except for when on speaker phone, the thermostat unit wouldn't drop past 70 for the A/C setting and the position of the shower head to the shower door created inevitable run off onto the bathroom floor (nothing a towel couldn't soak up but, you know, still a curious choice). But those are very nit-picky things and will easily be overlooked the next time I'm in SLC because I will be staying there.

Pros: We had an enjoyable stay at the hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable and had all we required. A good Breakfast was included. The location is central to the convention centre, restaurants , shops, transport and the Salt Lake City Temple. The staff were helpful and Friendly.

Cons: I booked a year in advance with Elite Status Priority Club status and was told when i checked in at 3:30 in the afternoon "all we have left is the second floor". The room was by the laundry room. We could hear the spin cycles all night long. It was also near some kind of outside air vent that sounded like a jet engine every time it turned off and on. It's one thing to get "the loud room" for a last minute booking, but disappointing when I booked a year in advance.

Cons: Parking was a nightmare. I was under the impression from check-in that being offered a parking pass guaranteed me a parking spot. Long story short, I left for a few minutes and my spot was taken and was threatened to be towed by hotel staff. Not awesome!

Cons: Except for the room and airport transfer, get ready to pay for everything: breakfast, coffee/snacks in the lobby, parking. The biggest surprise for me was an additional deposit I was asked to pay on my check-in (50$). Reason: to cover all possible orders I would make during my stay. Ok, it should make my stay better and my check-out faster, right? Fact is: with my debit card (the reception was informed about it) and only 1 night stay with no orders, I still didn't get it back, as hotel reserved the amount for 30 days (!!!). To find it out, I had to contact the hotel 3 times and my bank once. Not much of a care experienced to be honest.

I had a smallish room but it could not have been more comfortable, efficient or delightful. Excellent bed and bedding. Sink/bathroom setup was functional and beautiful. Lobby/bar/breakfast area are quietly gorgeous. And it all smells great. For $14 the breakfast is excellent; between the Nespresso (I’m a fan), great breads, manchego cheese, freshly sliced ham, and Spanish tortillas (like quiche, but better) you might as well be at a great hotel in Madrid or Barcelona. Front desk folks, in particular Amelia, were helpful and positively delightful. Even the lobby playlist is great. I was there for less than 24 hours but enjoyed every minute of the experience.

The meantime they have firstly 2 transactions of 149.91 and 102.44 when im checking in(around 7.30pm), later in the evening around 22:20, they deduct another 91.91 from my credit card without any reason!!! I went to the front desk they just told me Im sorry. i asked the staff why gave me a single queen room while i booked the 2 queen beds room, he said you can ask my manager TOMORROW, I don’t know. Cons: The room was outdated, the curtains had stains on them, the sink was rusted and hard to turn on. Many other issues with the room. I was extremely disappointed as this was a so called four star hotel and paid a lot of money for but was Like a 1 star hotel.

My 17 year old daughter was also uncomfortable, and teens can sleep almost anywhere. The breakfast "buffet" was the same as most smaller hotel continental breakfasts, with the exception of some better fruit selection and cold meat selections

Cons: Check in staff not available when we arrived at 4:15 PM. Waited about 10 minutes. Manager appeared (had been on phone in back room), and was apologetic and very nice. In the morning we tried to get coffee in the lobby but there were no lids for the paper cups. When I asked if there were any (to avoid burning myself while carrying it), the young woman at desk snapped at me, "there aren't any." No apology, no smile, just a rude indifferent attitude as though I annoyed her by asking.

The television did not work for entire evening( no television service or connection), regerator hummed loudly all night until I unplugged it with my purchase food left to spoil, toilet constantly sounded in my room when the other room used their toilet, and they changed my room 3 times. I should have reimbursed or given 1 night free out of the 4 nights I paid for. The website said I was booking the room for 63.00 but I was charged 88.00. I complained to the staff and booking.com customer service staff about all of these problems.

Cons: This hotel saw its best days fifty years ago. It desperately needs renovation. The paint is falling off the building and sidewalks. The elevator is little better than a joke. The continental breakfast was "free" but still not worth the cost.

Cons: The word "inn" and cover photo don't convey that this is a straight-up motel...nothing quaint about it. It's not modern, and my room's rug and furniture had many stains. In the evening, I was a worried to walk to my room alone since there's no main lobby.
