My ticket was with EVA Airlines, but Asiana Airlines was the ground crew for EVA Airlines. Me and my family member finally received our boarding passes after waiting to check-in, which took over 30 minutes. I had never done a tax refund before, so I crossed immigration without going to customs to receive a stamp for my tax refund. When I went to the tax kiosk on the other side of the immigration gate, NICE Tax Refund asked me to talk to an airline staff member. I could not find any airline staff member, so I went to the Information Desk. The woman at the Information Desk told me and showed me a sign that read that I needed an airline staff member to accompany me to cross immigration again. The woman at the Information Desk phoned EVA Airlines and Asiana Airlines. I also phoned, but there was no answer. There was still 80 minutes before my flight would leave. I waited for 45 minutes. I spoke to Information, not one time, but two times and the woman assured me that this situation happens often and it is nothing to worry about as the airport is small and once the airline staff arrives, it would only take 10 minutes to go get the stamp and I would be able to make my flight. Then, 35 minutes before my flight was scheduled to leave an Asiana Airline employee, accompanied by the woman from the Information Desk came. Asiana asked me to confirm whether I wanted the customs declaration stamp. I answered yes. Then, she said she would like to state that I should take full responsibility if I could not make my flight. She asked whether I wanted her to proceed to contact a staff member to take me to get the stamp. This was very suspicious as there was still 35 minutes remaining until the flight took off. I directly said to her that the question was very strange, but as there was enough time remaining, I did not see a problem and wanted a staff member to accompany me to get the stamp. She went away and came back 5 minutes later and asked me whether I had the item I wanted to declare on me and how many people were traveling with me. I told her I had the item with me and I was here with a family member. She then went away again for another 5 minutes. When she came back she asked whether all members would not be traveling as well. I stated that I am not sure why me or my family member should not board the airplane. At this point, it became apparent that she was not helpful, so I tried to talk to other airline staff. I also talked to a woman wearing a reflective safety vest, who was organizing the gate bollards for boarding and she said she would take me after boarding. When I asked, how I would board the plane, she then said, you will not be able to. I then talked to a man, who spoke Mandarin and appeared to work for EVA Airlines. He told me it was my fault and not his and tried to re-direct me to another person. He was not busy at all. At this point, it became apparent that, Asiana Airlines and EVA Airlines, were more interested in delaying and preventing me from boarding the airplane. In the time the airline staff wasted arguing with me, they could have just brought me to receive the stamp. It seemed apparent that I was not going to receive the stamp or the tax refund, so I stepped into the boarding queue line. Again, the airline staff, the woman in the reflective safety vest asked me to confirm that I would not be getting on the airplane. I was already boarding! There was written signage of the procedure at your airport’s Information Desk. Then, I was passed to multiple airline staff that were not willing to assist accordingly. There was no one at the customs declaration counter and no one else from the airport to assist me. EVA and Asiana Airlines both avoided responsibility and delayed the procedure. They were rude and indirect about the situation with every attempt to prevent me from boarding. Deterring foreigners to depart from a foreign country over tax refund issues is unlawful.

Flight was canceled was only given only a 8 hour lead time. Had to fight to be put on another airline (United Airlines) that was leaving earlier then the one EVA and rescheduled.

The EVA air staff at Narita did a terrible job with signage and communication. Despite getting to the airport hours before, they had me queue in line and did not communicate that passengers for Kaohsiung need to step out of line to go to a different line. If you put the flight number at the front of the line, people will think that’s their line. If your staff walk silently down the line with a sign of the flight number, how are we supposed to know you want us to follow unless you speak or write that? I even asked the staff with this sign when we could check our bags and they assumed I was on the later flight to Taipei. Later, Wl only 30 minutes remaining I called for help, and the staff looked at me like I was in the wrong. I had to rush through security and customs and had no time to eat or buy a gift. I’m deeply disappointed in the way they handled it, and it caused unnecessary stress on my vacation.

EVA airlines was excellent: on time or early, safe, courteous crew. Highly recommended.

Flight Attendants could have been nicer and food portions could be bigger.

