But then, she mentioned that the flight was delayed and there was no way that I can made my connection from LA to Indianaplis. So I was given a boarding pass with my suitcase ($25 paid) only to LA. The front desk asked me to try other ways when I arrived LA to see what can be done. When I entered into the gate, your CS changed my flight to UA after I have presented my case. However, I had to pull the suitcase out from Alaska, paid another $25 to United and started the trip all over again. All the while, your crews expected me (an alien from Asia) that I should have known every thing get it through, or to claim my suitcase charges. I am really disappointed for the lack of understanding. To you, it may be something happened so common everyday. To me, I was totally lost to handle this."

Pros: "The male flight attendant was not very attentive. He would serve me first and then lean over my food and drink to serve the guy on the window seat. I had to ask him every time if he could take away my glass and then my wrappers and then my...well everything. Many people from the main cabin came up front to use the first class bathroom, and he didn't stop them. He abruptly woke he up three times with his loud voice talking with passengers...with no regard of the sleeping passengers. He is more suited for the main cabin. He didn't offer any help when I was struggling to put my bag in the overhead bin. He watched as the young lady flight attendant struggled to open the plane door... I did not feel that the cost for first class was worth it. He never responded when I thanked him for each thing he did...nothing...not, "You're welcome" or "my pleasure." So, it was a first class disappointment."

I had no seat assigned and was told I would be seated after all families were taken care of. I waited and waited and finally when everyone was boarded, I checked one last time because I was the only person left in the waiting area and the gate agent totally forgot about me. So she assigned me to a seat that had a wall in front of it and no storage space in the seat in front of me. I was livid. Thankfully I didn’t have to check the instrument but the hassle was a nightmare I really wanted to avoid."

On my way back to HI, she was in my flight and apologized (I didn't even notice her since I was preoccupied) - I told her it was busy and I saw her working it and it was okay. She offered her help in anything and I thought that was super sweet, then she said.. I wont forget this time. Nice touch"

The airline staff did not say a word why the flight was cancelled, but they were kindly enough to put me on a United Airline flight at 1:15pm on the same day. But the UA flight got delayed and delayed, I didn't get on the airplane until 5pm on 9/23. This was such a terrible experience, I wasted 9 hours at the airport and had to cancel so many activities I have planned on 9/23."

Hands down Delta IS THE BEST, there nothing better then having Free movies to pass the time, from TV to HBO and SHOWTIME and Current Movies in the theaters TODAY music, games, etc even free headsets any eye cover to rest ALL FOR FREE Delta isn't so worried about charging for eveything, a happy traveler is a repeat traveler, that is DELTAS GOAL Happy repeat travelers I voiced my displeasure with Hawaiian after finding out on my Day flight over I get charged $10 for blanket n pillow and free ( bad ) meal. Then on red eye home it's free blanket and no food, I can bring my own better food, and blanket which I do, but to charge for entertainment is the worst thing ever, AND EVEN FOR SIMPLE MUSIC WAS A CHARGE, SUCH POOR SERVICE Delta hands down IS CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED PERIOD DELTA DELTA DELTA I'M FOREVER YOUR HAPPY TRAVELER,"

I won't be able to get a seat ahead of time on the way home either which will be an even longer flight (6+ hours) and will likely be stuck in a middle seat yet again. If this is the case with booking through third party sites, I won't do this again."

Cons: "Seat was tight, narrow, uncomfortable and would not recline. One flight attendants was aggressive and taunting but later came back to smooth things over. Pilot announcements were completely garbled due to bad PA equipment. No cockpit communication at anytime were understood by cabin customers. We had the roughest landing I can remember. Prior to boarding, on line check-in was available up to the point where customer is forced to pay $12 for seat assignment, once that is paid, continuation is unavailable--a ruse and a theft. I was informed by check in counter of the $40 bag fee, whether it is carried on or checked. When I asked for clarification, he replied I should have been aware of it prior to speaking to him. I paid the $40 and checked my bag, my only item. On the plane, I see other customers with backpacks, some large backpacks and with personal totes. I wonder what they paid. We all waited 45 minutes for baggage to begin appearing in claim area."

Cons: "Flight took off an hour late, no video monitors on seats for 6 hour flight, all 3 of our bags did not arrive. Sun country unresponsive to trying to locate our bags. I will never fly with them again."

Cons: "When I checked in online the day before, I was only given seats that I had to pay an additional charge! I had already paid for my tickets when I booked the flight. This is ridiculous to check in and be expected to pay an additional charge just to get a seat! No snacks unless you pay for them - also ridiculous."

