Cons: "It was great. . .We thought a 16 hr flight would be gruling, but it was not at all!! Comfortable seats with plenty of room and lots of bathrooms. The flight attendants were awesome"
Pros: "Entertainment and board WiFi excellent"
Cons: "Boarding was a surprise, at least 200 m walking in the light rain, no previous warning."
Cons: "Terrible service and all around outcome. Would not fly Air New Zealand again"
Cons: "The snack were very simple. They don't communicate properly all the different snack options."
Pros: "Food was delicious. They served dinner and breakfast. The flight was not crowded. I was able to sleep by stretching across 3 economy seats in my row."
Cons: "It would be better if the armrests went up."
Pros: "The food in Premium Economy was good and there are plenty of movies to choose from. The staff were lovely."
Cons: "I had paid for Premium Economy and was seated in Row 30. The passengers were boarded up to row 28, then from to back of the plane forward then I was boarded with the last remaining passengers. That was not what I feel should have happened. I did not like the footrest on the seats."
Cons: "Had to pay for most movies. They need to bring around water more often and actually offer it to window seats rather than handing a glass to the aisle and walking off."
Cons: "They need to bring around water more often. And actually offer it to people in the window seat."
Pros: "The option to gate check strollers for easy access with a toddler"
Cons: "The stroller wasn't delivered to the gate by Air New Zealand"
Pros: "Very fun and attentive crew. Always food and drinks available. Very comfortable seats and lots of options for movies and activities."
Cons: "Nothing#"
Pros: "The seating was very uncomfortable and cramped I"
Cons: "I’m really not sure. The seat felt like I was sitting on a rock and I had a lot of trouble moving so as not to disturb the person seated next to me."
Pros: "The Q-suite is exceptionally comfortable and the door really does make a difference. I usually have difficulty sleeping but the isolation from aisle traffic and ambient noise reduction was enough to allow some very good sleep. Staff experience was also exceptional - friendly and highly competent, looking to go the extra mile. Food was great and full menu available upon request."
Cons: "I did not find a gap"
Pros: "Excellent service on both flights. Truly a 5 star experience. Well done Qatar Airways."
Cons: "Nothing. Keep up the good work"
Pros: "Flight"
Cons: "Wheelchair was booked for me for both flight but i could not get that service. No one available for wheelchair. Very bad service."
Pros: "Everything"
Cons: "They are the best and air Canada should learn from them"
Pros: "Entertainment and food is always great with Qatar!"
Cons: "After I got in my seat an Islamic lady came and said that I was in her seat. I looked at her ticket and while it was the right seat number, she was on the wrong flight. I got a stewardess to help her. She had gone through 3 boarding pass checks and was still on the wrong flight. They let her fly!"
Pros: "The Crew were professional, friendly and comforting. The A380 Business Class is the best way to fly. Smooth journey, very comfortable reclining beds with enough room to within the bed area to move around with adequate space. The Wine list was excellent with a great choice and variety."
Cons: "Nothing to do with the flight...but Qatar could have offered an airport hotel room to their Bus. Class passengers for the 9 hour delay....we did have the Lounge, but a shower, rest and comfort after another previous 5 hour 30 minutes flight from Athens 11.30am Start to 2.00am start from Doa."
Pros: "Everything was just average to poor."
Cons: "Baggage was not handled properly. Food is just average. Crew looked very tired, they are probably too much overloaded with work and the airline has poor scheduling of shifts for their crews."
Pros: "Seat was comfortable and leg room was pretty decent in economy class when compared to other airlines"
Cons: "Extra leg room, little bigger seats"
Pros: "The Crew was amazing, the service social excellent. The Seat were so cramp, the best sales point fort business class"
Cons: "More space for shoulder and legs. Espicially for a 11h flight"
Pros: "Crew was nice"
Cons: "Lots of empty seats... during covid/social distancing there should only be 2 ppl in a row especially if there is room...it was crowded and not consistent with signs posted saying stay 6 ft apart"
Pros: "Fasting boarding"
Cons: "didn’t care for the food given out. Didn’t really get to know the staff."
Cons: "I was asked to move from the front of the plane to the second to last row without a thank you or any kind of appreciation..."
Pros: "Our flight attendant was very polite and with a great attitude."
Cons: "The pilot arrived late because he went for a Tim Horton's coffee (I know that because I was in first row and I heard the flight attendants talking about that). Then, after he finally arrived with a tray full of coffees, there was an issue with the jet's computer and had to reset it and we had to wait even more. When we finally arrived, our Gate was taken by other plane already and we had to wait (more) for the first one to be available for us. Then, when we finally got our Gate, there was another issue, now with the "finger". They weren't able to move it and connect it to the plane to get off of it. So we had to wait AGAIN. And finally as soon as we got off the plane, they were supposed to give us our carry ons on the aisle (Because it was a small plane CR700) , but again, we had to wait almost 10 minutes so that they could send the luggage... To make things worse, I had a first class ticket and I couldn't get the perks of it at the airport. Because they said I wasn't flying in an international flight. Come on?! Canada->USA->Mexico is not International??? You lost me AA."
