Pros: "It was fairly comfortable & the staff was pleasant. The initial leg from BCN to Frankfurt went very smoothly."
Cons: "The flight 2nd flight from Frankfurt to Boston was significantly delayed for a variety of issues, and ( though not really within Lufthansa’s control) the security at Frankfurt was easily the most disorganized & poorly run situation I’ve ever encountered. There was almost constant interruption for announcements at the outset, with information that wasn’t necessary & actually made waiting for an extra hr + more frustrating. I give the crew/staff credit for doing their jobs well enough that it still managed to be a decent flight in the end."

There was a curtain which separates the business class and economic class. As the 1st point, my seat was the 1st-row aisle seat, so the curtain hit me every time the crew went through the curtain, which is extremely annoying. 3. Cons: "One of the boarding crew member in Bucharest, a younger bearded male wearing glasses, was extremely rude to my husband. Boarding started a bit late, and I had to run to the ladies room. The ladies room was crowded and housekeeping was frustrated about the mess left behind by some ladies. Meanwhile my husband was approached by the above described crew member. When my husband told the crew member that I was at the bathroom, the crew member start yelling at my husband stating : I don't care, call her, u are late". When I finally arrived, there were 2 more couples behind us. People were also at the plane's door awaiting to board and find their seats. We were not late. The crew member was totally unprofessional by the way he approached my husband, the tone of his voice and his comments. My husband doesn't speak Romanian and he told me about the incident while walking my towards the plane. I couldn't go back and get the crew member's name."

So she told me she could see why I so unclever...all Russian the same and laughing on me. I didn't expect so racist behavior and I stopped any conversation and complained to flight attendant. And I was double surprise! She went to her talked with her and than tell me that she could take any place she wants and she never told me any racist words, and maybe I'm a lier. I was so upset and I told a passenger that I can go to court when get back to US, she was really scared now and start sorry! But it was to late to sorry! When I asked flight attendant to sorry, she told she do not sorry!!! The flight was Monday October 3rd 2016 Lufthansa 459 San Francisco -Munich, name of flight attendant Eva-Katherine Pfaffel, the passenger seat 44 Diana or E I think, they didn't provide me information about name or her seat. The flight attendant told me it is not big dealing, maybe for Germany it is ok, but in US it is really rude, original I'm from Russia, my daughter too, additionally she is black, it will be really good if I never feel this again, I was in really helpless situation. It is really unpleasant when you spend money and get neglect."

Cons: "Because of a family illness I had to reschedule my flight 2 weeks before. Because the flight was booked through a secondary company, rebooking the outgoing flight ended upp: a) costing me as much as the whole original return flight; b) was no longer a 1 stop flight as I also had to stop in Frankfurt plus the company would not allow me to choose directly, I sent them details and then they booked what they could find; and c) I lost both the outgoing flight ( which was charged) and the return flight ( which was not changed) premium seat bookings both of which I had to pay for a second time. If I had booked directly with the airline this would have cost a transfer fee and I would not have lost the premium seat bookings. This was therefore a great expense and inconvenience. I will no longer book flights indirectly when using kayak. In future I will search using google flights and then go straight to the airline sites to book. Very disappointed. I never had this problem when booking with kayak before"

The food was MUCH better on Lufthansa flights that originate in Europe than flights that originate in the US. I will definitely fly again."

Actually, there were no lines, just a crowd of passengers pushing and shoving towards two gates. This was made worse by the occasional golf cart trying to move thru this throng of passengers. Most dangerous was that the flow of passengers down the escalators was not regulated, when I reached the bottom of the escalator there was no place to go, I was pushed awkwardly to the side by passengers piling up behind me. I am 67 years old, and found this very unsafe to my self and others. I hope that no injuries occurred."

Also the system was down, so no check-in online = the biggest line at the airport, it took me more than 1 hour to check-in and drop my luggage, all to get there and the ground force lady (the rudest person alive) tell me that I had no seat available, that she was going to put me on the waiting list... WHAT? I bought my ticket already, waiting list? Well, to say that I highly doubt that I'll book with Lufthansa again."

Furthermore I couldn’t use the check-in kiosks because my name was listed as Reidmr instead of Reid, which meant that my boarding pass did not match my passport. Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"

We had to run to catch our flight. An announcement should have been made that they would wait for us. When we were departing our flight from Hfx. There was commotion became the flight attendants asked for passengers to wait that weren’t connecting to another flight,a passenger yelled out for everyone to SIT DOWN that weren’t connecting. I feel that the air craft should be exited the same way as is boarded,by zones.Also,if people are connecting then those passengers should be exited first,an announcement to suggest that people wait DOES NOT WORK. So much for social distancing!

