Waited 7 hours at the airport and now I have no way to locate my luggages because they were checked with tags to a flight that was delayed twice and then canceled last minute. I was told my luggages would be routed to my final destination but they’re not here .

Crew was super nice/friendly. I never felt like a special request was any bother to them. Beer was free. Dinner was excellent. Breakfast sandwich was wierd, but edible (I ate the cheese only). Fruit cup was good. Tea was good. The crew was fine when I just needed to stand around a bit (near their space). WCs were clean. Seat was mostly comfortable. IT was nice that a pillow and small light blanket came with every seat.. Great selection of films and visuals entertainment. I esp. enjoyed the flight views and the view from underneath the airplane (and watching the wheels come out and touch down at landing!). That was really cool.

The two on either side of me were disrespectful of my personal space and were very inappropriate. I got up and went to the galley behind my seat to ask the stewardesses to get me another seat. During this time the guys kept coming back to this galley for more wine still taking two at a time. The stewardesses explained that the plane was full. Others complained also. I then asked the stewardesses if since they were over serving these guys, would they trade one of their jump seats with me. At this point they cut the guys off and got the pursar. She talked to them and ignored my personal safety concerns and said no one gets on a plane drunk (yeah, right) and that they would now behave and were asleep. That's why they are still talking at the top of their lungs and standing in the aisle? I asked. I wish I had video recorded this, I did not as others with kids in the aisles across from me did. I hope their videos go viral Not impressed with Lufthansa"

Munich website promises that this is possible and that gates are close to each other and if the first flight is late, then someone will help you to your next flight. My first flight was about 10 mins late. Although assistance was provided to people connecting to some of the other flights, no-one helped me with my connection. I asked two ground staff and was just told to make my own way to the next gate, which was not close. It was in a different terminal! After literally running through two terminals, I did not make it to the gate in time and had to wait for the following flight which got me home over three hours late. Lufthansa did give me a five euro meal voucher though (which doesn't buy very much in an airport cafe)."

Had 80 min from landing to connecting flight. Despite no delays on my behalf and walking briskly, security and customs got me to the gate at the time of departure - only to find that they closed the door of the plane. Gate agent reopened door and we found flight 1/2 full. In subsequent 15 min the flight completely filled. Fortunately GREAT gate supervisor who recognized a problem but in general needed better communication w security process to help those stuck in security.
Experience with Customs a miserable delay- 1 agent unacceptable- causing delays boarding-missing connecting flights- long lines. My luggage was to fly through to Jacksonville Fla- did not arrive. It was tracked & should arrive today. This procedure needs to be replaced.
Not much… woman's bathroom was Disgusting at airport. AirCanada has become the worst ever. No respect at all for peoples luggage, throwing/smashing suitcases. Some employees need to find new jobs, their rude and not happy….. Not too mention AirCanada cannot seem to maintain any schedules at all… constantly changing flight times, gates, etc. It’s time that AirCanada either a) close the business b) replace all rude and luggage beating employees or 3) replace AirCanada’s upper management.. other words revamp it. I will drive and/or fly out of the USA for future flights until they get their company in order.

Now coming back however was far better, the food was good, although can we stop putting soggy food into the mix, I know the food is premade but the mash potato is always so soggy and the vegetable mix has no flavour. Cons: "the good service at the check in and on the plane, or the great entertainment service, are all shadowed by Air Canada service for families with babies. We live in Vancouver and use frequently either Air canada or British Airways. We have a 1 year old baby, and on BA we automatically receive family seats for no extra charge, which have extra leg room and option for a bassinet. even with a 1 year old baby they have a special seat for that age, instead of a bassinet which fits only new born babies, so our 1 year old baby could sleep in a chair for hours on BA flight we just took from London to Tel Aviv. we got to London on a AC flight from Vancouver, where we weren't given family seats unless we paid more, so we had to spend 9.5 hours with a 1 YO baby at our lap, the baby of course was miserable, so we were miserable, but not just us, everyone in our vicinity had to suffer the baby's crying. On the BA flight the baby could sleep in a special chair for older babies, placed where usually a bassinet is placed, or sit on the floor next to our legs (because there's so much more leg room in the family seats), something the 1 YO babies need very much. I will recommend anyone with a baby to never fly with AC, especially when you have great alternatives like BA."

Cons: "Good flight.. but.. (1) GTAA Ground support on luggage is totally inadequate for this aircraft.. a 30 min wait after the long walk from the landing gate and clearing customs. (2) the new flight tracker program is idiotic with unrelated place names flying all over the screen with no clear sense of where we are."

Cons: "I was stuck up against the back galley with no armrest on the aisle but that was only the beginning when the guy in front reclined his seat the seat back it was dangerously close to my head. In the event of turbulence it would have been easy to sustain a massive blow to the head from the seat in front of me during a whiplash type motion. The person that approved this seating arrangement should be terminated."

Cons: "My boyfriend and I were flying from Toronto to Salt Lake City, we didn't pay for assigned seating (because who really wants to dish out extra money for something as silly as that?) and thought that it just meant that we still had seats on the plane and they just might not be next to each other which was fine. We did online check in and having our tickets sent to our phones (his worked fine and mine never came through, yes, we triple checked to make sure my phone number and everything was correct). Both of our tickets ended up saying the seat was GTE so when we got to the terminal (two hours early) the moment an employee was behind the counter we went up to talk to them and they said that we would get a seat on the flight and that it wouldn't be a problem at all for us to sit together. Right before they start boarding an announcement is made that the flight was overbooked (by 8 people!) and they were asking if anyone would be willing to give up their seat and receive compensation (no one would). So, all 8 of us had to go up to the same snarky man who had told us that we WOULD be getting seats and have him explain to us that the next flight isn't until tomorrow and we had to go to the Air Canada customer service desk to get the flight plan figured out. We had to wait 2 hours in line just to talk to someone who tried to make Air Canada out to be the victims (how dare we not want to pay $40 for a seat and because of our frugality poor Air Canada now has to compensate us for the inconvenience AND get us new plane tickets, we should feel so bad for them because they are now losing money). We had to wait for about 40 minutes with this lady because she was either new or not competent enough to figure out how to get us new tickets with Delta (guess why Delta? because Air Canada had already overbooked the flight out for the next day too! Looks like they'll be losing some more money). Oh yeah, she also scolded my boyfriend for having his plane ticket on his phone, because it inconvienenced her. That lady finally left and we finally got help from someone who actually knows what decent customer service is (shout out to Michelle Khan at Air Canada). She was really nice and understanding and was actually able to go through the process of getting us tickets and in a timely manner. She explained that while it is a complete joke, by law flights are allowed to overbook their flights by up to 10% of seats available on the flight. We could understand overbooking by a couple, but really, 8? Never fly with Air Canada."
