Boarding was a breeze. I like that they offered to check carry-ons. Considering we already had checked luggage it just made things that much easier. Drink options were good. I especially liked the bloody Mary mix with the lime packet. That was so delicious! Used to traveling other airlines where they have individual screens for each seat. Alaska does it different and you have to have your own device in order to access their media content.

But I would’ve had to cancel and repurchase for an additional $200!!!"

Pros: "Flying Alaska airlines is always something I have a bittersweet relationship. I love almost everything that Alaska does to improve their airline. Their wifi is some of the best in the US and its very affordable. Their "picnic box" snacks are awesome and unique, better than what you will find elsewhere, they have USB and full AC outlets at every seat, and their rewards program is the best in the business. By all accounts, AlaskaAir would be my favorite airline out there. But the staff that Alaska hires is just so terrible. Everytime I fly with them, they have simply the worst staff. Pair this with some of the best features of any airline and it leaves me scratching my head on whether or not I want to fly with them or to fly with an airline like Delta which might have fewer frills, but offers much better staff to help you."

Pros: "This was our first time using Alaska Airlines and they were great! Checking in online was easy. Flight attendants and other staff were friendly and seemed to have your best interest in mind. My husband and I had a 20 hour layover in LA coming back from Costa Rica and we asked if we would have to pay another fee to recheck our bag for the second flight. They were very understanding and waived the fee since our overnight stay in LA was technically a layover and we had previously made the whole reservation for both flights at once using their company. Overall we liked our experience with Alaska and would definitely use them again!"

I've never had that happen before -- great. I will fly Alaska again."
Cons: "My only complaint was with check-in. I used the self-serve kiosk, which was easy to follow and efficient. The problem arose when I needed to check my bag. The computer instructs the passenger to go to the "baggage drop-off area," which I did. However, there was nobody there to receive my bag or to check my ID and give me a boarding pass. There was staff helping other customers at the "full-service" area, and I tried to get their attention. All I got in return was a head shake "no." This was especially frustrating since one of the staff members was observing other staff -- not actually working the computer to check in customers. I understand that she may not be able to leave her post to operate another post, but it seems reasonable to walk the mere 10 feet over to me to explain that I am in the right area and someone will assist me shortly. I ended up getting in line, which defeats the purpose of the kiosk, only to see a staff member show up to the drop off area. Going back, everything went fine from there."

Cons: "This flight was for my wife and I's honeymoon and it was a miserable experience. The flight was delayed by several hours with no specific expectation of when it would actually leave. We were just continually told “soon”, “shortly”, “in an hour” all night long. If we were given a specific time then we could have planned on at least trying to sleep for a little while. It wouldn’t have been near the same inconvenience if it was during the day except it was during night when no stores were open to buy food or a pillow to try and sleep. The airline wasn’t able to get any pillows or blankets for us. Luckily we still made it on our cruise before it left but with no sleep it left us pretty miserable trying to recuperate from that night."

I know it's not my headphones because I had just used it before boarding for both my Nintendo and computer. Also, the buttons for the TV are on the armrest and if you try to get comfortable you'll change the channel. When the flight attendant came around she just propped a bunch of stuff in front of us and since it was dark I had no idea what I was looking at, ended up getting a very crappy bag of chips. Overall was a terrible experience flying JetBlue."

The leg room was a great surprise. No hassle with bags. Great snacks, wi-fi and movies for FREE! I was so tickled. I've never flown JetBlue. I thought it was just another low-cost airline that makes you pay for everything , what a nice surprise! I immediately gave you a shout-out on my facebook account. I have flown hundreds of times and have zero fear of flying. Today, I was terrified that the power would shut off mid-flight at any moment. I truly wish we'd been given another plane...i know that's tough. But something along those lines would have been better than stepping back on the one that shut down with all of us in it...after waiting for hours for it to be repaired. I do appreciate the $150 coupon though."

