Cons: "The connecting flight to Halifax was a long haul at the end of B terminal. Same airline, just really far away! Maybe it has to be that way due to the international arrival, but it was stressful. Wear tennis shoes! Flight attendants were efficient but not as friendly as the Toronto folks. The advertised “power at every seat” did not work."

Cons: "I think the seats on westjet are ridiculous, are they smaller than other planes. I was practically in the lap of the person next to me. I'm 5'7 and I couldn't even rest my head on my knees to stop the extreme motion sickness. I couldn't even finish my flight today because I couldn't stand the nausea and I couldn't rest in a seat 2 sizes too small for a regular sized person. I had to lay down and when it didn't subside I had to find accommodation. I will never fly with westjet again. But thanks you know for the pretzels."

Pros: "The flight over all was good. Service, and delivery of the expectations were good. Even though the items listed in the dislike are 3 in number, and added to an uncomfortable experience, some of them are identifiable as beyond control, yet others are within the control of system set up or process."
Cons: "small items that I didn't like were : 1) Temperature, and 2) wifi 3) waiting for electrical. 1) Temperature: When boarding the plane the Temperature of the cabin was extremely warm. The pilot advised of the condition, this was not something that could have been fixed and I think they handled it well. I just didn't like the 90+ temperature 2) Wifi: was intermittent, I ensured the Westjet app was the only one running, but the movie I was watching was pausing every 15 minutes to buffer. So it was a constant reminder of dial up.... 3) waiting for electrical: Upon landing and taxi-ing to the ramp, the pilot was advised that there was no electrical to support the plane after he turned off the engines. So good that he waited, thank you pilot, and not so good as it was another unpleasant item on the plane ride."

Cons: "Westjet will nickel and dime you for everything. Did a +9h flight from Vancouver to London and no meal is included during the whole flight. They keep trying to upsale you for everything. Not only is the food expensive it is also real garbage. Flight was delayed by 75 minutes and nearly missed my connection. Of course no checked baggage is included in your already expensive ticket. You have to fork in another 30$ for the privilege of checking luggage. WestJet pretends to offer 200-300$ cheaper plane tickets compared to the competition, but this is false. I found plenty of other flights for same or even cheaper prices with quality airline companies like Lufthansa or Air Canada that include a meal and checked baggage and other perks, but in my case I had already booked. I really recommending you looking for other airline companies for any flight that is not short haul. WestJet's slogan is an airline company with owner that care... Whatever the hell that means. Maybe someone can explain? WestJet brags about it's outstanding customer service while at the same time cutting every corner possible on service. Kind of a contradiction."
