Fast check in and customs lines in both airports
The chips are pretty bland. I appreciate the free refreshments, but would like a bit of choice
I have flown on Porter numerous time but this was the first for my family. They enjoyed the Porter lounge and convenience of flying from the Toronto island right into EWR. We were able to take the NJ Train right to Penn Station (NYC) faster than any taxi.
On time. Provided snacks and drinks even on a short flight. Group lobby prior to boarding provided coffee, tea, snacks, water for free.
Delayed twice. No compensation for delays that resulted in hotel cancellations.
Seats were uncomfortable and tight. Leg room is not existent.
MIGHT give me a refund, and not WILL give me a refund
Service personnel at Air Canada were very helpful and re-booked me several times and when none of those flights left, they said they would refer me to refund department.
They have good entertainment system and library
The plane delayed for almost 90m due to a mechanical issue. Of course, we missed our connection in Vancouver. Upon arriving in Vancouver, there was no help at all or guidance. Customer support desk was manned by one agent even in the presence of long queues.
Flight delay led us to miss our connecting flight. Air Canada then lost our luggage for 6 days on our honeymoon!
New system with Canadian customs was fantastic. Went through really quickly.