Cons: "My plane boarded 20 minutes late. Jetblue forgot to de-ice the plane so we missed our takeoff spot and left an hour and a half late. We arrived in SLC over 2 hours late, and then proceeded to wait 20 minutes for an open gate. The entire flight I was seated next to an elderely couple that were making out literally on top of me. When placing my overhead bag, one of the straps were caught in the lock mechanism. Instead of the flight attendant moving my strap and closing the bin, she gave me attitude and told me to fix it myself. 2 hours into the flight i wished to sleep, but my television display was broken. As a result, the brightness of the screen was on the max setting the entire trip. The last two hours of my flight I spent dealing with a headache because the rest of the plane was dark, and the display was half a foot from my face. To top off my horrible experience, the row across from me, and the row in front of me, had a screaming infant which wailed the entire flight long. I will never fly with Jetblue again, and will advise anyone considering it to pick a different airline."

Was receiving alerts beginning from that morning notifying of delays which continued as I waited at the airport that night. This seems to happen frequently and nothing is ever done to make it up to travelers. On the plane, the audio for the tv had static so you couldn't actually hear anything. It doesn't seem like you can turn the tvs off, which is annoying as they emit light, so if you want to sleep you have to deal with the light from your tv."

Cons: "I have never had so much trouble with a website/app as with JetBlue for this trip. Checking in was super stressful, since it was a short layover and I had to go through customs. There were few employees to help when I couldn't print my boarding pass, and when I handed my already checked bag off (it was checked through) without a boarding pass the JetBlue employee was extremely passive aggressive and acted like it was somehow my fault I hadn't been able to get it printed and there had been no one around to ask. The flight crew was highly professional and the flight was good, but I was pretty disappointed by customer service on the ground."

Wasn't a very good selection of entertainment. The chairs were a bit uncomfortable.

Had a crying baby the whole flight. When we arrived at the gate we had to wait for the gangway.

We paid for preferred seating for extra leg room. On 3of the 4 flights the preferred seating were regular seats with no extra leg room. It was deceitful to advertise those seats at preferred seating. I would not have wasted my money paying extra had I known what I was getting.

It was hard to hear the PA announcements for boarding. Maybe also post the info on the screen? Or allow the attendant to pull down his mask when speaking into the PA system?

Don’t give me a chair that can’t lean back. I got one in both legs of my flight. And I know I did not select those seats.

Cons: "Three hour delay due to wiring issues, cramped seating that made it impossible to get even the most basic of maps, and our flight attendant was upset that we didn't notify them that we were vegans in advance. We didn't know that they had vegan options, and weren't upset about not eating the in-flight meals. She was much more upset about it than we were and it made me uncomfortable refusing the food that I knew I couldn't eat. Other passengers even asked us if we had eaten anything. It was almost embarrassing."

To start off, i was flying with two other people and we were not able to get seats together, and the whole seating process with delta is really difficult even when I had called weeks in advance to see if they could try and seat us together. I understand with main cabin tickets you can only choose your seat as you check in, but it would be nice to be able to request seating with a person/group you are flying with. I was placed in the very back row of a busy flight, and noticed that the horrible smell from the bathrooms which made it unpleasant. As said above, I normally have a pleasant experience.. but being a delta sky member I feel as though i do not really receive any differences as to a non-member. Pros: "Flew premium economy/delta comfort + and was a great flying experience. A taste of business without the $3000+ ticket price. Food was excellent, a huge step above economy. Extra comfort with wider seats. And priority boarding as well. This was more like premium economy that you get with European airlines. For long haul flights, well worth the cost. Flight was delayed 2 hours, but Delta had their own special route in Shanghai airport to bypass a lot of the crowds either transferring or checking in for fight. I wouldn’t have made my connecting flight if they hadn’t. Plus my checked bags went straight thru to my final destination in china,n instead of having to pick up and re-check them in Shanghai."

