Etihad seems to have a very strict luggage enforcement. I am a very light passenger compared to other passengers which are mainly heavier. I do not understood why airlines enforce the weight restriction so strictly. I was overweight luggage of 1.5kg, but am probably 10+kg lighter than the average passenger. Other airlines are far more accommodating. Poor customer service as far as I am concerned. If weight is such an important issue to an airline they should charge passengers by total amount of body weight plus luggage. To me just ridiculous.

After paying for seats, I was cramped, my daughters legs kept hitting the seat in front, I had no overhead bin space and no help from stewards on board, the food was served cold, when asked for snacks was told to wait and never received any, the flight was cold with no temperature controls. Flight was delayed due to slow boarding process by etihad. Update food options and movies as well.
Extremely bad food, they never gave our bags in time, the online check-in did not let us check in because we had Indian OCI not sure why we were given the option to check in then, because we couldn’t check in online we had to go in person and we were not able to change our seats and sit with our family

The flight take time was changed 23 times. The system kept sending messages it will be earlier at 4am and eventually the flight was at 9am I didn’t sleep all night because of that
There was no food other than pretzels or a single cookie for a 4.5 hour flight. The in-flight entertainment system was not available on the back of the seat - instead I had to use my cell phone and the plane's wifi - which drained my battery even though my phone was plugged into the seat ahead of me and should have been charging - it did not. Very irritating.
We stood for a long time beyond the gate before any boarding occurred. Other than that, it was fine. It helped that it wasn't a full plane.
Like- beer/wine for free Dis-like- all other aspects- customer service was horrible the entire trip. No help from Air Canada after they changed flight 6+ hours later. Also they put us on standby for no reason. Then almost 2 hours to get our bags after we arrived back at airport
Flight was delayed but the real issue is how long we sat after boarding. Space very limited for an overnight flight and seatbacks didn’t recline so it was almost impossible to sleep.

As an economy flyer, food review is largely irrelevant. I am unhappy with this race to the bottom for services provided especially as it applies to baggage restrictions.

The plane seats were very uncomfortable, hardly any padding left and very narrow, Makes a long oversea flight very difficult. The food is served with minimal space so its hard to eat. They really need to have planes with more room for overseas!

Somehow, my booking was under my preferred name instead of my legal name so they almost didn’t let me board the plane at LAX. This problem should have been notified to me when I was still in Toronto.