Pros: "Plane was maybe 70% capacity so had space to stretch out. Entertainment selection was great if you had a WiFi device AND enough power remaining."
Cons: "The interior was embarrassing. How a global airline flies planes with interior fixtures dating 30+ years old. Overhead lights didn’t work. No modernized power options (they had cigarette lighter adaptors in between seats. Crew disengaged but could be the interior atmosphere that made them that way."
Cons: "Onboard entertainment was not reliable on one of our TVs, and the earphones ports barely worked, had to hold the plugs to hear. MinimL food choices, and you had to go to the rear of the plane to get it. Staff on plane was not super friendly."
Pros: "I like nothing!!!!!"
Cons: "My flight was canceled and company didn’t give any other flight.... any compensation for it...."
Pros: "Game of Throne as a boxset"
Cons: "if my return flight was by AA rather than another operator"
Pros: "The crew was great. The seat was adequate but NOT comfortable. The request/requirement for only the wheelie bags to be in the overhead and everything else to be under the seat was EXCELLENT. Thank you for organizing the amount of “stuff” people carry on to the plane."
Cons: "I needed a little back support pillow..."
Cons: "Jammed plane. At origin we were asked to check carry on at the gate to save overhead space. Bags never made the plane. We had our stubs but when we arrived at destination or at layover none was able to help. Bag tags had been removed at origin and bags were opened to determine who they belonged to. Plus wheelchair had armrest broken off."
Pros: "The crew was very attentive"
Cons: "As much as the flight was truly very good and the crew very friendly and helpful as much as the equipment (airplane, seats, entertainment) really shabby and certainly not worth the the 2500,00 $ I paid for a better seat. I could of flown with Air transat and get better than I got with Air Canada. I feel it was rip off. Quality - price not there . Please give your crew a better uniform. The ones they wear now is very sad and oldish looking. If I think this and am 67 years old, imagine what the younger generation thinks."
Pros: "Everything was perfect on the flight. The service, the food and the crew."
Cons: "Seats are a bit small. Not very comfortable and touch screen of entertainment system was slow."
Pros: "Nothing..you're going from one airline to another one... N the schedule is was changed without notice..."
Cons: "First I get to the airport in Montreal to fly with Lufthansa.as I bought my ticket with Lufthansa.. ..made line for about 15 min they tell me it is not with them, it is with air canada..no reason why...so I did made line again..the hours of that fly were the same.. but when I landed in Geneva somebody is waiting for me to tell me my fly has been cancel..so I had to fly to Zurich instead and not only that I had a meeting today getting into barcelona but with the new schedule instead of arriving to 400 pm I ended up getting there at 730pm..and to add to this it is a 4 days trip so I already lost one..and I still not in Barcelona so will see what happens to my bag."
Cons: "Lack of communication. Crew was unattentitive and seemed to not know protocol or appear to have things under the control."
Pros: "The passengers, the Brussels airport retail area, 1 of the flight attendants who was polite and welcoming, and the entertainment selections. Finally being connected to Swiss staff."
Cons: "The crew was not very welcoming and was borderline rude when I asked any sort of question such as why I was not allowed to wear my headphones prior to take off. I was patient in not wearing them, but could not relaxing into the trip for the 40+ minutes we remained on the ground mostly not moving. I was tired when boarding and fumbled with my documents and was very curtly told to just hand them over. Another time I accidentally mistook headphones the stewardess was handing out for something else. I took a pair and then immediately gave them back with an apology that I didn't realise what they were, but thanked her anyway. This was met with a scowl and a bit of opposition. There was one stewardess that was very nice and accommodating out of the entire crew. On top of this the toilet seat on the plane was broken, so it fell on you when you were trying to go to the bathroom, and the soap dispenser was broken. I didn't dare mention these things to the flight crew though. The plane was late taking off from Montreal, and so was late landing in Brussels. No effort was made to provide connections assistance, or provide directions on where to go to rebook our missed connections. I and all others traveling to Zurich spent the entire morning trying to find anyone from Air Canada to help us rebook our flights. We literally were going from desk to desk between two terminals, and consulting each other as we went to limit the amount of leg work we all had to do. We all had to finally leave the terminal area and go to Swissport and stand in a long slow line. By that time any afternoon flight was already overbooked. So I and a group of other passengers were booked for an evening flight which forced me to book a hotel in Zurich because I couldn't get to where I needed to be that evening. After being rebook, I still tried to get on an earlier flight by going directly to the gate. It was confirmed that there was some extra space available, but they would not switch me to the earlier flight because I had a checked bag that I could not separate me from. Ultimately my bag was lost which made me have to stay awake and in the Zurich airport even longer after I finally arrived going from one lost baggage representative to another, and then waiting in another line to finally fill out paperwork because my bag had never been scanned in Brussels. The Zurich representatives were very polite, helpful, and efficient compared to anyone I encountered in Montreal, or Brussels. I was without my bag for 3.5 days of what was supposed to be a 10 day trip. My trip was reduced to 9 days because I spent an entire day in the Brussels airport and then had to spend the night in Zurich. I arrived in Zurich on Saturday night, and received my bag on Tuesday afternoon. All in all it was not a good experience until I got to Switzerland."
