But she presented the two options to the fellow passenger behind us. We were extremely offended by the way we were treated. The airlines offers no entertainment for children as do other airlines. In fact, one air hostess went so far as to ask me to tell my Lil one to MUTE the volume of his ipad."

The attendant who served dinner came across as rushed. Like he was on a schedule or something. Are you guys timing the attendants? I personally felt he was rushed and cared more about dumping the tray in my lap than about looking me in the face and making human contact. 5. I fly to Amsterdam a lot and prefer the direct flights, ie KLM or United. So far KLM is winning me over in terms of service. I do think though that United can make easy improvements and provide better service. Remember, you are transporting people, not packages. Good luck."

So good that he waited, thank you pilot, and not so good as it was another unpleasant item on the plane ride."

You have to fork in another 30$ for the privilege of checking luggage. WestJet pretends to offer 200-300$ cheaper plane tickets compared to the competition, but this is false. I found plenty of other flights for same or even cheaper prices with quality airline companies like Lufthansa or Air Canada that include a meal and checked baggage and other perks, but in my case I had already booked. I really recommending you looking for other airline companies for any flight that is not short haul. WestJet's slogan is an airline company with owner that care... Whatever the hell that means. Maybe someone can explain? WestJet brags about it's outstanding customer service while at the same time cutting every corner possible on service. Kind of a contradiction."

Cons: "I didn't like the check in, the personnel there were not so friendly and had discrepancies. We were a group of 6, and 2 of us were able to drop the bag in the check in. But the others were told that needed to wait 30 mins."
Pros: "In cabin crew was attentive and friendly. Food was good and came at good times. Middle bathroom on Airbus 380 was big and comfy."
Cons: "Boarding was not too well organized and I followed Security's direction who put me in wrong line and I wasn't able to board with my priority group. Sitting in exit row with no floor storage so this delay made it hard to find overhead storage above my seat. (Grrrr) Entertainment system didn't work which made the flight feel LOOONG. (They offered an in-flight credit, but I'd paid for premium exit row seat and had to choose between moving to working system in crowded middle seat or keep premium, exit seat. I decided to have them move me to a seat with a working entertainment system, which were available and they'd offered, but never happened.) When I got home, I discovered the gift I purchased with in-flight credit and my own money wasn't the one I'd requested from Duty Free catalog so now I have to figure out how to solve this problem. (COULDN'T GET IT RIGHT.) Premium exit row seat was narrow, due to in-seat tray table & entertainment system, but seatbelt mounts and thinly padded seat made it even more uncomfortable on a long flight."

Cons: "It was one problem after another during check in. And it was difficult to find help in English so I couldn't really tell what was going on. In the end I was tucking to get checked in because they were insisting I use a kiosk but I was telling them that the kiosk said to see an attendee. It was not efficient and I felt like a burden asking for help when there was nothing else I could do on my own."
Pros: "The time of the flight was great as well as the arrival time and subsequent connections to Paris. Enjoyed the rather full line of in flight beverages!"
Cons: "Leaving late seemingly without reason from Paris - chaotic boarding line in Paris with difficult to hear PA. Seats were ok'ish but than again, it's a 45 minute flight. The sandwich was gross and I'm somewhat known as a person who eats everything!"

AF without our knowledge downgraded one member, separating a mother from her 3 year old daughter. They offered no compensation, no apology, and CDG ground crew was terribly rude. All anyone said was, nothing to be done, now please Leave"

Cons: "One of the engine was smoking just as we took off. This should have been checked beforehand that it was working correctly. The pilot missed the first landing, was going too fast and had to turn around. We circled the London eye 3 times. When we were actually landing it was extremely bumpy and on the way down the plane was tilting back and forth a lot. They were going too fast when we landed as well, I have never been in a plane that has landed so poorly, and I have travelled a lot and used many different airlines. It was worse than any budget airline I've been on. As we were driving back to the terminal, the pilot stopped short for some reason. Things were not explained clearly. I will not be flying with airfrance again and will be sure to spread the word of this awful experience."

As well, the plane was brand new, leather seats and entertainment system. There was water and a blanket waiting for you at your seat once you boarded. They were very efficient and the crew made the trip a pleasant journey. Would highly recommend!"