Called HoJo’s to confirm they had non-smoking rooms available. Got on the hotel’s shuttle bus and the driver announced that HoJo was full and all voucher holders would go to Rodeway Inn but those without vouchers would go to HoJo....huh!?? Called HoJo and the same person I’d spoken to 20 mins prior said it was correct, that Rodeway was a sister property. The Rodeway Inn Metro Airport is pretty disgusting. This is my opinion after coming from remote Mexico and extensive travel in Africa. It should be torn down. Delta/HoJo should not send customers there."

The flight attendants seemed first disbelieving and later unconcerned that no air came out of our vents. I doubt they even reported them as broken after the flight. Delta's new boarding process is absolute chaos. More than half the plane had no seats assigned until 20 minutes before boarding, and the seats were displayed on a screen a good 25 feet away from the gate, meaning people had to constantly walk back and forth between the doorway and the screen. The gate agents were clearly overwhelmed. If this is how Delta is organized now, I won't be flying on them again."

Cons: "For some reason, the pilot couldn't figure out how to adjust the cabin temperature for the first hour or so. This made the flight (and I was sitting in an exit row seat, right by the door which is usually cooler) uncomfortably hot and muggy. Food? No food. Thank goodness for Delta Lounge (even if it was the one in PHL). Just snacks make this a poor option for many. I don't know what is up, but the USB charger on the two monitors didn't work and neither did the outlet between the seats. And I have two different sets of cables "just in case" and they're the 3-in-1 so I can try to charge multiple devices (Apple, Android and Samsung) but nothing worked."
Pros: "Even though we were in the very back row, we did not experience a foul smell from the restrooms. This was a very nice relief. It is bad enough that the seats don't recline and there is no window in the very back row but prior experience with the added nausea of foul restroom order has been a serious insult to injury. In this case there was really minimal odor. Also since we are traveling as a family we are very happy that we were seated together. We have experienced the past that sometimes our seats will be fragmented and that creates major challenges when you are traveling with young children. However on this particular flight the ride was rough during both takeoff and landing, a lot of side to side shimmy. Also the cabin pressure varied quite a bit during landing causing all the kids to complain about some discomfort in their ears."

I tried many times to call CSA LA office using toll free and regular number, but could never speak to a human. Last November 7 I missed my flight home due to the Thai King's motorcade causing the road I was on to be closed for more one hour. I arrived at the CNXairport nearly one hour before the scheduled departure time, only to find CSA check in counters already closed. CSA Bangkok made me pay for a one way ticket home on Nov 8 even though all 3 flights were not full. I arrived well I'm advance and checked in. CSA began boarding 30 minutes before the time shown on my boarding pass and closed the aircraft doors shortly aftethe boarding time listed. No wonder I missed my Nov 7 flight! I wrote CSA LA a letter including the receipt for the one way ticket and requested a refund or at least a reply or home call. I never received a reply. I have flown CSA/Delta from Detroit, MI to Chiang Mai, Thailand 5 or 6 times in the last 3 years. It seems they don't care about customer loyalty. In the future CSA will not be my first choice and I will pay somewhat more to fly another airline."

I realized the flight was technically operated not by WestJet, but Gojet. Went to Gojet's website and was told that Delta took care of all of their ticketing and such. Went to Delta's website, entered my ticket number and card number but I was not in the system as I was given all WestJet info (not Delta's). Luckily the baggage check in people figured it all out."

I then called the guy that scanned my bags back over to ask why I was still standing there while my next flight was about to board and he told me I'd been rebooked!! I didn't want to wait for the next flight so then had to sprint, with my bags, from terminal 2 to 7 (which if you've ever walked through LAX you'd understand how unpleasant that was alone). I did make the flight, but just, thanks only to the girls at the checkout counter who were actually willing to help me, although not eager to."

I paid for the entertrainment system but you have only some options and the movies start according to their own schedule so you can't really pick what you want to watch. And the directv remotes are not set in a good place, the are in the arm rest, so everytime the person next to you moves the wrong way they change your channel or turn the volume down or something else. For such an expensive and long flight the tiny space between chairs and entertainment lack is unacceptable."

