Pros: "Alaska is the best airline, anywhere. Good communication. Excellent app. Super kind staff. I love that they have no seat back video. Looking at other peoples video screens flashing all night long is annoying and gives me a headache."

Cons: "They were careless with our suitcases. When we got to Vancouver, we were missing wheels on our suitcases. 2 wheels on my husband's and 1 on mine. It made it horrible to pull the suitcases."

Pros: "Connected to a virgin flight at lax. Flat out terrible. No one to help us - no signs to tell us where the bus is to take us from terminal 3 and 6. We had to renter security on our way given the terminal change and lost our tsa. General just really bad merger stuff. Hope it gets fixed. I'll wait to fly Alaska virgin for a while."

Cons: "The plane had to turn around halfway from Seattle to Vancouver due to a mechanical problem. We all later got an email saying we'd receive a discount on future travel because the airline deemed the delay "preventable." We got a second plane quickly, on the second boarding process the gate agent failed to do preboarding. I'm on crutches at the moment, so this meant more time on my feet manoeuvring around "elite status members" than I would have liked."

I'm 5'7 and I couldn't even rest my head on my knees to stop the extreme motion sickness. I couldn't even finish my flight today because I couldn't stand the nausea and I couldn't rest in a seat 2 sizes too small for a regular sized person. I had to lay down and when it didn't subside I had to find accommodation. I will never fly with westjet again. But thanks you know for the pretzels."

Cons: "It took several hours for the decision to be made to cancel our original flight from PV to Van, and when the final decision was made, the complete lack of sympathy or communication came as a shock. No one informed us why we were moving to another terminal or that our flight had actually been cancelled and we would be staying another night in Mexico for another two hours. Getting our hotel voucher and transportation to the venue took another several hours. (Sorry Westin, but you also receive poor marks on your food services. Your front desk people were great though!) The following morning we were not informed that there would be no food service on the flight, so my kids were starving by the time we touched down in Vancouver. The ordeal was exhausting and when we finally arrived in Vancouver we almost missed our connecting flight because of a huge error in off-loading our luggage. It shouldn’t take over an hour to receive your luggage. Again, the communications break down led to hightened anxiety and stress. The whole horrible journey home with WestJet made the loveliness of my actual holiday pale into the background. I was very disappointed in WestJet as I’ve had fabulous experiences in the past. If possible, I will avoid flying with them again any time soon."

Allmost missed the 1st flight getting it fixed, they also didn’t book my child in adjacent seats, despite pre-booking the seats on the flight days before."

Mis information from Flight Crew: Aero Mexico flight crew put everyone in a panic on flight from LAX to MEX and Guatemala to MEX by saying that everyone had to pick up their luggarge.. even if you were just in transit to another country. Once I went down and asked Information, they stated that I did not need to pick up my bags as they would in fact be transportated to my final destination. When I told AeroMexico about this.. they didn’t seem to care that they were saying something completely different to everyone on their planes. In the future I will avoid booking with Aero Mexico.. I felt vulnerable and that Mexico didn’t have its clients in their best interest. Additionally, their lack of WiFi is embarrassingly cheap of them. Guatemala has free wifi, I assumed everywhere provides wifi for its visitors. Mexico supposedly gives you 5 min free and they don’t make that easy to access."

I needed to add my 2,4yr old to my trip.The Aromexico agent wanted to charge me over 1000.00 for the two children, to travel with me even though online the tickets were $200.00.They would not let me book my tickets online because the children were minors even though my ticket was already bought. I ended up purchasing tickets on delta to get to Cancun. However I was under the impression that I would return with Aeromexico on the round trip ticket I had already bought.NO! according to Aeromexico even though you buy a round trip ticket if you fail to use 1 leg of the trip you loose both ways WHAT! Then they refused to allow me to speak to a supervisor it was hands down the worst experience I have ever had with an airline in the 30 yrs that I have been traveling internationally. I would paddle boat rather than use this air again."

Cons: "Last minute delay, last minute cancellation, two hours of waiting to find that I'm rescheduled for another flight. When i was rescheduled for a 50 min layover at an airport that takes 30 minutes just to transport a person from one terminal to another, and it's outside with scam drivers, that's asking a bit much. My biggest mistake was running it, rather than walking which would have resulted in missing my flight, and catching the next one the following day thereby spending a night in Cancun. ;) Also, they need to seriously reconsider their baggage system. They charge for checked baggage, but then give it away at boarding because they don't have enough carry-on space. I backpack, essentially carrying my home on my back - are you going to trust your home to the airline baggage system?? So i certainly don't appreciate being pressured to do so when i work to remain within the carry-on guidelines. In the following question, you have asked me to describe my flight from Mexico City to Detroit- this flight never happened due to the events described in my first paragraph. Thus, my flights from Mexico City to Cancun to Minneapolis are described in the first paragraph."

I was booked on a flight two hours later which meant i was going to miss my next connecting flight. The second flight was departing 4 hours after i arrived into Mexico city. Talk about making an easy $2k without doing absolutely nothing. I paid for another flight to get to Mexico to fly to el salvador when they told me that they cancelled everything. And then we were "herded" to walk a block outside to a shuttle bus again no one talking to us. Then in terminal it was a chaotic loud crowd of tired semi confused passengers being told to "go that way" . We queued up in a zig zag line to the machines while overhead announcements repeated that we could avoid the lines and down load an app. After a lovely 9 days on Guanajuato, it was a shock to say the least. So the AM flight was very nice but the arrival "home" was extremely unpleasant. A person on ground actually talking would have been amazing. Thanks for letting me vent !"

I rarely vote ‘Excellent’ but this AA flight out of LGA was amazing. On time departure, early arrival, amazing crew, smooth flight, baggage came out quickly. It was the best airport/ flight experience that anyone could ask for/dream of. Highly recommend. I usually fly Delta but American Airlines really stepped up their game.
Couldn’t get on internet this trip. On way out I was fine but on way back I couldn’t get it. Also one of our bags did not make it to final destination

No thanks to the person at the terminal. Really long walk from the gate to the plane. No food on a cross country flight. Only a few cups of water/soda and a cookie. which unfortunately is typical now days. The lights were off the whole trip. The captain kept turning on the seat belt sign for the turbulence. Which there was a lot of. But then he would announce for everyone to go back to their seats. It wasn't huge bumps, just a little rough. and it woke everyone up by announcing it multiple times."