Great experience, comfort and food is delicious. Always great service and one time

Flight staff were very courteous and efficient. Aircraft (seats, lavatories, etc) was kept clean and replenished

I have never heard of EVA air before but I am so happy my wife and I were able to flight on their planes twice. Everything on these flights just felt better than their competitors. As someone with longer legs any bit of extra leg spaces is appreciated. The different options for food and drinks were also a plus. They were extra careful to make sure my wife's eating restrictions were taken care for. They had a before take off and landing announcements on the built in tablets for each seat and it gave out information that was very helpful. Such as what and how to declare your items in the specific country you landed in, any odd items that may be illegal to bring it (and even the reasoning why) and any other information you might need to make your post flight experience better. The only downside was there were "forced" ads on the tablet at take off for maybe 5-10 minutes but honestly, this flight was the cheapest option and had all the benefits listed above that is such an easy trade off. Im keeping an eye out for EVA air going forward.

First time traveling with EVA.. great experience in economy class... Personnel very friendly..

Everything is good staff is polite and helpful flights are on time sub sandwhich for a snack was good with a bottle of water only thing maybe more variety of food like breakfast or dinner depends on the time

Flight crew was fantastic. The aircraft was meticulously cleaned at all times. The crew was continuously checking to see if the passengers were ok.

It’s great, long flight and arrive safe at destination

Korean are so racist and when I ask question or directions they totally ignore me and say racist. Also they give me an rude attitude.

They were trying to get people to check luggage because the over head compartments were full but when we boarded there were lots of empty places that people could have put the luggage.

I can't believe they put my wife and I in the two middle seats! It is a very long flight and we had single flyers on either side of us blocking the way to the bathroom! There's no reason to not give one of us the isle seat so we could have managed bathroom needs and snacks with convenience. So I think very poorly of Korean air to put us both in the middle, I've never had that happen before and will probably avoid this airline in the future because of this. We tried to have them change it but they didn't so you pretty much lost a customer because of it.

It was good, I liked the self-serve snacks but it was a little difficult to get the alcohol, which is understandable since I wouldn't want kids sneaking it.

Friendly flight attendants and gate agents. Very clean plane and food was good!

One of the flight attendants stepped on my foot. I was on the aisle seat. A lady inside needed to get out. So Instood. Just then, a flight attentendant came wuicklybtheoughbthe aisle and stepprd on my sock covered toes. I let out a small sound. She stopped momentarily, but didn’t ask how I was just took off of the aisle. Never came back to see how I was. Fortunately, I was not really hurt other than a slight soreness in my toes. But I found that to be very negligent.

I was unable to select decent seats, and so I was stuck in the middle seat because it was selected for me

Korean air has a little bit more seating space than Asiana air.

Issues: 1) the charging issue as described in my previous survey 2) when I requested diet coke during the breakfast time, it is not available. Why? I can't drink diet coke in the morning? 3) when I tried to transfer to this flight, its gate information was not available to me?

If my return flight was not so much better, I would have given an excellent review.

A lot of things Never flying with this airline again Had an emergency landing

They downgraded me from premium economy to regular economy and me had 2 major lay over and had to have an emergency landing due to engine failure mid flight Don’t use them worst experience I have ever had still dealing with the trauma

My connecting flight was canceled or never existed. My stopover went from 1 hour and a half to 10 hours. It was a long day that I wasn't prepared for and it would have been nice to know that ahead of time. Cathay is great though. Great staff, entertainment and food.

Great entertainment system, the seat is a bit old style needs refurbishment

I am Vegetarian also has Gluten free food. However they gave me chicken and fish which is gluten free, but i am a vegetrain and i requested crew Hindu meal vegetarian, they said they will come back. .but they never showed up even i asked 2nd time. They could have compensate. I also request airline industry to have another option Gluten Free for Vegetarin people as well. Because Vegetarin people will have gluen issue...

The economy seats are incredibly tight. A large percent of the traveling public will not fit. I will not fly Cathay again because of this. You are literally squeezing passengers for profit. The CEO should fly some economy flights.

Great. Efficient boarding process with the face recognition. Plenty of cabin space for luggage.

Cabin crew is very helpful and nice, it is another level of service compared to Air Canada

Lovely staff, comfortable seats. Transit time was short but they had great processes in place to get us on the plane.

For a domestic flight, seats are ok, but fir us as tall dutchies, the legroom is too small. However, for a short and affordable flight, is not a big problem. Staff is still very nice and a complementary water very welcome.

2 hours delay, time changes started already 2 days before the flight

Average, not more then that. Cannot compete with Singapore Airlines

I bought the front row seat and made and early online check in but they changed my seat to the back row without prior notice. The inflight meal was too poor, only a piece of small finger food. The boarding is a disaster, everyone is stuffed in a bus in chaos. Doesnt worth the money at all.

Poor. Flight was delay without prior notice. Poor boarding. Poor meal service. Plane was dirty and smelly. Does not worth the money.

