I didn't have any problems during my flight. My main issue is with airlines in general, they keep offering less and less every year, AirTransat is no different.
Crew was good, helpful. Flight ran on time.would have liked to take airtransat home to MTL. But the price back from San Jose Costa Rica was MUCH more expensive than the flight from MTL to San Jose c.r.

They never sent me a confirmation to say my flight time had changed so I cut my holiday short by 6 hours Had to pay over 50 American for my luggage to be checked on the way home and that’s more that it cost on the way there. Arbitrarily charging more for the same thing when the passenger has no options is shady The cabin was an icebox going there and back, if all the passengers have their gloves on and their hoods up that should be an obvious sign to turn up the heat
I was very nice to arrive earlier than scheduled. Very much appreciated. No issues with flight. All was good.
The on-board crew were professional and friendly and made the trip feel like we were taken care of well. The gate for the flight departure changed three times...not great but not terrible. Considering it was the day of the New Jalisco Cartel mayhem, we can't really complain.
We were treated well by the staff at the airport and on board aircraft. Delay was uncontrollable due to the weather. Had to wait for another gate as we were late landing in Fort Lauderdale.
I was supose to have a carrey on incluided for each passenger and they made me paid 75$ each at the gate.
Great crew and entertaining Captain. Seats were not what we had expected based on my booking but things worked out in the end. Of course, like all airlines these days not enough leg or elbow room.

After my flight was cancelled the day before we got on board and could not even get a cup Of tea with milk as there was no milk. The oatmeal bar they are now serving was terrible. It was interesting that we could not get anything to eat as SXM doesn’t provide food but the people in Business class had food. I was very hungry as I never ate at the airport after being picked up by the bus from the hotel. There was one worker in the cafe to serve us all and I had a problem with my knee so couldn’t walk as quickly so ended up not getting food. Not your problem but still I was very hungry. An attendant finally gave me some hot water which I requested. It’s the first time I’ve ever felt the class distinction while travelling.
Boarding procedures were a gong show. Everyone was confused and AC staff were very rude and impatient when people were confused about boarding zones
I bought a ticket from Kayak. When I got to the airport, the was no ticket. I had to pay 5X to get to my destination. No response received from Kayak. I will NEVER use them again.
My wallet was stolen while I was sleeping on the plane.
After waiting in the airport from 7am (to make sure we had enough time for security), our flight was continually delayed until it was canceled. They tried to book us on a Delta flight, which we considered and even went to the Delta terminal with our luggage (which was stowed and then available once the flight was canceled (about 15 min away) but were then informed that we would need to retrieve our luggage at LaGuardia and then recheck in to Air Canada in New York, grab our luggage, and then get to the air canada terminal and re-check in. We decided against it, took our luggage into an uber home and then drive the 6.5 hours (one way) to Montreal instead.
The seats were the most comfortable and spacious that I ever flew, and I flew more than 20 different airlines (economy)
Flight departed significantly late with no announcements being made. Woman behind me would not allow me to recline my seat so I was unable to comfortably sleep. Flight attendant not very responsive. Slow to pick up garbage after meal. Not a good experience at all. I felt like cattle rather than like a valued customer
Boarding was extremely challenging, long lines and wait time, almost missed my flight.
I checked a bag and there was only one agent to assist all customers with any issues.
Hoping for small compasation for having to rebook my trip back cause i had to miss 6 hrs work
Crew could have been more helpful in helping to find location to store luggage in overhead bins in order to expedite seating. Seating was cramped and uncomfortable.. Other than that it was a standard flight.
The flight was delayed 7 hours and we were given 10 euros vouchers. This is ridiculous. The crew was not nice at all, they just did their job with serving food and drinks. Did not even apologize for the delay!!!!
Had a delayed flight that caused me to miss all of my flights. Supposedly I was rebooked. When I got to my next connecting flight there was no ticket for me. I spent hours working with an agent. And they still couldn’t get it right. I will arrive home more that 24 hours later than my original schedule. Totally inept and frustrating experience.
Flight attendant was very rude helping me out. Food was discussing did not eat any of it.
This review is based on 2 things: 1. The lack of hygiene on the plane. 2. William - the head flight attendant. The lack of cleanliness on the plane upon arrival was appalling. Being given a sanitizing wipe upon boarding of the plane is shocking when you consider the cost of a business class flight. UA expects me to do their job and clean all the bread, food and debris left from previous guests. Does this sound normal to you. The seat, the food table and the sides were full of crumbs, chocolate and dirt. When I told the flight attendant they just gave me more wipes so I could clean it myself. Secondly, William the business cabin head flight attendant was so busy flirting with a couple in the front that his attention to the other guests was minimal. He continuously asked them if they were ok or if they needed anything and it didn’t matter if the rest of us needed anything. And if you are the lead attendant shouldn’t you be checking if the bathrooms in business class are clean and needing toilet paper. There were 2 bathrooms in business. Halfway through the flight the first bathroom was closed and the second bathroom was dirty and had no toilet paper one hour and a half before the flight landed. He needs additional training on prioritizing things. He should care less about flirting and more about his work
Paid for exit row at the back of the plane. Window seat with lots of leg space. Food was inedible (as usual). Brought my own.
We had the best help ever from the airport workers who helped us check in and get our luggage through even though the checkout was closed. We had gotten so lost that a 90 minute drive became 3 hours. They were fast and courteous and even helped with our rental car. Thank you to them!
Size of economy seats great. Food well not bad for airline food. Staff friendly, helpful, professional. Very impressed
Be aware that your carry on is no longer a carryon. They go by the weight not just the size. Because we were forced to check them we missed our connection. Waiting over half hour at the luggage carrosol. Also, this added inconvenience happened because they "kayak" changed our itinerary knowing our connection was almost impossible, they wouldn't make different flights. Will never book the flight through KAYAK. USE the carrier for direct.
Missed flight. Requested assistance for my father and he did not receive it in Paris.
