Pros: "Good legroom,"
Cons: "Older aircraft, tray tables not level, rear washrooms no water, delayed departure"

Cons: "Check in was just awful. Then a three hour delay and no one was forthcoming."

Pros: "Crew, seats and entertainment. Unfortunately a rude passenger in front that put their seat back too far and refused to compromise so didn’t have much leg room over a 6 hour flight."
Cons: "Ran out of half the food options halfway down the plane."

Pros: "Timely. Best entertainment."
Cons: "Very disappointed with the seat. Then placed us next to women with children. No rest for us at all. Also no blankets provided. Others had."

Cons: "Our flight was delayed from Honolulu. This made Customs and Screening stressful...as there was only 45 minutes to get through and then to the gate. No one advised that there was another plane shortly, which would have reduced the feeling that we had to sprint down to the gate. Otherwise a very good flight"

Pros: "Slight delay due to mechanical issues"

Pros: "Prompt boarding"
Cons: "Timing of flight from Phoenix"

Cons: "24 hour delay due to mechanical issues"

Pros: "The flight attendants were polite but didn’t go out of their way to help out."
Cons: "No room to store carry on and nobody seemed to care that all space was taken close to our seats. We felt penalized because others abused the system while we were trying to follow the rules."

Pros: "getting of the plane!"
Cons: "the bed bugs, no lights, no comfort, the cold, very limited service"

Pros: "It was comfirtable"
Cons: "They charged you for earphones. On our flight to St. John’s they didn’t charge for earphones. The flight from Toronto to St. John’s was delayed almost 4 hours because a deicing machine guy thought he saw a blemish on the tail of the plane. After that we went to maintenance, after that our flight crew timed out and we went back to the gate, deplaned and waited. Then we got back on THE SAME PLANE and never arrived until 8pm. We should’ve been there at 3pm and lost almost 1/2 a day of our vacation. I will never take this airline again!!!!!"

Pros: "NOTHING"
Cons: "Customer service, boarding, check in desk, LITERALLY EVERYTHING WAS 3rd CLASS WILL NEVER FLY WITH THIS AIRLINE EVER AGAIN EVEN IF THE TICKE IS FREE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE"

Pros: "we had to pay for everything"

Cons: "My problem is when United uses Air Canada the privileges that United gives don't exist and they treat you like anyone else... If I'm gold status with United theb I should be with Air Canada as well"

Pros: "Crew was friendly"
Cons: "Air Canada was a disaster on our vacation. Delays, re bookings, cancellations. Every thing was told to us as an excuse from the weather, flight attendant was running late, not staffed enough, need supplies on the plane, someone died, planes needing de-icing, planes too small, planes overbooked... you name it they said it! New York to Toronto, Toronto to Edmonton and return. Not one single flight was on time! We got put in a Hotel - only nice part of the trip - got Vouchers for $15 each - such a low amount!!! Didn't get our luggage with our clothes and amenities to use at the hotel - had to sleep in our plane clothes. Spend extra money we didn't have... it was awful! We will be staying away from Air Canada for awhile!"

Pros: "Comfortable aisle seat"
Cons: "Better first class deals"

Pros: "Seats in business."
Cons: "The food."

Cons: "We were sitting in the exit row 27 and it was extremely cold to the point where my 79 year old dad had to put on a sweater and a jacket for it to be barely tolerable. "we froze". After numerous requests to raise the temperature we gave up."

Pros: "Flight attendant was helpful when I had a personal health issue."
Cons: "Pay for snacks on a 5 hour flight? What do you really get for a ticket that cost over $500. US? I paid for noodle soup. They gave me a fork to eat it after they bumped into me and spilled the hot liquid on my sleeve and slacks. Then when I went to eat it I realized that the noodles were not cooked through. they were rubbery. the liquid was tasty, but with a fork how much can you taste. Ended up giving it back after eating about 1/4 of it. Seats had no leg room even though was a larger plane. Had restless leg from the very beginning. Legs were in pain the whole time."

Pros: "The waiting room before boarding was big and comfortable. Staff was very friendly."
Cons: "Children running around because there wasn't anything to do. Passengers ignoring no food and drink signs. A passenger had a nut allergy so no food could be eaten or served with nuts. I understand this serious health risk, but passengers need to be handed out free of charge crackers or cookies if they were counting on eating their own snack. Passengers were putting both their carry on and personal item in the over head storage and therefore there wasn't enough storage for those would only wished to store one item."

Pros: "Nice crew- efficient boarding"
Cons: "One bathroom for all of economy. Poor snacks. No chance to get electronic boarding passes"

Cons: "I only had one gripe about this flight and my one other flight on Air Canada Rouge; the overhead bins are very poorly designed. I purchased a carry on bag specifically to meet their regs, yet it had it go in the bin longways, taking up a ton of room. The bins are tall, which is wasted space, when what they really need is another 1-2" in depth."

Pros: "The flight back to Newark was good. Boarding was smooth and crew kept walking around with water to keep everyone hydrated."
Cons: "The plane was old and cramped and entertainment system had issues. Movie choices were not that great."

Pros: "The snack selection is excellent"
Cons: "No complaints"

Pros: "I liked that the crew was awesome. Super nice and helpful!"
Cons: "The tray from my seat was still wet and the seat was to uncomfortable. Needed to use travel pillow to sit on"

Cons: "Check in was slow and confusing."