I was put on a standby list for a flight leaving later that night and I didn't get it. I was told I had to wait until 7am the next morning to get on a flight. After asking, I was given a hotel, cab, and 2 food vouchers. The taxi took me to the hotel united chose. I got there and there were no vacancies. I had to pay for my own taxi to a different hotel that luckily took my voucher for the other hotel. after all this mess I only got 2 hours sleep. The 7am flight waited for its connecting flights. This delay cost me a third of my trip and money on my first night at my hotel."

I should've researched Frontier a little better. There is a charge for carry-on luggage and a charge for your seat assignment. The flight was delayed 1 hour with no notice at the gate and there was no Frontier representative at the gate until it was time to board.

Cons: "The flight was delayed twice after boarding, we had to sit in the plane for almost 2 hours. I dont think frontier is worth the price anymore, you definatley get what you pay for. I had to check a bag both ways because a checked bag is cheaper than their fee to carry on a bag. There were no complimentary drinks or snack even after having to sit on the plane for so long. I requested an aisle seat and got stuck in the middle. Overall, think I will be paying the extra for any other airline than frontier."

Given the amount of time for security and early check-in protocol, I could have rented a car and only arrived an hour later to my destination without having to endure this flight."

At least delta has TV or United has snack options or American has decent leg room. Didn’t like either Frontier plane I flew on. Now I know for the future, it’s not as cheap as I thought."

Save yourself money and frustration and NEVER FLY FRONTIER AIRLINES!!!!!!!"

Arm rests are half the size of the usual, and tray tables are also half the size! If you're on the plane for an hour flight, it's do-able, but any longer than that, you'll be miserable. For the record, I'm tall and thin, and I felt squished sideways."

Cons: "After a 10 hour layover, they stopped the boarding process because a toilet malfunctioned and we had to wait another 45 minutes. The lack of complimentary beverages was pretty annoying as well, especially considering that after buying my tickets, I spent an additional $75 on checking bags as well as another $50+ to choose my seats at on-line check in. Of course nowhere did it mention that if I simply checked in at the airport instead of doing it online beforehand, I could be assigned seats and it wouldn't cost me anything. I drop $1000+ on airfare, checked bags, and sneaky extra fees, and you can't even give me a $.50 can of soda for free? I've flown Frontier before, but the customer service has gone downhill in the past few years. I will never use this airline again and I encourage others to do the same. They're providing an inferior service and staying in business by offering "cheaper airfair" which they make up for by tacking on exorbitant luggage fees, sneaky online fees, and neglecting customer comfort."

The thing that irks me about Frontier is that every time we fly we have to pay for bags, whether they are checked or carried on. It makes the cheap flight deceptively more expensive compared to the other airlines and you have to pay for them separately. Lose-Lose"
Cons: "No real complaints about the flight, HOWEVER, Frontier's luggage handlers (probably in Denver) ruined a piece of my luggage. I got home very late and didn't notice the problem until the next morning. I checked their baggage policy and noticed there was a four-hour window to report lost or damaged luggage, so I was out of luck on a $100 piece of luggage. I recognize damage can be caused by any airline, but when you have to pay to check a bag AND carry one on, you would think you'd be given more than four hours to report a problem."
Cons: "I've never felt more taken advantage of by a company than I have for Frontier airlines. I purchased my ticket on a tight budget, only to find that the cost more than doubled from fees when I arrived at the airport. I was expecting to pay extra for a checked bag, but have never flown with an airline that also charges $40 for an overhead bag. I ended up spending more on luggage than my actual ticket (2 bags), which turned what would have been the cheapest flight option, into the most expensive. They also have a seat fee- yet another last minute slap-to-the face charge."

