Pros: The car was good. The young people checking in and out were great!
Cons: Salesman at checkout was too much of a hard sell! We didn't like his demeanor at all. Car didn't have a full tank of gas when we got it. Finally, when we got the car not all of the marks and scratches were noted on the sheet. If we didn't make an issue of it or noticed, we would have been liable to pay for damage that wasn't ours. Seemed like they were potentially ready to scam us from several angles. We won't try to do business with them in the future if we have options.

Pick up convenience, drop off in convenience!
Pros: Before arriving in Tampa I received notification on who to reach for a shuttle. Shuttle arrived promptly. Vehicle delivery went smoothly and the customer service agent was professional.
Cons: Wasn't told the correct address of where I was to drop off my vehicle. Thought it was in side of airport and was finally told it was outside of airport. Also, I received an additional tax charge of $102 from the drop off location. I shouldn't have to incur that cost as it is a courtesy drop off for Sixt customers who have an early flight.

Cons: Renting from kayak was easy enough, but when I needed to edit my trip details it was a complete hassle. Kayak couldn't do anything to help me, calling SIXT didn't work and finding the email address and waiting for a response was tiresome. In order to change reservation details, you require a reservation code that is specific to SIXT, but when renting from Kayak that information is not given. Another thing I didn't like is that they put an extra $$$ hold on my account when I received the car. This meant I had to pay for the rental twice over. The hold did disappear, however, I wish someone would've told me the purpose of the hold beforehand and that there was going to be a hold. Another $$$ issue is that the price you pay upfront is not the final price. At the end, I had to pay extra money for weird fees unrelated to the rental of the car (it was less than $20 but still, I was under the impression that I had paid for everything upfront. I've rented through other companies before and didn't have this issue). Overall, I was satisfied with my rental but highly dissatisfied about the customer service experience and the lack of information that they offered me. I don't feel like I got the value for my money and that the experience itself wasn't honest. In the future, I would not rent a car through Kayak again and definitely would avoid SIXT due to irregular communication and dishonesty concerning $$$.

Pay tolls 5$ for transaction
Pros: Car was ok
Cons: Tolls were $1.50 but your transaction was five dollars that's a rip off