Overall very nice airline. The seats were cloth unlike leather seats I am accustom to on planes. The food was adequate. I had to use a paper boarding pass as they do not like electronic boarding passes. I scanned my electronic pass, but the gate agent requested the paper pass. Luckily I had a paper pass, although my electronic pass worked and when the paper pass was scanned it stated I was already on board.

I am a bit upset with the check in counter, I signed up a wheelchair for my mom so they wouldn’t grant us her boarding pass. We got to the airport a couple of hours earlier and they had us wait and no one ever gave us her boarding pass or the wheelchair, I had to go back and complain when it was already time for our flight to board. Since we got their earlier, I could have easily pushed my mom myself and we could have relaxed and went to the lounge while waiting… when I finally got someone to help us he couldn’t explain how and why they dismissed us in the first place.

Was on holiday with my partner and we booked with Vietnam airlines as it not meant to be a budget airline. They separated us and made us sit at either end of the plane. Not the way I planned to spend my time on my holiday separate from my loved one. How can they separate people on the same booking. They know we are together and spending quality time together.

I had sometimes my trips with Vietnam Airlines and I like it 😊

I was unable to check in online so had to line up at the airport. When I got to the counter? The staff told me I had to check my carry on luggage, which cost $70. When I boarded the plane, I saw many suitcases that were bigger and heavier than my carry on… so not sure how they were able to bring them on and I wasn’t …

Waited for 1 hour on tarmac because they couldn’t locate a tow truck. Flight was fine once we eventually took off.

Late departure, late arrival, and personal items on laps during takeoff and landing. Departure gate opened on time, but no direction as to whether to board at front or rear of plane based on seat number. Fashionable staff with sunglasses inside the plane and cockpit remained for ten minutes after the boarding complete announcement. For a scheduled 80 minute flight, adjusted to 65 minute as noted on takeoff; the total time on the plane with delays was r more than two hours. No confidence had there been an emergency that anyone would have been able or aware of what to do.

The flight was OK, but you need to warn passengers going to Vietnam that the full first, middle and last name needs to be in the issued visa, At least 5 passengers on that pane did not have that. We all had to pay $298 each to some agent to amend the visa. At least one lady could not and was left behind.

VietJet is a discount airline like EasyJet, Flair or Spirit. I flew 3 flights in 2 weeks and all were Airbus 321's. 2 of the flights left and arrived on time and 1 left and arrived about 45minutes late. Seat pitch in economy is 29" but exit row seats have super-generous leg room. There are no power ports or entertainment of any kind. Food is best purchased on-line before the flight but there is a limited selection available in flight - cash only. The aircraft are clean and the airline is run as well as any other airline that specializes in economy passengers.

Our flight was 3 hours delayed and the airport was hectic as our boarding pass said one gate while the digital screens said another gate. Attendants were clueless and said to watch both! Vietjwt cared more about selling their merch than even providing any water for the 2 hour flight

Cheap flight but more expensive when the airlines demands you pay over 30$ for 1 kilogram overweight ( it is 8,2kg I have for carry on baggage) The flights announcement 2PM, and it departed 4 PM, no announcement for delaying, People says Vietjet is delayJet airlines in their blood.

Vietjet tried to steal extra money from passengers by forcing them to change the name on the ticket that was correctly filled in on an English form online when ticket bought online. I bought the ticket via a foreign website where the language is English, At filling in the passenger's name, it says middle name first, then first name, and last name, That the ticket done and printed. when my wife checked in the staff at the check in counter said that her name was written wrong, she must fill the name in Vietnamese style, writing the Last name first, then middle name, first name comes last, even though her name was not misspelled. At the aiport I asked the Vietjet customer service, if it is written in Vietnamese way, it will be wrong when she travel abroad ? The custom service could not answer. It took over an hour where my wife was thrown like a ball between the check-in counter, to the Vietjet customer service , then to passport control. The cost is 110,000 vnd for change place in vietnamese way, I thought if there are millions of passengers who have done the same mistake, how much money Vietjet raked in every year On the flight, it is not allowed to sit in the empty seats in front or next to me, I sat in the middle in a row where two big men were sitting, I really need to change seats but the crew asked to pay extra to buy the empty seats. It is petty and cruel of Vietjet. There is no other choice than the state-owned airline, then you have no choice but to swallow the bite

Our flight was delayed for about 3hours however the ground crew made it sure that we will not miss our connecting flight from Hanoi to incheon.

If there could be simple free food or snack or some entertainment.
