My personal TV's touch screen wasn't working so I complaint to stewardess, who asked her manager, Ms Jacky to come, she resent the system which worked and then stopped again. I again complaint but by the time Ms Jacky came the system started working again so she said "I did not know how to use touch feature. I was touching it too hard."

Cons: "The utterly appalling seats on Cathay's old B777s are unacceptable for a premium airline. Non-reclining economy seats which are desperately uncomfortable for any flight of more than 1 hour, and completely unsuitable for an overnight flight. These planes desperately need a refit. Best avoided until this has been completed. The flight was overbooked, and the cabin crew seemed stressed and very busy. As a long term frequent flyer with CX, this was a very disappointing experience."

I had a pre-selected (vegetarian) meal which was both meagre and mediocre when flying out of JFK. It was a grossly insufficient amount of food for the long duration of the flight. I had what was essentially a small tray of chickpeas for 'breakfast'. Crazy! 3. The noodles that are on offer for snacks throughout the flight were chicken or beef. Vegetarians do not have anything to eat except cookies and some fruit (which goes quickly when set out!) 4. No eye mask, earplugs, toothbrush or toothpaste. These are basic amenities. Had to ask for an eye mask and then one was provided. Some airlines even provide in-flight socks (and yes, I am talking about economy travel here)."

This was a major inconvenience since I had school 3 hours after I arrived and then work. I would suggest to not have arriving flights and connecting departing flights less than hour and thirty minutes to two hours apart. Only for delay issues."

Pros: "We have been using Premium Economy on various airlines I’ve the last several years for our frequent travel between the USA and destinations in Europe and Asia. The Air Canada experience was one of the very best (along with Lufthansa). The entertainment system was superior, food was great, service was attentive and comfort was as anticipated. The availability of power for iPads and computers was more than sufficient. I’m sure that a lot of the satisfaction came from flying on a Dreamliner but Air Canada is still at the top in our minds (and future plans)."

Of all the types of food to serve, leaving Vancouver, why not showcase great Canadian seafood or cooking? Everyone going TO India will soon get to eat amazing local Indian food, so why risk making poor-quality imitation Indian food?"

The aircraft's interior was not clean. The carpet the seats and the tray tables all dirty and discussing. The seats are undiscribly substandard and uncomfortable. The bilingual announcement was done incoherintkyin both languages absolutely not professional Crew was nice except an Asian/Canadian flight attendent. It's a less than adequate experience even for a officially second tier airline. Why does Canada put out an embarrassing product like this airline ? Shame on them !"

We had to press hard to get our bags back the next evening, instead of 2 days later. The onus was placed on us to keep receipts for replacement items that needed to be purchased in the interim, as well as to make the claim for reparation money on our return. Not even a complementary toiletry kit was offered, despite the fact that I reiterated that I had literally no clothes or toiletries at all in the one bag that arrived. Crew on our return flight was borderline rude, did not seem to take any care at all wheeling heavy carts down the aisles while people slept on a transpacific flight, banged them into my daughter many times."

Luckily when I fly from my birth place of St. John's NL, you're ground staff are the absolute best! I can give "shout outs" to each and every one of them. From those ready for retirement to the new staff just in from "who knows where", they get the whole "customer service" priority that your airline needs to focus on. Your management in Halifax "Sharon" is out of this world too, other than that whether through Lufthansa, Air Canada or anywhere I would travel, seeing that red leaf on your wing would make me ashamed to be Canadian."

The flight - although half empty had no place for my briefcase, but I was "ordered" to push my sealskin bag under the dirty greasy seat in front of me. When I requested they store it upfront for take-off & landing - the french female steward started flirting with the man sitting next to me and didn't even offer a response. When drinks came around - I was handed a half empty glass with juice on it's exterior and borrowed a napkin from the next seat. Later I did get a napkin "thrown gently" over the person she enjoyed speaking with. I was happy to wait until connecting passengers disembarked before the local traffic, but was appalled when the more senior female steward stopped a local passenger who I know has anxiety about flying - to insist she let the other passengers off first. Air Canada needs to be educated on what human behaviour entails, before they can graduate to customer service. Together with my first name, you can know my last name is Floyd"

Cons: "In my flight to India, I was asked to check in my hand baggage at Calgary. This bag got left behind in Toronto and I received it in India after 2 days. This was a big inconvenience. I wish Air Canada had compensated me for this inconvenience. On my way back, my checked in baggage was badly damaged. I realize that the airline is not responsible for this and it is the airport crew. Overall a good experience. I will definitely take this flight again, but will not check in my hand baggage. The crew is very friendly and helpful - great service."

Cons: "The rates that were on Kayak were different than what we were charged on our credit card. Kayak kept sending us canned response for charging us $1500 extra and when we reached out to Air Canada, they kept mentioning that they are not responsible for what rates were displayed by Kayak and they charged us $3000. I am Just FRUSTRATED by the way I have been conned between 2 systems and They wanted me ( the customer) to go and figure out what went wrong. TERRIBLE SERVICE. Don't buy from KAYAK"
Cons: "While checking in online for the boarding pass I was asked for information like my nationality, residence, passport number, but yet I wasn't informed that I would be needing a transit visa to take a connecting flight from Toronto. I was issued a boarding pass and assigned a seat on the plane. But when I went to board the flight I was not allowed to. I had to go back home with all my luggage and book another flight. No compensation of any kind was provided for the inconvenience and harassment that I had to go through. Not only did I not get any money back I also had to pay for another expensive ticket. I believe it is the airlines responsibility to ensure that the passenger doesn't miss such an important requirement such as the transit visa. They should have check points/pop up messages on their website during the booking of the ticket or during the issuance of the boarding pass that informs or at least directs the costumer to such specific and vital requirements. When I fly by Air France they always direct me to a page that helps me locate the requirements to travel through a country. No such thing was there on Air Canada's website. This was the first time I was flying with Air Canada, but thanks to them I never did. And now I never will."

Cons: "When my baggage arrived a zippered pocket was open and a an antique compass that my father (who just passed away) left me was taken. I contacted Air Canada who said that they couldn't do anything about it, they only allow claims for lost baggage. I was heartbroken, and there is nothing Air Canada can do about securing passengers baggage from thieves. Very disappointed with the lack of support with this issue."
