Boarding pass counter did not open until 2 hrs before flight. We were there 3 hrs before as we like to be early ( eat, relax etc). Due to this the line up was large , thus never got through security till 15 min before boarding. Other than that, everything was great
The agent at check in was very cordial and gave me seat 4a with nobody beside me as I asked if possible
I didn’t receive any help when they messed up and wasn’t honest and the supervisor did absolutely nothing to help me so I had to buy another ticket at $537
Poor landing as we overshot the runway and had to re land the plane. Lost both of my luggage not found as of yet. Had to pay extra money for my luggage in USD, now great my luggage is gone. Will not fly with Porter again.
The whole experience from check in to deboarding was fantastic.
The only issue had when i mentioned about comfort was the man beside me was on the larger side and took about 1/3 of my seat where i was pressed against the wall/window of the plane for the trip.

First time with Porter and I can say this is best airline company in Canada. Great service, free WiFi, free snack and drinks (including beer and wine). Seats were super comfy on the Embraer jet and I appreciated the folding try table too. Staff were excellent both legs of the trip.
New jet. Lots of leg room. On time departure. Early arrival. Reasonable airfare. Excellent online experience.
I can't praise the crew enough on how fantastic they where West Jet could learn alot from Porter about customer satisfaction
Terrible. I was charged $75 for a checked bag when I only had a carry on. The lady at the desk said she couldn’t refund me the money and that I had to call westjet. I called the next day and they said they couldn’t refund me because there is no way to prove I didn’t have a checked bag.
Decent entertainment although my wife was not offered any ear buds so couldn’t enjoy. Real issue was the appalling food. Presentation was unacceptable with cheap hard to open packaged bread, plastic cheese again in hard to open shrink wrap, main course in small cardboard box again hard to open, wooden utensils which lack substance making the whole experience poor. Surprised I didn’t cover myself or neighbour as the food moved all over the place. Breakfast calzone was dry and unappealing with the staff basically throwing them around. Very disappointed
Very short flight. No food or entertainment required. Nice crew. Flight left late.

Get our, as a group, skis on time to their destination. Have more attendants checking people in. There was only one. The line was a block long :( . Also flight change with 5-hour delay
Bad flight cancellations no notice until 11:00 pm could not call no response from them would not call back chat was not working had too book another flight ask for my money back so far only 97:00 of the 430:00 is pending in my account not sure what too do next
Westjet requires you to check in on your cellular. This takes about 5 minutes compared to when there were live humans doing check in. Ultimately the machine meant to spit out boarding passes and baggage tag went into the pinwheel of death. I also got a sternly worded email telling me I was ineligible to check bags, even though I’d checked one. The dude who eventually checked me in barely grunted at me and didn’t give me a baggage check. Had my luggage gone missing, I don’t know how it would have gone. And then there is the chaos as people jammed huge carry ons into small overhead bins. Westjet is a cattle car.
The back seats are crowded and at times uncomfortable. I guess that’s part of the price of paying less for a seat.
Having a lot of delayed flights on West Jet, however things always work out. So no complaints.
The flight itself was good, the departure process was a little chaotic but once on the plane it was fine. The carry on luggage amounts is ridiculous. My husband’s suitcase was left behind in Kelowna. We could see it sitting there with our airtag. It was put on the next plane 6 hrs later but it was not delivered until the next afternoon. Unfortunately we had a business meeting Friday morning so he had no change of clothing for that.
I have flown this route before, so far they have been unable to depart on time, then my connecting flight was canceled, likely due to this vs fake mechanical issues
Just fine, got me from point a to point b, nothing to complain about.
Complimentary food options could be better. There should be a little wait between people boarding with children under 6 and the rest of the boarding. There isn’t enough time to get yourself situated before take off.
I’ve wasted 7 hours of my time because of the delayed. ;(
I had boarding pass on my phone. Husband and I were seated together. Agent printed out boarding passes and we were separated for the flight

Everything was on time, loading and unloading went smoothly, and the staff were positive. I wish the seats were more comfortable and had a little more space. I was in the middle seat and had to keep my elbows in so I didn’t bump my neighbour’s arms. Would not like a middle seat ever again. Would fly Air Canada Rouge again 👍
I booked through Kayak but was charged in US dollars. Kayak should ensure that its site clearly indicates the currency. I missed the tiny US icon in the top right corner and paid another $60 for the return flight from Vancouver to Kelowna.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The beverages were good. I was on an overnight flight so it was really frustrating to find myself crammed into seats didn't even recline. Not only were they small and uncomfortable but then they didn't recline? Why was that taken away? And why was that not mentioned when I bought the ticket? I might have chosen a different flight and paid more if I knew that ahead of time.
I was instructed to put my carry on under my seat, because it was a backpack, not a wheeled carrying. It it almost the same size as a wheeled carrying, soni had no legroom for the flight and could not even put my feet flat on the floor. I spent the entire flight with my ankle and knee twisted and could barely walk by the time we landed. As other travellers boarded, the same flight attendant allowed them to put their small backpacks in the overhead bins, along with their wheeled carry ons. There were empty luggage bins when the plane took off. Air Canada clearly does not care.about the comfort of their passengers.
