Pros: "Entertainment and food were geat and a great distraction from the seating arrangement and the horrible leg area."

Cons: "We did not request special meals because in the past there has always been an option without cheese. For both legs of the trip, everything had cheese. They tasted great, but left my husband eating only bread. At the first meal the crew just shrugged their shoulders. Second meal they brought him a snack from business class, but it had cream cheese on the sandwich. Drinks were only served during the meals on an 8 hour flight. When crew came back through at the first meal, they only had two bottles of wine in hand offering top offs (no cart, just physically carrying the bottles). We do not drink alcohol. During the second meal I did not even see them offering the top offs. All other airlines have at least come through a couple of times offering water or soda. Announcements were only audible half the time. Customs forms were confusing for people passing through Canada. This might have been explained over the intercom, but again, it was hard to hear."

Cons: "We had two legs on Lufthansa and the third was Air Canada. Lufthansa was great; great service, great food. But on Air Canada there was no food on a 5-hr international flight, the video screen didn't work well, and the flight attendant was having a rough day. And we took off at least 30 minutes late due to a couple of technical issues."

Pros: "The flight attendants were very polite and helpful. The seats had those "wings" on either side of the head rest to help keep your head from bobbing back and forth. There were a few good movies to watch that were current, but a lot of old movies that we had zero interest in."

When we got to the airport, we tried to check in at the Lufthansa kiosk and check in line, but they told us we had to go to the Air Canada area. The ticketing/check in process was very confusing. As for the food, the chicken "wrap" was not a wrap, and was a weird Hot-Pocket type meal. After each meal, we ended up having to hold our garbage for quite some time which made manuvering in and out of seats a little tricky. I wish the seat cushion had a little more cushion since we were sitting for so long. Also at some point the overhead lights came on and stayed on, which was annoying if you were trying to nap."

At no point in the booking process, when I paid over $800 for the trip, was I told that I needed a specific travel visa (Canadian ETA) to fly back into Toronto for my return flight. Subsequently when I checked in for my flight yesterday morning in Manchester, England, I did not have the required travel documents and had to be rerouted onto a flight into the U.S. at a cost to me of $350. The rerouted flight got me to Washington Dulles airport, where I then had to purchase a second flight to get me home to Cleveland, Ohio, at an additional/extra cost of $450. MY CAR IS PARKED AT TORONTO PEARSON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT!!! I am having to now rent a car and drive there tomorrow (Friday) to collect my car, at another additional cost of $100 plus a 10-hour round trip. Due to the lack of information and communication on your companies behalf, I am down close to a $1,000 and will lose 2-days in work as of the additional days I am having to travel back to Toronto to collect my vehicle. I would appreciate contact from your organization to find the avenue I need to take for compensation of my time and finances. Regards"

Cons: "This airline has little respect for its customers. In the economy/coach cabin, they squeeze the seat distances to such an extent that, when the person in front of you leans their chair back, you cannot get out of your seat at an upright angle. You have to significantly bend your body. To not loose your balance, you have to grab on to the seat in front of you and that disturbs the other passenger. If they're sleeping, they can be woken up by that. Lufthansa does not care much for its passengers. Nor do many other companies, for that matter, but I think Lufthansa is taking things further than most airlines. It is a disgrace. Their brand is not what it once was."

Cons: "The flight was delayed for 2.5 hours, for a reason they never made clear after they let the passengers wait in line for 45 minutes to board. Once aboard, the Lufthansa planes were much much less comfortable than the Air Canada plane I took to Frankfurt. There is very little space and the seats are crammed together. The food they served was very bad, especially again in comparison with Air Canada. Once we arrived in Toronto, they made us wait nearly an hour before exiting the aircraft. It would seem that the Toronto airport would have to know we were coming and should have prepared accordingly, but apparently not. We sat, several passengers missed their connecting flights and were angry. I nearly missed my flight, having to run and race through customs (who are in no hurry)."

When they arrived on Amsterdam Netherlands Airport they were dropped to the gate assigned first and once the gate changed on the fly no body came to help them moving to the new gate assigned which was far away to walk. Nobody even came to tell them that the gate has been changed. It was because of my father's alertness they didn't miss the connecting flight and when my father asked help to members on airport none of them helped my parents and other 4 co passengers which also were on wheel chairs. It was so scary experience for them that they asked me not to book any more flights with Jet Airways. I won't recommend Jet Airways to any of my friends for their parents to travel to USA. I strongly recommend you guys to take a strict action against this. This is so unacceptable."

