The staff in Seattle (pick up location) didn’t honor the reservation. We book a bmw suv, but he was going to give me a 4 doors sedan, a much smaller car. His excuse was that they didn’t have the suv I booked. He said I either get a smaller car or he would cancel my reservation. I asked him if I could talk to his manager but he was rude and waked away. He walked back 5 minutes later and said he checked but there was still no suv. He sternly said if I didn’t like the smaller car, he would cancel my reservation and stated I had no other options. I once again said if he didn’t give me the suv I booked I would report him to kayak since he wouldn’t let me talk to his manager. He then realized I wouldn’t give in so he finally gave me the suv I booked. His excuse was that the car wasn’t available earlier. However, he also gave me the option earlier if I wanted the suv, I would have to pay more. The car was obviously there the entire time but he didn’t want to honor my reservation. It was the worse experience I ever had with a rental car company. I couldn’t pick up the car until 45 minutes later than my reservationReviewed 14 Nov. 2022

My pick up was made for Sea Tac but when I got there with 2 children and 6 bags, I was told that my reservation was for downtown Seattle, and I would have to take the train, that was not an option, the young lady at the counter took her time to help me and got the reservation transferred to sea tac, was so very grateful. I will never go through Kyack again. During the process of my reservation the location of the rental was changed by the system. When I called Kayak k to get this resolved, I was told to contact Sixt. Sixt told me there was nothing I could do and to contact Kayak.Reviewed 7 Jun. 2022

Pros:We realized there was a crack on the windshield and a couple dents after we drove the car out of the lot. It was a rainy night and we did not want to go through the hassle of driving all the way back and ask for another car. We had hoped that these items were recorded and when we return we would not be dinged for it. Unfortunately The lady who was checking the car back in would not believe us and added the damages as a report on our record.Cons:Empathy and trust are crucial in the competitive service industry. Cons:They made money off my error. I missed the pickup and drop off location in Seattle on third. And thought it was at SEATAC rental car facility. I immediately tried to call and change it. But I had to pay for 3 days rental. I cannot recommend them or KAYAK.Reviewed 15 Oct. 2020

Pros:Van ran well.Cons:Not the car I reserved. Not clean with 3 used water bottles, dirty cup holders and a miscellaneous chalky type ball that was left in the car. There is no one at the entrance to take the return. Upon entering the pick up area to inform them that no one was at the return, they told me to go back to the return where there was someone cooking his drugs on his tin foil and subsequently shooting up in broad daylight at the entrance to the returns.Reviewed 30 Aug. 2020

Pros:The car was very clean.Cons:With everything that is going on in capital hill right now, I did not want to have to go back to capital hill to return the vehicle. I explained this to Sixt and asked if I could please return the car at the end of the rental at the airport instead (20 min away) and they would not let me do this without charging me $67 for the “change in drop off location”. The funny thing is that the staff at that Sixt location were telling me how no one was renting there since the hotel was closed so they kept having to drive cars over to the airport location. I was extremely disappointed that the company was concerned more about charging more fees than the safety and comfort of their customers. I am never going to rent from Sixt again after this bad experience.Reviewed 3 Aug. 2020
