Cons: "Online check in was not accessible."
Pros: "Crew was friendly and polite"
Pros: "No food , no entertainment options ."
Cons: "Have the option to purchase food on a 5 hour flight ."
Cons: "I used Kayak to find my ticket and fill out my information (all kayak logos on top of the page and so on). However, when my confirmation email and e-ticket came in, they were issued by Budgetair.com. I had no experience with them and took it to be a reliable website since they were working with Kayak. However, I had to change/cancel my flight because of delayed passport delivery, and this is when everything turned very Ugly! I had to spend an hour over the phone to get connected to an agent with BudgetAir, who disconnected the line within 2 minutes saying: “please hold so I can pull up your information”. This game went on for 6 hours. I tried to connect with the airline directly to make the change, which was not possible since Budgetair had placed a restriction on this ticket. After 6-7 hours, which meant no work for me or lunch because I was sitting behind my desk with a phone on my hand, I got through an agent who was rude and impolite. He took 15 minutes to find flights for the new dates (I did it in 2 minutes on their website), and then told me to pay $315 in extra fess. When I inquired that the prices on your website for the exact same ticket is way cheaper than my original ticket price, he got angry and aggressive. Basically implying that I have no choice to take their offer as is, or let go of my original ticket price of over $2000. Long story short, DO NOT buy from BudgetAir if you like having a peace of mind!"
Pros: "Seats and plane condition"
Pros: "Liked the comfort of the plane, on time, and smooth touchdown"
Cons: "Food was dried out, crew was extremely slow to dispense beverages and food"
Pros: "On time and all fine. Excellent service and good food."
Pros: "Most of the flight there was strong odor of suer smell"
Cons: "Lack of food choices!"
Cons: "I want to seriously complain about Air Canada and Kayak booking systems. I reserved the tickets to Shanghai but there were no place reminding me that I need Canadian VISA to connect flights between two Canadian cities. I am a Chinese citizen who is working at USA and not allowed to change flights in Canada based on the newest government rules. However, in both booking systems, there is no reminders. In my opinion, either Kayak or Air Canada can add a simple checkbox to let the potential guest choose his or her nationality status, then this kind of trouble can be mitigated. We talked and called Air Canada people but no buying. They kept saying this is our responsibility. We bought United Airline tickets at the last minutes and cost us about $2,400 because we cannot wait to get back China to prepare our wedding ceremony and US Visa interview. We are very very disappointed with Air Canada and will keep complaining about this issue. As a service supplier, how cannot you think on behalf of a customer? The air company definitely knows more about government rules than a customer. We did have mistakes of not researching government rules. However, the biggest mistake was we trusted Air Canada and Kayak who we thought had taken care of those kind of issues for us. Thanks."
Pros: "Kind and polite service."
Cons: "Again, very rude staff, not helpful at all."
Pros: "Cancelled my original flight plus 2 hour delay. Crew not exactly nice either."
Pros: "Friendly, helpful crew."
Cons: "Awful headphones"
Pros: "There was no entertainment !"
Cons: "Some of the crew were rude no food or drinks No entertainment of any sort for long trips"
Pros: "Crew was nice."
Cons: "Just before boarding it was announced that there would be no hot water on board and passengers should try to run and get a coffee at the airport. 5 hour flight ahead. I didn't have free hand to carry a coffee on board. So no coffee or tea. Also no water in the bathrooms! All meals for purchase were not loaded so no veggies or any gluten free options for purchase. Wanted to buy Duty Free and was told that it wasn't loaded either for some reason. The cabin was a bit cool and after 4 hours of cold drinks I was a bit chilled and asked for a blanket only to discover that they only sell them to the passengers. Then I got the giggles as they thanked us for choosing Air Canada voted number one airline in North America. Hilarious!!!"
Pros: "Movie selection"
Cons: "Everything was ok"
Pros: "Most parts of the flight were normal - nothing exceptional or problematic"
Cons: "N/a"
Pros: "Friendly folks"
Cons: "My flight was first delayed, then cancelled, and there wasn't even bad weather at either airport. I still don't know why the flight was cancelled. My alternate flight had to be from a different airport and that flight was also delayed. I went from a non-stop flight to a flight with a layover... a 7 hour layover. Was not fun sleeping at the airport. On top of that, I had paid to select my seat and it wasn't honored on the flight back. Somehow I was unassigned because of the flight change during departure but I was still charged."