Pros: "Crew were very courteous and helpful. Plane was clean, and seemed newer. Seats were comfortable in a 3-3 configuration but as usual space was still tight in economy class."
Cons: "Boarding seemed a little chaotic and it was very crowded. Not enough seating for the number of people who were travelling at the gate at Keflavik."

Pros: "The entertainment system was current and had great selection. I liked that they gave you a water upon boarding."
Cons: "KEF is not equipped for their sudden volume in the airport: seating, food service, line formation, departure formations. All are a mess. There were literally 500 people in line for four different flights in the same corridor departing in a 15 minute window. Plus riding a bus where the doctor was slamming the breaks while squeezing out of a tight spot, with passengers almost falling. Unacceptable. We were like cattle."

Pros: "Greenland. Always get a window seat. Fantastic."
Cons: "I had to run from my incoming flight to the gate because they were "boarding". But they held us in a waiting room and then loaded on a bus in the rain (just above zero temp). There we stood on the bus for 25 minutes with no explanation of the delay. Finally out to the plane where we had to line up in the rain and blistering winds to get on the plane. Ruined my leather jacket."

Pros: "Fast service onboard. so many flight attendants!!"
Cons: "Some menu items weren't carried on this flight. Oh yeah - as I peep at reviews below - Reykjavik airport is super chaotic around departure gates. Probably wasn't built to accommodate the masses and endless international connections. The backlog of travelers is likely caused by another carrier who is known for delayed departures and arrivals."

Pros: "Timely service; being able to fly to Europe from North America with a break. Unbeatable price."
Cons: "Keflavik airport can't handle Icelandair and Wow traffic, and the boarding process was a "cattle rustle""

Cons: "I understand that businesses must expand, and that is no different with the Keflavik airport. In routing passengers through the airport, there were listings for Canada/UK, and US/All Passengers. It was unclear whether this signage was meant for "flights" or "passport." It was actually for "flights" meaning, if you are taking a flight to Canada, use this line; for US flights, use that line. However, many people, myself included, mistakenly assumed that the signage was meant for passports, in other words, US passport holders use this line; Canada/UK passport holders, use that line."

Pros: "Saga club was clean and fairly good."
Cons: "Inflight food was not good. Business class leg room was kind of tight"

Cons: "This was a 5 hour international flight. The only food offered for free was a glass of juice or tea/coffee. I've never had this happen on an international flight!"

Pros: "Very friendly service, boarding and disembarking was fairly smooth. On time departure. Food for purchase was very good."
Cons: "The entertainment system and footrest on my seat were broken. They did make a few efforts to reset the system, but without success and without apologies. The seat was fairly small (I'm skinny/fit in size), but manageable for a Boston to Iceland flight. Slightly confused boarding/herding system, but it seemed to work ok, just limited communication once the process began."

Pros: "staff was very nice and helpful. clean plane. I asked for a can of soda and did receive a full can it was very much appreciated. I was glad the plane was on time and it was a good flight. The last time I booked a flight the service was terrible I was very happy for all improvements."
Cons: "Had to purchase food for the trip. Thought a meal was still going to be served. Also did not like that we were not able to pay with cash."

Pros: "Smooth flight even when descending into Denver with stormy skies."
Cons: "Biggest complaint is that a foot got broken off my largest suitcase somewhere between London and Denver. Not possible of course to tell when that happened, but it makes the suitcase pretty unusable now. A plastic connector for a strap on another suitcase got broken on my outbound journey too. Luggage handlers must be unnecessarily rough with the luggage to make that happen. Not sure I'll fly Icelandair again because of that. I was not able to get the "my journey" screen to work on the screen, but otherwise the video and sound qualities were good and controls worked well. After landing, something made a terrible squeal while taxiing to the airport (landing gear?). If my car sounded like that, I'd surely take it in and get it fixed!"

Cons: "Don't know what they were heating up, but the smell was nauseating"

Pros: "The flight left on time. I appreciate that."
Cons: "Boarding was atrocious. There was a small boarding area and there were 5 flights boarding - 1 at 6:50 and the other 4 at 7pm. So many people standing in line in such a small space. It was very uncomfortable. staggering times would be so much more helpful for that small area. Also, on an 8 hour flight, you should provide some free food. Crew is not overly helpful or happy."

Pros: "Great on time departure from Iceland and an on time arrival in Chicago. Very attentive flight crew."
Cons: "In flight food needs to be purchased."