Cons: "The attendants in the airport at DTW weren't very friendly and throw luggage on the conveyor belt not taking into consideration people's belongings. Also the cost of bags and having to pay additionally for the seat is ridiculous. I would have rather pay a little more for a ticket for a nicer plane and be able to take my carry-on And my purse for free. I actually payed more with the cost of a ticket, bags and seat than a flight out with another airline. Both flights I took PHX-DTW and back were both significantly delayed. The seats were uncomfortable and tight. This is the first and last time flying with Frontier airlines."
Pros: "At least I did not have to wait on the tarmac for 4.5 hours like I did in Denver."
Cons: "the aft steward was a power-hungry tyrant. He kept telling me to get into my seat which was occupied. When that could not be resolved, he told me to get out of the aisle so others could board. I was in the penultimate row and the people in my row needed to move to the last row. So who was I blocking from boarding? Also, the flight was extremely turbulent and not one seat in the last 4 rows had barf bags. As I deplaned, it looked as if 10-12 others did not have them either - - good luck cleaning that plane. The seats are sized for 5-yr olds. And lastly - you stick it to passengers with all the non-disclosed fees."

Cons: "Very uncomfortable seats. A plastic chair with barely a 1/4" foam on it. Smallest tray tables ever- probably for the drink and snacks they charge you for. Not roomy at all. And more expensive than my other flight- only reason I took this one was because it was the only non stop flight to SLC. Paid $357 then was charged an additional $60 to pick my seat and for a carry on- what the heck was the $357 for?? Not to mention the plane was dirty- I guess they didn't have time to clean it between flights- not the crews fault I guess. I will go out of my way to avoid frontier from now on. It was my first and last flight with them. I'll take my chances on the plane they transported the Ebola patient in from overseas. How are companies with this many low ratings still in business?"

Cons: "one crew member (aft steward) was a little tyrant. I was waiting for a seating error/confusion to be resolved and he kept harping to get out of the aisle and take my seat (which was occupied). He then closed all the overheads when we were half boarded - making new arrivals scrambling for storage. Also, all the hidden fees!! I paid 1 1/2 times my airfare in more fees. I'll fly another airline before choosing you again. I have flown over 500,000 miles in the past 20 years and this was the worst."
Cons: "The flight was canceled after was it delayed when they already knew there was no flight team available. How horrible is that? How do you keep 120 people waiting for hours and then cancel when you knew you could not have a team available. I will never fly them again and you shouldn't either."

Cons: "Booked over Kayak which did not inform me of the excessive charges for things like booking seats or carry-on luggage. In addition, the new Airbus planes have seats that do not recline, made of rigid foam padding, and tray tables that are smaller than an iPad Mini. There was no food or beverage without an extra fee. There was no entertainment. Frontier would be a lot further ahead if it worked with services like Kayak to report consistent cost of fairs compared to other vendors. The bottom line is that this is the last time I fly Frontier, and the last time I book using Kayak."
Pros: "Prices we're good. The on flight staff was friendly, it's unfortunate that you have to pay extra for non alcoholic drinks and carry on bags. Gone are the days of cheap flights AND honey roasted peanuts. But I guess that's the trade off for cheap airfare now a days."
Cons: "On our departing flight my husband and I had gotten us and our 4 kids up to the gate only to realize I had forgotten to add my lap child to my ticket. I get that it was not convenient but the lady was very short and rude and angry with us, she treated us like complete idiots. While it was an unfortunate thing to have slip my mind, it happens! I was bound to forget something when packing and prepping for me and 4 kids to travel. We offered to show our post on Facebook when our daughter was born as proof of age. But she gufawed that ridiculous idea. Because obviously we could have set up fake accounts and hacked the dates to make it look like our kids was under 2!! Really!?? A social security card doesn't even show birth dates. Anyway, the whole charade left us feeling very embarrassed, frustrated and like we were criminals or something. She handled things very unprofessionally and showed us no empathy whatsoever. She told us we would not be allowed onto our return flight without a ss card or birth cert. Which we got when we reached our destination. Upon boarding for the return flight the workers were great. They let us right on the flight and didn't even ask for the birth cert. or anything. They used common sense. Which is what I wished this other flight attendant had more of."