Cons: "We were quite disappointed when we were told there would be a delay due to mechanical issues after already boarding and being on the plane for over two hours. Imagine our distress at being trapped in a narrow seat inside the confines of a plane still sitting on the tarmac and going nowhere with very limited climate control and circulation that added even more discomfort. This level of stress was compounded by the manner in which our minimal nutritional and hydration needs were not only met but as fare paying passengers, we were teased by a meager slice of packaged and processed sliced banana bread and a mere two cups of water. This fact is especially important because it more severely impacted my father who is diabetic and it was not sufficient for him, especially at 11:44 p.m. Also because there was no communication relayed to passengers that the problem would not be resolved the second time we boarded, Air Canada agents should have recommended or handed out dinner vouchers while we were waiting in the airport after they evacuated us the first time (since everything was closed the second time we were evacuated). We were stuck on the plane for a total of 4 hours two separate times they boarded us and in between that we waited back in the airport for 2 hours; therefore a total of over 6 hours of time past the original boarding time which lead us into 1:30am of not going anywhere. Flight was rescheduled for 23 hours later! We understand the challenges of operating an airline and trying to meet schedules and the needs of the customers. Furthermore, we appreciate diligence when it applies to the safety of flying. However, the myriad problems, distress, physical and discomfort not to mention the over 23 hellish hours, was exacerbated by the following: the lack of communicaton and bad information; the paucity of empathy reflected by all Air Canada employees toward our aggregation; the measures taken to mitigate the damage inflicted to what was to be our “dream vacation” and finally the scarcity of adequate accommodation and compensation for all that we endured. We too lost one night at the Barcelona Universal Hotel worth $207, not to mention a lost vacation day worth over $600 in salary for 8 hours for us. Air Canada should be held to higher standards and more responsible for keeping up to date on their aircraft maintenance checks and regulations.  There was also no specific hotel address on the voucher issued which caused us to drive to two different sheraton 4 points locations until we finally reached our destination which there was no vacancy. Luckily after lingering around in the lobby and me having to call multiple hotels to verify vacancy, one room became available and we ended up inviting another family to stay in our room that night (other Air Canada victims). We didn’t get to bed until 5am that following morning after all of that ruckus!!"
Pros: "The flight was smooth and not delayed"
Cons: "The food was horrible and flight attendants waited unnecessarily long (an hour or so) to pick up all the dishes afterwards. I couldn't understand a word the main flight attendant said in her instructions because of her strong accent."
Pros: "The view from the window seat was all that was good about the flight."
Cons: "The flight attendant (lady with short red hair) was very rude to a customer I was sitting next to. When food service came aroind, people had there seats back amd instead of addressing everyone to politely put their seats in the upright position, she specifically told her (in a very harsh tone) to put her seat up for consideration of the person behind her. The customer said she couldn't because the person in front of her had her seat reclined as well, which left her with very limited space to eat. The flight attendant continued to say she needed to pit her seat upright or take a seat in the back of plane. I was in shock by the flight attendants' unprofessionalism. Flight attendants also need to provide passengers with pens to fill out declarations. Some would not provide customers with pens. I will never fly Air Canada again!"

Cons: "Lines were confusing to me. Kiosk machines for boarding passes clogged lines. Only 3 staff working security lines after a long weekend! 3 sets of married couples that I knew of couldn't be seated together! Airport personnel not very helpful and rather cranky!"
Pros: "I liked nothing, the flight was delayed 3 1/2 hours and was notified when I arrived 2 hrs before flight . The Airlines were not helpful at all. Then when I got to my seat on this late 3 1/2 hour delay my seat was broken and uncomfortable for the rest of the flight which was three hours."

Pros: "The comfort of a Dash 8 was surprising. The seats have a suitable amount of leg room which I'm actually scared to mention so they don't add an extra seat to each row to take it away. Not too much, not too small, just right for a 6 foot man to not have his knees pressed against the seat in front for the whole ride"
Cons: "Where to start? Dash 8's shake, rattle and roll for the whole trip. Felt like we could fall out of the sky at any time. Staff don't care. Split our group after rescheduling due to aircraft issues despite seats available on both connectors. Said to wait until next stop to fix. Next stop said nothing they can do since we checked a bag. Put 2 hours between arrivals just because they can. Blamed it on the computer. Did provide a $10 meal voucher. Good to know Air Canada values my total trip delay time at $2/hr"
