Pros: "they gave me the special food"
Cons: "My flight was late arriving in Toronto no fault of mine then the aircanada security took over an hour to get through then they had been paging me and were rude when I finally made it to the plane again not my fault. Did not deserve the attitude!!!"
Pros: "Crew was friendly and helpful on a very full airplane. They did their best to check on connections to let us know if we were going to miss our flights or not."
Cons: "Flight was delayed nearly an hour causing a very tight connection in Calgary."
Cons: "Connections to US destinations now require your checked in baggage to be processed before you can proceed to your connecting flights. The real problem is that this is no sign or communications describing this. Everyone is simply stopped in the corridor and told that they cannot proceed farther until their name comes up green on a monitor. Unfortunately the monitor switches displays so frequently that it is almost impossible to read. In addition to that it seems names do not always appear on the monitor unless you get your boarding pass scanned a the desk (this is not communicated to you unless you ask why your name is not on the monitor at all). People late for connecting flights (because of inbound flight delays) are required to wait without explanation sometimes needlessly if they don't have a checked bag. A nightmare if you're trying to make your connection. In addition once you've cleared that hurdle you need to go through security again (something we were unprepared for since we were already in the secure area. You then proceed to customs and then your connecting flight (if you haven't already missed it by then). Allow lots of time to get to your connecting flight, and ask to get you boarding pass scanned at that mysterious "checked bag" stop in the corridor."
Cons: "AC was late causing a missed connection to YXE. They were unable to rebook us to Saskatoon for two or three days! They offered standby or Edmonton as our only options. We flew to Edmontonand then drove 6 hours in order to get home for work with no sleep. Unimpressed."
Pros: "It was on time."
Cons: "I wish the entertainment system had had closed captioning, and/or that the inflight wifi had worked."
Pros: "Great service from flight attendants. Flight was smooth once airborne"
Cons: "Delayed Flight Seats seemed very small for an Air Canada Plane"
Pros: "The flight was on time and there was adequate foot room"
Cons: "No free snacks- biscuits or pretzels?"

Pros: "I liked everything. The crew was friendly and attentive and the food was excellent."
Cons: "Limited luggage space"
Pros: "The extra room on the exit row seat was definitely worth the premium!"
Cons: "The electrical outlet didn't work on my seat. Entertainment on the flight was a bit too pricey I thought as well!"
Cons: "the entertainment system on this leg of the flight didn't work at all! Give me a break!"
Cons: "No room. Cramped, impossible to sleep on an overseas flight"
Pros: "the app so you can choose your own movies"
Cons: "very crowded. snacks werent very good or healthy"
Pros: "The flight got me to my destination."
Cons: "Cramped seating."
Pros: "Had a flight out of LGA to Toronto after arriving on the red eye from Cali! The staff is amongst the best in the industry and love flying them! Polished, professional and courteous! For the money we pay to fly and be spoken to as if we're second rate citizens is absured and unacceptable. However every time I fly them, I find their employees make the entire experience a pleasure to fly! Thank you to the leadership team for empowering your staff and execution."
Cons: "Food can always be better but that's across the board!"
Pros: "Crew was friendly."
Cons: "My wife and I were seated in different rows."
Pros: "Early and informed consistently. Great experience."
Pros: "It was a direct flight."
Cons: "Most uncomfortable flight I can remember in last couple years. My knees were squeezed into the seat in front, and when they reclined, the seat was like 1.5 cellphone lengths from my face. The particular route from SD to Toronto squeezes 15 more seats on this popular plane, making it the least knee room I can remember. I wouldnt say Air Canada has less legroom as a generalization, but this route and plane assigned has the least. I guess if you're taller, do a little research on the planes for your routes. No actual wi-fi was kind of annoying. You can access some content, but no real internet connection."
Pros: "There's more leg space and better programming on Air Canada flights"
Cons: "Staff were rude, my headphone jack was broken on our way home, we boarded very late both directions."
Pros: "Crew was excellent."
Cons: "our original flight was canceled and they moved some of us (including me) to the next flight but many of those who were on my flight were not moved. So they were desperately trying to get on. Which made me feel as tho I got on by sheer luck. I hate how expensive the food is. I miss the wide selection of movies the international flight had."
Pros: "Friendly service."
Cons: "The time that I need to wait for my connections....I was traveling by myself with my two daughters 6 and 2 years old. And been honest wast pretty hard. Also, nobody told me about the permit that I need to have to go to Canada. I did the process online at the airport. Was fast but pretty stressful."
Pros: "Surprisingly roomy seat. Fine staff."
Pros: "It was excellent"
Pros: "The courtesy of the attendants. Boarding was a breeze."
Cons: "The leg room."
