The experience was great. A330 needs an upgrade between RDU and FRA and vice-versa.

The flight and service were very good. Thanks to the crew.

I wouldn't recommend Lufthansa otherwise. We took this flight only because our flight to Kittilä got cancelled and Lufthansa offered a replacement which would have been two days later, with a night in Frankfurt and another in Munich. We refused the replacement but the staff at the airport entered in the system claiming that we accepted the replacement.. We didn't get the full refund because of this.

Food service was good. Aircraft was old and needed upgrade such as seats. Flight was delayed about 1 hour.

Because of the fog at the Frankfurt airport, our flight was delayed leaving Budapest. We only had 20 minutes to get from A23 to C13. This was quite a walk for this not-so-young anymore lady--even with the help of moving sidewalks! We also had to go through passport control and then security. Germany is extra thorough, even doing pat-downs of all passengers. We got to our gate and I knew I had been randomly selected for extra security scanning because of the "SSSS" code on my boarding pass so I wasn't surprised when he escorted me back to security to be searched some more. The boarding gate gentleman assured me that they would hold the plane. The ladies in security rushed through the scanning process as fast as they could and we were able to make our flight to Orlando. The actual flight was smooth and comfortable. The food and service were excellent. The flight crew were friendly and efficient.

The plane was clean and the staff professional and courteous, as usual. The seat back was very hard and uncomfortable.

Less room on an international flight than domestic, which makes no sense as they are 8-9 hour flights. Completely uncomfortable and the food was terrible. Flying through Germany and having to stand in line for a passport check when you have a connection also makes no sense when you already did that prior to boarding. They had given some of our seats away because we were so late arriving to the connecting gate

Not helpful crew! With no care for passengers. No effort made to find the right food.

Smooth flight. Safe airline. Professional crew. Glitchy entertainment touch screen. So-so food. So-so seat padding.