Pros: "Food service was good and staff was nice"
Cons: "Staff did not come often enough with water. Not as many snacks as I have gotten on Korean Airlines and Japan Airlines. Definitely better than American Airlines or United Airlines flights which are the worse example of how to provide excellent food and service. Short time allowance for flights connections since most flights from Chicago start off late. Look to carriers such as Luftansa, Jordan Air, Turkish Air as the right way to do things."

Cons: "Same as above. Flight delayed by 45 minutes. No explanation given as to why... no inclement weather or other issues that day."

Pros: "Flight delayed we wait 1:30 with 4 child and we were already there 5 hours before coming from miami and air canada do not offer anything for the delay"

Pros: "The crew was pleasant, and the boarding and de-planing process went smoothly."
Cons: "The plane was really cold, and we were told that they couldn't adjust the temperature, but we could have a blanket - at a cost. We have heard from other people who travelled Rouge about how cold their flight was, too. I also didn't realize that there wouldn't be in-flight movies - unless you rented an i-pad, etc. That was a bit disappointing for a 6-hour flight. I think that I would rather have paid a little higher fee for the flight and have some of the things built into the ticket than have to keep paying out money for all the different things."

Pros: "Flight was smooth; love being able to track route. Got in early."

Pros: "Because of the snow storm in Canada, there were delay. Air Canada improved a lot since the last time I travelled with them maybe 3 years ago. They are nice and want to help us. Since there were a delay at MCO, I had less time to catch my flight at Montréal. Everyone was helping. They look at us and smile. We don't seem to disturb them like before. There were an exeption with the woman at the Air Canada desk (MCO)for the luggage and at boarding who was annoying by my question and demand. She was the only one like that. Other passenger also notice it Everything went well also when I travel on my way to Orlando Nov 30."

Cons: "Plane way too cold, seat would not recline"

Pros: "I liked the variety of entertainment options on the iPad app."
Cons: "Unless you knew ahead of time that the entertainment system was housed entirely in an app, you wouldn't know that you needed to have a smart phone or tablet on the flight and needed to download the app. A few people in our traveling party either didn't have a smart phone or tablet, or had trouble downloading the app while on the flight. Also, a few people had issues with the app freezing while in use. There was very little legroom between seats, resulting in an uncomfortable flight. We flew economy on our connecting flight, and the seats were much more comfortable. My reading light didn't work using my button, but it turned on & off during the flight like it might have been connected to someone else's button. There weren't individual air vents for passengers, so some of us were very hot and some were very cold."

Pros: "Roomy, professional, friendly. Very efficient. Beverages, meals and snacks were timed well, so that the long flight felt like it went much quicker. I'm not particularly picky or spoiled, so me rating the breakfast and lunch as great, may not be the same fOr others. But my meals were delicious to me. I would definitely fly Canada air again."
Cons: "No complaints."

Pros: "The crew was friendly"
Cons: "Seats are extremely small and cramped. Temperature was too cold during the flight and there wasn't even a fan on so it was the cabin temperature which couldn't be adjusted. In addition No blankets or cushions were provided. The leg room was horrible. I'm only 5'5" and I felt cramped, so I can't imagine how it would feel for someone taller. also, no one checked bags due to the newly imposed fee so everyone crammed their luggage into the overhead compartments and many of us had no room to store our carry-ons and had to put it below our seats, causing even less leg room. the Hawaiian airport also locked out the waiting area for international flights back to Vancouver due to some policy that the area must be locked down until the plane has arrived and everyone is off the plane. Many of us were sitting on the ground outside in the non-air conditioned hallway in front of the stores like homeless people for over 2 hours. Luckily seniors were sitting on wheelchairs and did not have to wait while standing or sitting on the ground. They finally let us in 20 minutes before boarding but really by then it made no difference."

Cons: "Not even one single snack for free"

Pros: "Crew is quite young and friendly.. good service. Boarding was quick and easy. Blanket and neck pillow package were comfy and worth the $7"
Cons: "The plane was FREEZING and the seats are a bit cramped."

Pros: "Air canada needs a serious serious overhaul of the way they treat their customers especially those working at the Toronto airport I find their employees have an "entitlement" mentality that other carriers do not Customer service seems to be a priority not talking to your coworkers about the weekend while serving your customers"
Cons: "There was one employee who suggested to take an earlier flight and was very helpful Little things go along way"

Pros: "More leg room"
Cons: "Horrible seats"

Pros: "Was really tired as just arrived from Tokyo, but it went well. Folks nice."
Cons: "Airport signage and boarding was a bit confusing, as our announcements overlapped with the gate next door and couldn't tell difference easily."

Pros: "Everything was average."
Cons: "Not all food available on the food catalog menu."

Pros: "all went well -timely flight, smooth, courteous and efficient staff."

Pros: "Plane was late due to Stewart missing the bus from their hotel?...seriously unprofessional and the check in staff lying to customers to accommodate others customers from an undeparted flight from the night before?...attempting to change my flight due to this?...seriously need to do better Air Canada...and to top it all off you are served by a snotty unprofessional group of stewards?....a huge JOKE!....won't be flying this airline again and I will be spreading the word!"
Cons: "Seriously?"

Cons: "LONG DELETED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Pros: "We had a pretty uneventful flight from Tampa to Toronto using Air Canada. That is a good thing. The airline offers complementary juices and drinks of the nonalcoholic variety. No complaints."

Pros: "Full flight operated professionally and politely. Good range of food and drink for purchase only."

Pros: "Wide seats."
Cons: "Small leg space. No window by seat. The seating map did not make this known, otherwise I would have chosen another seat."

Cons: "I booked my seat 24 hours prior to my flight and I got a different seat at check in. Not happy at all."