Cons: "The post office lost my passport and I was unable to go on this flight. Customer service was unwilling to provide a solution that did not cost thousands of dollars to rebook and see my family for Christmas."
Pros: "No issues with the plane or service itself but we were stuck waiting for a replacement plan for a late night flight and departed 4 hours after schedule."
Cons: "AirCanada did not tell me that I needed a transit visa for Canada. So I couldn't board the flight. They also refused to reroute me or refund the ticket. They were not sympathetic or helpful."
Cons: "Flight was delayed."
Pros: "Boarded promptly. In flight entertainment on AC is always great."
Pros: "they food I did purchase was pretty good."
Cons: "no snack at all, was all food for purchase. The inflight entertainment was nothing if you didn't have their Air Canada App."
Pros: "The flight was uneventful."
Cons: "The flight was delayed by almost 30 minutes, but there were no announcements in the gate area until 20 minutes after the original departure time."
Pros: "organized crew & good service"
Cons: "there was no check in luggage with the ticket, I have to pay for both my check in luggage while flying back from Toronto to Saskatoon. Atleast one check in luggage should be there."
Pros: "People that helped us were personable"
Cons: "The flight was delayed 40 and then 50 minutes. No announcements were made, the screen just changed. I'm glad I went up to ask about my connecting flight to Athens; if I had waited and got on the flight, I would have missed my connection. The people at the AirCanada desk were nice, and were able to find us other seats. However, we were promised seats on the 7:30 flight, but instead were put on the 5:45 flight. We asked for the AirCanada person to call back and change our flight, but she said we would have time (at this point, 1 hour and 20 minutes before the flight left), even though I showed her that there was a lot of traffic between LGA and JFK and we probably would not make it. We had to leave LGA, find our bags and wait in a long taxi line to sit in traffic in a cab we had to pay for our of pocket, and could not make the 5:45 flight. I then had to call AirCanada and wait for 15 minutes for the lady to switch us to the 7:30 flight. In all, we also lost 2 full hours in Athens."
Cons: "The system from the beginning was so unorganised ...went 2 hrs earlier even after online check in and it said u need to be there just an hour ..still had to run till the end.. Seat was so uncomfortable ..to add to the agony my luggage didn't arrive and had to wait till evening"
Cons: "Video screen was not working both times. And was charged for check in bag. $25. I didnt get it why i was charged even after paying $510 for a flight. I did web checking for inbound flight n had to pay $25 again. Not happy with that at all."
Pros: "Staff was friendly"
Cons: "Food, seating and entertainment was poor overall. No tvs/ entertainment of any sort"
Pros: "The flight crew and the ground staff were nice enough."
Cons: "The new policy of charging $25 a flight just for a seat assignment means that it now costs $100.00 just to sit next to your travel companion. I understand charging extra something extra, like a service class upgrade or even some more legroom, but not just to get a seat next to your partner when you booked your flight months in advance. Bottom line: We didn't pay and ended up not just in different rows but in different boarding groups. However, now that we are at our destination, with the $100.00 we saved I'm going to sit next to my spouse at a very nice restaurant, enjoying a fine dinner! Seems like a better use of our money."
Pros: "the whole process was great. staff at the airport and in flight were all friendly and helpful."
Pros: "Good leg room."
Pros: "On time with nice crew"
Cons: "Boarding a bit of a mess"
Cons: "Too hot in the plane"
Cons: "No free snack offered."
Pros: "This flight offered a small bag of pretzels and a beverage. The movies were new. The crew was friendly."
Cons: "It took us a long time to board because somehow most of the aisle passengers were seated before the window seats, which meant everyone had to get out to let their seating companions on. It provided a fair amount of leg room considering it was an economy flight, but I swear the seats get narrower every time I fly."
Cons: "The original AC flight left an hour late with no explanation. I literally ran to catch my connecting flight. Though the plane was still sitting there and still connected, they would not let me board. The AC rep was extremely rude and uncaring. He acted as though it was my fault. He rudely said the next flight is at 8:00 that night. It was currently 7:30 in the morning! And I had another flight to catch. He just kept telling me to sit down. Another rep eventually got me on a flight via standby, but I had to reschedule my next flight and it was a race to catch the last flight home. Very stressful day with little concern from the airline. I'll do everything possible to avoid them in the future."
Pros: "Good flight good price. I see negative reviews I feel those ppl are bitchin on a regular if everything isn't to Hollywood standards! The only thing I agree is that the entertainment should be included,BUT WHO CARES YOUR IN THE FREAKIN AIR! HOW THIS TECHNOLOGY BEING TAKEN FOR GRANTED IS CRAAAZY, ppl bitchin about their business class seats lmao!"
