The staff and customer service were always friendly and courteous, however I did get mixed messages from various members of the team. The end cost at the counter was more than double the original quoted price. The car itself had a weak battery and refused to start in cold weather. This made me have to decide whether to call for emergency service and lose a day with my family getting a new car or be without a functional car when the weather was below 50 degrees.Reviewed 5 Jan. 2023

Everything was great except the person who checked me in. He was extremely rude without any reason, as if I were not a customer who paid for the car. He was loud and with a scolding tone when I handed him my driver license and debit card. My driver license is broken from the top, so he started playing with it with his hand causing it to get worst. When I calmly asked him to just take the information without tampering with it, he said good luck if they allow you out of the lot. When he took my debit card, he told me about the security deposit in a demanding way, as if I didn’t use it before or I didn’t know the process. I kept my calm in order not to complicate things, I asked my kids to go sit at the back benches so they don’t have to witness his disrespectful manners, and I walked away to the lot after he finished the transaction without commenting. I understand he probably had a rough day, and I hope this is not the case every day because it affects sales of the organization in the long run. I didn't take this car because the line to pick it up was an hour long and I didn't have that kind of time to spare. It's one thing to offer Thrifty pricing to get consumers to buy; it's quite another if you can't deliver with timely service.Reviewed 2 May 2022

The rental place was closed before we even landed. It was never explained to us so we went to go pick it up then we had to get a taxi to our hotel instead. Then when we went the next day to pick it up they never offered to refund any part of reservation even though they were not there. Not sure how we they can take a reservation then not be there.