Pros: "I hated both my trips with Air Canada. I payed extra for a better seat and the one I got was dirty. The tv was NOT working. On top of the 5 hours delay, I hated all the experience. The attendants messages is never clear and focus. It's like Air Canada is employing teenagers with NO work etics or professionalism. I am a frequent flyer and will NEVER flew with Air Canada again. The cheap ticket is not worth the cheap aircraft and cheap service I received."
Cons: "There was absolutely nothing that I found to complain about"
Cons: "dirt and stuff on floor between floor and wall, bad, never seen that before in a nearly new plane"
Pros: "Managed to be on a big plane with leg room. So paid cheap and didn't have to compromise on anything."
Pros: "Easy flight good crew"
Cons: "Lost our baggage"
Pros: "Boarding process was efficient"
Cons: "Entertainment system options did not feature a lot of new content"
Pros: "This was a full sized AB 330-300 which was full. With two aisles - everyone is no more than 1 from an aisle. The desk staff and crew were excellent."
Cons: "They delayed push back for 40 passengers that missed their connection. We left 20 minutes late and arrived only 7 minutes late."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Everything"
Pros: "Everything went very smoothly...quick and easy flight"
Pros: "I had an exit row seat so the extra room was much appreciated."
Cons: "Aircanada's method of multi zone boarding is a mess. Everyone queues up and blocks whatever zones actually can get on. The seat next to the exit door was freezing. The food was horrible. I understand airplane food is bad but this is some of the worst I have had. Our flight our was fine. There was no inflight entertainment for an 8+ hour flight - you had to rent iPads which is crazy these days. We were late to takeoff due to airport traffic which isn't the airlines fault but then because the customs baggage scanning system went down at Montreal my husband missed his connection - was eventually put on my flight after two trips to ticketing and three calls to aircanada but his bag never arrived in Chicago. We are still waiting for it."
Pros: "Food is okay. No delay on time flight I enjoyed it"
Cons: "So far nothing flight attendants are very nice"
Pros: "Crew service in the plane was very nice, plane was cold and clean as it should,"
Cons: "Lost a flight because they closed the door 20 min before departure, no calls where made to passengers ... I was delayed by airport security and by the time I made it to the gate it was already dispatched, flight closed doors 10 min after it was scheduled to board, very efficient boarding crew that left 6 passengers on the ground !! Since it was a short flight between Toronto and Montreal they gabe me a seat in the next flight which had a delay in boarding (30 min) and then delayed departure too another 30 min ... All in all i spent almost 5 hours in the airport for a 1h flight"
Pros: "Amazing crew!"
Cons: "NO LEG ROOM!!!"
Cons: "it was a horrible experience and i will never fly with air canada again. best of luck"
Pros: "The crew was polite and friendly."
Cons: "The seats were very small. I was flying Premium Economy, so it was tolerable, but my daughters were flying economy with very hard seats, very little room, no snacks and no entertainment. It was the Gulag! I can't imagine it being worse for them. On a short domestic flight, it may be tolerable, but for a long international flight across the pond, it was a nightmare! Also, please stop serving those hot pockets as a snack and please stop charging for potato chips and snacks unless you plan to serve a substantial meal! A 400 calorie meal is not going to keep anyone satisfied for 10 hours!"
Pros: "Good selection of TV and film's"
Pros: "It was a good flight overall."
Pros: "price"
Cons: "crew seemed very busy and did not care of passenger request, I had asked mote than 5 times for a cup of water for my 7 years old daughter and nobody came back with it. I had to be more directive to get it finally."
Pros: "The way back there was nobody beside us. Nice to have extra room."
Cons: "On the way back there was only one person in business class. Nobody got bumped up"
Pros: "Efficient"
Cons: "There could be a better snack..."
Pros: "The staff was generally helpful and pleasant."
Cons: "The airport kiosks were down save one. This created unnecessarily longer wait times for everyone,me specially those that were only looking to get a printed Boarding Pass."
Pros: "Not much"
Cons: "Food is awful and the seats are the most uncomfortable I have ever encountered!"
Pros: "Good onboard entertainment"
Cons: "Overhead cabin extremely small compare to US planes"
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Worst flight ever. Had a technical difficulties 3 times in a row. Had to be cancelled and put on the next day and again same thing over and over. So missed all my connections. Cut short my vacation. Will never flight air Canada again."
