They had the exact vehicle make I requested for as opposed to other companies who may instead offer you a different vehicle because it was in the same class. Sixt is basically committing insurance fraud. I returned the rental. Employee receives rental, inspects it, notes down the mileage etc. They have me sign off off on the return. The very next day, I get a damage claim notice. You can imagine my shock and disgust when I got that. If they didn't mention what alleged damage was caused, a witness with no interest would not have been able to find it. I had taken a picture of the vehicle but literally had to zoom in on the picture to find the alleged damage. The damage did not even look like fresh damage, but like some pre-existing paint job issue. If you look at Sixt reviews on Facebook, this is their business model. They do this to so many customers, I wonder how they expect to do repeat business. Never renting with them again, ever.Reviewed 29 May 2023

I was pleasantly surprised at Sixt. I had not heard of them before and I had previous challenges with other discount rentals. This rental was pre-booked and well-organized to receive the car once I arrived. The car was clean and drove beautifully. Finding the return lot was a bit more challenging. More signs would be helpful, but I did find it on my first drive around. Overall a pleasant experience. FYI: It's quite a distance to get to the new Terminal A at Newark. Expect at least a 15-20 minute walk/shuttle after returning the car.Reviewed 5 Apr. 2023

Despite providing both Kayak and Sixt my flight arrival time into EWR, the Sixt rental counter desk was closed and I was unable to retrieve the car I had reserved and pre-paid. Fortunately, the other major rental car brand desks were open and I rented elsewhere. Thus far Sixt has resisted refunding their $400+ charge.