Pros: "Where do i start? It’s a short flight to be sure but air canada planes never feel like many Other airlines’ mini planes or puddle jumpers. they seem new, spacious, seat back Entertainemnt, just great. Also, there is no scrimping on Service. How many Delta or united or American flights have i taken on this route only to be told “coffee or water” and sometimes no coffee “the flight is too short”. Nonsense! Granted I was in business, but I had a full hot breakfast served and a full array of beverages offered. It AC can do it, everyone can. The flight attendant was lovely."
Cons: "The flight was too short :)"
Pros: "Boarding was easy"
Cons: "This was a +10 hour trans Atlantic flight. We walked on and immediately noticed there were no TV screens. I expected that the crew would be handing out portable screens instead which would have been ok but pretty inconvenient. This was not the case. We asked the crew and were told that to have entertainment for the flight we would have to download the Air Canada flight into our OWN devices and connect to the airplane wifi. They also explained that you can't download the app while connected to the airplane wifi so anyone who wanted entertainment had to scramble to download the app while we were still on the ground and Use cellular data! at this point 300 people were either panicking because they didn't have a personal device with them, didn't have a charger for their device and so would have power issues or were forced to use up roaming data because they had non Canadian phone plans!!! At the very least staff should have told passengers about this setup while they were waiting at the gate, so that people would have time to download the app with airport wifi! add to all this the fact that the app was extremely low quality and the options for movies/show were disappointingly dated and limited. This was not officially a cheap low cost flight for my family but the service we got certainly would categorize it as such. Very disappointed."
Pros: "They provided a meal, a snack, and plenty of beverages. The crew was pleasant, attentive, and helpful."
Cons: "Our flight was delayed three hours. My flight and one other were the last to leave that night. There were no TVs on this flight. The only way to watch movies was on a smart phone or electronic device through their app. My poor old fashioned dad, didn't bring his phone so he would have just sat there for seven and a half hours if I didn't let him borrow mine. AirCanada's alternative is to rent an iPad from them, just another way for airline companies to get money out of us. The movie choices on their app were bad and older. International flights usually have new movies to so it is less likely passengers have seen them already."
Pros: "Roomy plane."
Cons: "Restroom no working for disabled. Boarding was disorganized and chaotic."
Cons: "No entertainment no snacks no checked in luggage. You have to pay to rent iPad to watch inflight movies as pay for earphones. Air Canada has become a premium priced airline with extra low cost /no frills service. Sad and disappointing. Last time I am flying with AC. Rather book cheaper airlines and know what to expect than pay a premium and get even less than the low cost option. Boarding staff was rude pushing people etc"

Internet was not working for a bet . Hard to order food with our credit card because it was not in your system .

Booked economy through United - air canada treated it as standby and was almost refused boarding.

Pros: "The airline tried to keep us as comfortable as possible in the airport. The crew was fantastic."
Cons: "Since we were in DC, I don't know why it took four hours to bring in another plane, since we were so close to major cities."
Pros: "Crew in flight was nice and professional Sit in 1st class was comfortable"
Cons: "For this flight everything was good"
Pros: "Timeliness, professional staff and crew"
Cons: "Less cramped airplane: there is nothing wrong with the plane itself but every time I have travelled this route the plane has been completely full (this time it was even oversold) so a bigger plane would help"
Pros: "The flight was easy and quick. These small planes are actually pretty comfortable."
Cons: "Waiting for a gate in Chicago is never fun. Most people on the plane seemed to have tight connections, and I'm guessing most of us missed them. I only made mine because the next flight was delayed."
Cons: "Dang the seats are just small in the coach area. Great smooth flight and my bag arrived where it was supposed to be. Cant complain there"
Cons: "Rough landing in Washington, smell of kerosene in Sao Paulo flight, otherwise good."
Pros: "The connection time Mach very well。"
Cons: "I learned that 3 flight together long hours have no food been sever and we have time to get food from airport. Next time I will do better☺。"
Pros: "..."
Cons: "All of my fligts has been delayed and resceduled, so instead of 18 hours to go to hawaii, it took me 36h"
