Beverages were offered once from Vancouver to Toronto. I forgot to fill my water bottle so was quite thirsty.
The flight should have check the weather conditions before it take off.
The airline did not tell me about a special form I had to have filled out and that the Korean government had to accept. Because of that I lost my flight and I lost my ticket. Canadian airlines should have told me I needed an ETA form and I have to send it to Korea and it has to be accepted and returned. I got to the airport at 4:00 a.m. and by 5:20 it had not returned yet and so I lost everything. This was a very important trip to me and now I'm really upset and disappointed and so sad that I didn't get to go. I think the airline should tell you if there's some form that you have to fill out. I looked on the internet and didn't see anything about this and didn't know anything about it until I got to the airport. Then I called Canadian airlines and they just wanted to show me another ticket but this ticket was much more expensive and then he convinced me to cancel the ticket when actually the agent could have put me on a later flight. It was and he is one of the worst experiences I've ever had

Cons: "They didn’t put enough fuel in the tank and the pilot only noticed when we were next in line to take-off so that led to a 30 minute delay. Some terrible seat designer put the call button and light control on the armrest exactly where your elbow rests so every few seconds you would here a call bell."

Cons: "We had a 5:35 am flight and the plane was 1/2 hour late to gate. By the time it got there, we spent over 1 hour sitting at gate loaded up waiting for weather to clear. It was fine when it was supposed to be there. Therefore, this was not initially a weather issue. Our connecting flight is 12 hours after Our schedules flight. I have a 1 year old toddler. Customer service rep less than sympathetic personality."

Cons: "My flights were so behind I missed my connection for Toronto to Tel Aviv and was rerouted to London and then Frankfurt but the plane was late getting there as well. Air canada had no crew on the ground and over and hour wait for customer service on the phone so i had no way to find out what my reticketing status was. I was passed off to numerous other airlines and sent through the airport to the incorrect terminals in heathrow causing another missed flight. Air canada did not accept the responsibility to maintain my reservation and get me to my destination efficiently. Even when I spoke with a phone representative the person was rude and never sent confirmation of my flights so I had no reference point for flight numbers or air lines. All of his added up to more than 13 hours of delays on what was already a 24 hour trip. Worst travel experience of my life."

Cons: "The way I was treated upon my landing in Toronto. When I missed my flight I had to stay at the airport from 10:30pm until 9:30am and there was nothing offered. No place to sleep or any compensation for food. I spoke with others that had food vouchers and others got toiletries. I'm not impressed."
Pros: "The speed of the flight to Canada and then to Tokyo was excellent. The room and the boarding crew on the plane were all awesome. The only complaint I had was about the food. I think they were going for more of a regional food choice flying to Tokyo. But the "snack" of a Cup of Ramen noodles seemed like a slap in the cultural face. I'm American and felt a little offended by the Ramen Noodles. But other than that the experience was awesome!"

Pros: "I flew through Vancouver from Boston on my way to Brisbane, Australia and back. I was nervous at first because of the 2 hour connection windows. This might be a testament to Vancouver Airport more than Air Canada, but the flight home after an initial 14 hour flight was pain free. Boarding was fast (the flight wasn't full) and we ended up pulling away from the terminal early. I slept most of the flight so I can't really comment on food. The entertainment was the same as when i left for Australia, which was ok. It had a decent variety to select from."

Cons: "To begin, our flight was delayed an hour into Toronto. We asked the flight attendant about our connecting flight and they said they would find an answer. It ended up that we landed just as the flight was scheduled to leave. Why they could delay pur flight but would not hold another flight by 20 minutes is very questionable. Then we got to customer service, the rep told us that we could only get on the next flight going out tomorrow at the same time which meant 24 hours lost. Of our vacation- which hotels already booked and tours already booked. When I asked if there was anyway we could get in earlier the service person told me "I should be grateful because some people have had to wait multiple days to get to their destinations." When we finally did board the flight the next day we were not served any food, no snacks, and no drink for the entire overnight flight."

Cons: "Tried to sell seat selection for $11 each way per person. Really awful policy for a 38 minute flight in a small plane. Don't get caught on that one."
Cons: "The temperature fluctuated like crazy. Upon entering it was fire hot. Then became ice cold then fire hot again. It felt like there was something wrong with the plane. The plane also lqasnt cleaned before we boarded. It just landed with another flight then we boarded."
Cons: "I could not travel due to the fact that Im pregnant and it is of really high risk and the airline did not help me. I lost my money and could not even get a credit to travel later."
Cons: "They changed our chosen seats so we had to sit in the middle. No complimentary food or snacks served on a 5 hour flight. It would have been good to know that ahead of time so we could have brought something to eat for lunch."

Lastly, we purchased the tickets together, when we checked in, our seats were not together on both the flight to and from Italy, thankfully other people switched seats with us. When we asked the flight crew at the desk to switch seats, they couldn't both times. We definitely will not be flying Air Canada in the future."

I was unable to download the Air Canada app before the flight due to very weak airport internet, and then was unable to rent an iPad because only credit cards were accepted: not cash or debit, or even VISA debit cards. As for boarding, the departing gate kept changing and being removed from the screen before the flight; also there was a 30 min boarding delay."