Cons: "Seats are like sitting on a piece of plastic and they don't recline, which was funny every time we landed or took off they would ask to have the seats put in the upright positions. The minimal savings you think you are going to have go away quickly when you find out you have to pay for a carry on and pay for a checked bag. Oh and you want a soda and a snack on your 3.5 hour flight? better be prepared to dish out for them as well. When you are getting on the plane they have billboards going down the walkway that say Featured on Frontier and Showing soon on Frontier, but no TVs to view on. No place to plug in your devices to charge like the other airlines I use."

Cons: "I contacted Frontier about a week before my flight to let them know my friend I was flying to visit had to make an emergency trip to see her father who was dying of liver failure. On the first attempt I was notified that only immediate family members were would be an excuse but that I could try to request through a different faucet of emergency circumstances. I put through another request and was never contacted. I did not fly to Salt Lake but I was still charged even though they could very well have sold my seat to another person and made double the money for the seat. I am very disappointed with the service I received from Frontier."

A bunch of BS. They charge for carry on. They charge for check in. They charge for your seat selection. They charge for any type of good or beverage on the plane. $2 just for a small cup of coffee. I am surprised they don't charge to use the restroom. All the money I thought I saved from flying Frontier was quickly used to pay all the extra fees."

Cons: "Both planes (departure and returning) were old, dirty, and I have sat in more comfortable metal folding chairs than the chairs on these planes. Frontier charges for everything. They charge for seats that recline, charge outrageously for reclining seats with a ting bit more leg room, their beverage service is not free, only water is not charged. No snacks either. Luggage that is considered carry on at any other airline is charged at $60 at the gate and the flight attendants pander and really push passengers to apply for their credit card. Horrible all the way around and we will NEVER fly Frontier again. Ever."
Pros: "There was no food and no entertainment. The flight was delayed 30 minutes. These are not criticisms, I did not expect food or entertainment, and delays happen. I'm just explaining the score I gave."

I understand things happen but rather than feeding me a line of bs about how it's only going to be "a little while longer" I would have rather have been told that the flight wouldn't board till three hours later. Because the flight was so late I missed my shuttle and ended up getting a cab which was an expensive toll I was less than pleased to pay. The plane seating itself is uncomfortable as all hell. Granted I'm 6'3" with a muscular build I could have chose a stretched seat but for a 1.5 hour flight I didn't think the extra fee was worth it. This and several other minor things have convinced me to never fly Frontier again so long as I can help it."

Cons: "Pretty much the experience. I had a pretty lengthy layover to begin with. The delayed flight was absurd. It doubled my layover with little to no notification as to when it was going . It is was pushed back 5 times with no announcements from any Frontier employees. Plus once the plane finally ended up showing up, the gate was staffed with one employee that was seriously overworked. Everything was delayed again. Once we boarded the plane, there was yet another delay from the maintenance crew and there was no estimated time for departure. This seriously is making me consider never flying Frontier again."
Cons: "I felt duped and deceived by the slimy nature of your airline not being upfront with its prices. $13 dollars to choose a seat??!? 40 FREAKING dollars just to WALK on the plane with my carry-on?? I thought Fronteir would be like other airlines but no, I had to pay $53 TWICE just to walk on the plane for my round trip flight. If my flight is going to be $106 more than what I paid on the ticket, then tell me upfront so I can know not to fly with you guys. And after all of that, being tricked into paying more than HALF of my ticket price in stupid hidden fees, your plane was cramped and austere, lacking the padded chairs, ample legroom, normal-sized tray tables, and conplimentary beverages available on countless other airlines. So I basically paid $100 extra for a cramped and uncomfortable flight. I was disappointed in your airline as a whole and will never be flying with Fronteir again."