Then they check all rolling carry-ons before letting the rest of the people on? Whats the point of empty overhead bins, and making customers wait for carry-on bags at their destination? 3) No TV. Have to pay to get their media equipment? Have not seen that on any other airline. 4) No snack, not even the token pretzels."

Pros: "The San Francisco based crew and customer service was very welcoming, friendly and accommodating."
Cons: "On the return flight (out of their hub airport!), their online system failed so it didn't capture that we had prepaid both our checked bags nor our seat selection. When we arrived at the ticketing counter they were essentially accusational about the issue. We showed the confirmation page on our cell phone and even logged into our mobile banking app to show them and still had to argue about paying again. On top of that, they acknowledged the system was having issues and would do absolutely nothing to help us get seats together (my husband and I), let alone anywhere near what we had selected during the online check-in process (we paid extra for an aisle and middle towards the front of the plane, and they gave us two middle seats in the back of the cabin). There were four empty seats in first class, and they wouldn't even bump up a frequent flyer to give us seats together in coach. Not once did anyone apologize, ask how they could help, or just try to be helpful. Both "managers" were clearly poorly trained in handling these situations and defensive and dismissive (walking away while we were speaking). They didn't even offer a free meal voucher. Nothing was done to help rectify the situation. It was honestly shocking how terrible of an experience it was - no indication that they felt we were a paying customer. There were so many little things they could have done even without changing our seats that would have made the situation better. I will never fly this airline again, out of principle, and will absolutely share my experience with everyone I know. If someone from Sun Country reads this, the managers' names are Oniekey Brown and Jolynn Carpenter. I would suggest your management chain have a conversation with both of them and highly suggest training."

We were fine with it, but after awhile he said that he found a couple seats together in the emergency exit aisle. It was great! We got on the plane and there were tons of extra seats, the plane was not full and I believe that he was too lazy to look for seats together upon our first request."

I am beyond horrified that this happened...I had know idea sun country airlines crew would steal while working for the airline. Sun country needs to be able to remedy this situation, otherwise I will have to ban the airline for future traveling as well as spread the word to those I know that you can get stolen from employees of sun country while traveling. Cons: "Website - wouldn't allow me to check in, difficulty with mobile site, frustrating repeated issues with seating choices and online check in. Seat assignment - only pre- releasing and then having airline assign certain number of seats is a ridiculous system that results in people being uncomfortable and lacking any ability to exert preferences for certain seating conditions. This is like a process for the 1960s airline, especially combined with the dysfunctional website."

Cons: "You won't actually get to your destination. When you choose to fly Sun Country you'll think you saved $50 by not flying delta or American or whoever. When you get to airport prepare to fork over that extra cash because more than likely you'll have to switch airlines. switch ? Why ? Inevitably flights get delayed a little bit and when you get delayed and have a connection to make you'll be royally screwed. The next connecting flight won't be for another 12hours because this airline is the butthole of airlines and always flies like four planes total."

Cons: "The flight from SFO to MSP was delayed due to weather. The ticket agent told me that I would miss the connection to Miami, but that they would put me on another flight that day. When I arrived at MSP, I discovered that I was the only passenger to MIA who had not been re-routed and that the next flight on Sun Country to Miami was four days later. The gate agent at MSP sat me aside while all other passengers who missed connections to other destinations were re-ticketed. After that process, the gate agent made several calls and eventually, refunded my fare on Sun Country. At that point, the only other direct flight from MSP on any airline (and the only other flight that would arrive at MIA at a reasonable hour) was leaving in approximately one hour. I was able to purchase the last seat on that Delta flight for about double the amount of my Sun Country ticket. I then had to go find my bag that was checked to MIA, change terminals, purchase the ticket, negotiate my way through security and run to the gate to barely make the flight. This was my first flight on Sun Country and probably my last. The incompetence of the SFO ticket agent caused a significant disruption to my travel experience and resulted in a significant financial penalty for me because of the ticket price differential between my original Sun Country fare and the last minute Delta purchase. I have been flying for many years and this was, by far, my worst flight experience ever."

No free food, not even chips or anything. No TVs. I was on a 5 hour flight with no in-flight entertainment."

I decided to look up the airline on Yelp to see what kind of experience to expect, and found that I may have to deal with delays and rude customer service. I was glad that neither of those turned out to be true. Flight boarded and left right on time, despite being toward the end of the day, and everyone was perfectly courteous."
