Sydney hotels near World Square Shopping Centre

Pros: We had originally rented an apartment in Sydney. However, due to construction at night, we had to relocate. We found a great rate at the Raddisson Blu and booked it. We enjoyed the last few nights of our vacation in a beautiful and comfortable room. The hotel staff was very helpful and the hotel was spotless. We would definitely stay there again!

Pros: Staff are really nice and helpful, the food is amazing onsite hot tub and pool are nice massage and facial were really good, although I don't think the staff are qualified

Cons: 1)I wasn't told until last minute that our hotel was nominated to be a COVID 19 hotel, this meant people returning overseas or possible carriers of COVID were made to isolate in this hotel, both my mum and I have low immunity putting us at high risk. 2) the beds weren't comfortable. 3) I was told I couldn't park at the hotel, but rather 200m up the road from it and normal this wouldn't have bothered many people except I have asthma and a bad back, my mother has arthritis so it was a very unpleasant walk back to the hotel after we parked 3A) DONT PARK IN THE WILSON'S PARKING LOT: it is narrow, people going up the ramps DO NOT GIVE A F*** if your coming down the will cut the corners because they have to and the spaces are very small 4) the steam room is just that, a room full of very hot (like over the top) heat, boiling water that drips from the roof and a vent that if your not careful WILL burn you, unlucky for me a little boy had been in before me and decided to make it his toilet this wasn't a 5-star experience, I didn't want to judge harshly because of COVID etc but for the price, it could have been better

Cons: Would have liked to be informed that the hotel had travellers in quarantine!!!

Pros: Very roomy bathroom with nice deep bath. Great water pressure in shower. Comfortable bed.

Cons: Pillows were very flat but asked for more and a variety were delivered to my room.

Pros: Convenient location to city attractions.

Cons: Breakfast prices were way too high. I paid $158 U.S. dollars and the breakfast prices were $18 to $26 US dollars. Overall I enjoyed my stay as the room was clean, quiet and comfortable.

Cons: The breakfast was very disappointing the buffet wasn’t available so we only had couple of choices on the menu I got the continental breakfast which was all pre made cold and even the croissant didn’t look fresh. Also the only waiter there didn’t offer any water and we had to ask even for the sugar for our coffee which they weren’t very nice .next time I won’t be having breakfast there again

Pros: Close to harbour and CBD. Staff friendly and helpful from check in to check out. Room clean comfortable and modern.

Pros: Stayed at the Radisson for one night on our way inbound from Canada to Melbourne. Lovely hotel, in the heart of the CBD. Close to the Harbour and ferries, the Opera House, slight trek to Darling Harbour but very central. Rooms were clean, modern and spacious. Also, took advantage of the breakfast buffet before or flight the next morning which was quite good but pricey $25per. The porters were exceptional, always attentive and helpful with the baggage. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Cons: Only a couple of hiccups, we arrived in the morning and even though check in was at 3pm they said we could check in at 1130am. When we went to pick up our room keys they kept putting us off with “ready in 5 minutes” until noon. Just tell us noon, we would have gone for a walk. While we were waiting in the lounge for our room there was some construction going on in the restaurant, didn’t make for the best of atmospheres.

Pros: CLOSE PROXIMITY TO ALL MAIN ATTRACTIONS.

Cons: bed is old, sags in middle. Room is old, needs a refurb. "Atrium" means no view at all.

Cons: We asked to hotel concierge for the morning call at 5:30am, but we did not get any phone call from the hotel concierge. Ii is indeed disaponted. I hardly miss the international fight.

Pros: Lovely room and great location. Upgraded, but that cost $60 per night.

Pros: the hotel is ideally located with shops, attractions and ferries all within easy walking distance. Staff were very helpful. The breakfasts were superb. Room was very clean tidy and well maintained. Sound proofing was good. All the staff from the room ladies, concierge, doorman, reception, cooks and anyone else we encountered were so helpful and friendly.

Pros: Fantastic hotel located perfectly for Circular Quay, Botanic Gardens and other central Sydney attractions. Very nice room with modern facilities in hotel.

Pros: I struggled with the best location to serve as home base in Sydney and the Swissôtel was perfect to hit all the top attractions while also being close to a train stop from the airport. Additionally, it was an easy walk to other neighborhoods like Surrey Hills and close to a Big Bus stop.

Cons: The only thing i can think that wasn’t stellar was the tv station selection in the room. That’s hardly a reason to select any hotel- just a way to wind down before bed. The pros far outweigh this one con :)

Pros: The view was great. The hotel was very quiet, though that could be because it was empty!

Cons: The entertainment selections on the TV were terrible. $35 to watch a movie? We wanted to plug in our Nintendo for our son but even though we brought our own HDMI cable, the TV couldn’t be switched from its boring selections.

Pros: Inspite of repeated follow up ..swimming pool wasn't heated and my kid was left disappointed.

Cons: As mentioned above..we extended our stay to use the pool and we requested few times to get the pool heated up but nothing happened.

Pros: Everything from the moment we arrived to the concierge was fantastic and very helpful especially after a long trip. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming great job would highly recommend to our friends family.

Pros: The location and the staff are about the only likeable characteristics of this hotel.

Cons: I paid $249 for an Advantage room requsted 2 double beds only to be told on checkin that the room only had one double bed. I then had to pay $50 to upgrade to an Executive room (a better room apparently) I failed to see the value which also included free drinks at the bar from 5.30-7.30 and breakfast which was the worst I have experienced at any hotel.

Pros: perfect, with a first class concierge service

Pros: Excellent central location, walkable to harbour and train station and monorail close by. 14 dollar by train to airport

Pros: Very good, spacious bathrooms with a separate shower.

Cons: Overall, hotels in Sydney are quite expensive.

Pros: Totally I evaluate this hotel better than Grace Hotel nearby.

Cons: Hotel's dining, serving Indian dishes every night is bit tiresome for the guest staying 10 days like me.