Cons: "The hidden fees. I purchased a ticket not knowing that I would then have to pay for a seat! How ridiculous is that??? Did you expect I would hold on to a handle like on a subway??? If I purchase a ticket, I expect that to include a seat. Your ploy to attract people to purchase tickets, and then charge up the nose for even a seat as well as a carry on bag and peanuts, is not impressive. I will not purchase a ticket on Frontier again and I will definitely let my friends and family know that they will be paying just as much for Southwest if they do so. I'd rather know up front what the total charges will be. Very disappointed in this aspect of my purchase."
Cons: "Although there were warnings that "fees may be applied", I could not find how much those fees would be until 24 hours before my flight when I checked in. Before that, I had actively searched for how much I would be charged for my seat and my luggage both online and on the phone. No answers. I described this process to a lawyer who said there is possibility for a large class action lawsuit. I ended up having to pay $70 in fees (and will again on my flight back home -- probably -- again, there's no way for me to find out from Frontier until I check in). I don't mind fees, but they should be transparent. I will never fly Frontier again."
Pros: "The boarding and deplaning process was very fast. Most likely this is due to the fact that it is less expensive to check a bag than to carry one on, so there were way fewer bags overhead than on a typical flight with another airline."

What they don't explain is that you can check in at the airport and get your seat assignment (without paying extra) and leave it to chance, or pay for a seat reservation in advance. Water was free...that's it. You could buy "snacks" with a credit card only. We sat on the tarmac for 1/2 hour waiting for another flight to leave...this airline company feels new, like they are "flying by the seat of their pants"...in the long run, I paid the same amount as a more well known carrier, so I don't see the benefit to their "spare" and "more affordable" approach."
Cons: "Baggage drop lines were unbelievable. Foreign travelers were in the same line as domestic. There were only four agents to handle 100s of passengers. When I checked in online, to select a seat I had to pay an additional fee and then was also charged for my carry on bag which increased my fare by $68. In addition they do not participate in TSA precheck which further delayed my security process. Although I had allowed plenty of time (1 1/2 hours) to drop my bag and get through security by the time I got to my gate my flight was already boarding. Additionally you are charged for everything on the flight even water which for a 3 1/2 flight is ridiculous."

After all expenses there were no savings over other airlines (other airlines with better service and better jets). Frontier has NO TSA PRE CHECK PROGRAM!!! Initial flight it was a big nuisance, return flight it was even worse. The security line was at least a 2 hour wait. The Frontier flight in the gate next to us left without 25+ passengers because they were still in line at security. The flight: this was the roughest most frightening flight I've encountered. I found myself having to calm down the passenger next to me. We arrived 40 min late. Return trip: my luggage didn't appear and I had to file paperwork at the ticket desk on another floor. The 2 pieces of luggage were found and delivered to me 3 days after. Case closed. I don't mind the no-frills interior & seats that don't recline. I can bring my own snacks and beverages. But this airline disregards the value of my time."
Pros: "The staff was working very hard yet maintained cheerful attitudes after the previous day's wipe out of almost all flights due to a blizzard."
Cons: "Paying for a carry-on - really means that they are NOT competitive with other carriers. I was not aware of this and their other site (KAYAK, etc.) representatives need to VERY CLEARLY identify the carry-on charge policy. The time to process stand-bys was excessively long. It took over half an hour to process the stand-bys to allow our cabin door to close when we were already delayed 40 or so minutes. Also, 1) Notifications of delays were slow and 2) A warning to expect crowded ticket counter conditions would have been helpful."

Cons: "The flight was cancelled and could only be rescheduled via phone, which took over 3 hours. At that point, we had to pay $138 per person for a flight the following day. We also lost $90 for baggage and seat fees which was not reimbursed. I'm still in shock about how poorly this situation was handled by Frontier."

Pros: "I'd never flown frontier until this flight. I was very satisfied, with the exception being the lack of entertainment. I scored low because there wasn't any. That doesn't mean I was unhappy, as it was a three hour flight, and I'm perfectly capable of being screen free for a few hours. There was ample leg room, and the flight attendant staff was not only friendly, but funny and individual. One was even cracking jokes, which I loved. It keeps the stress of traveling off my mind. Additionally, the flight was fairly smooth, free of turbulence, and early arriving. I'll be flying frontier again for sure."
