Cons: "After all these connecting flights especially after being delayed in Cali, the flight in Bogota was delayed and the Avianca crew did not announce it. After realizing it was time for boarding according to the time that I needed to be at the gate from my ticket, that's when people were realizing there was an issue. Once I got to the podium and handed my tickets the staff handed a voucher. There wasn't a hello, we're sorry for the inconvenience or the reason why the flight was delayed 2 hours. I had to ask them why what happened, what is the voucher for, how does it work, what time we were expected to be at the gate. The staff made everyone aware that we needed to be at the gate at 4pm so we can depart at 445pm. The food was okay and the staff looked a little annoyed when serving drinks. I shouldn't say all of the crew but from the back half of the plane the staff looked annoyed if not bothered. Didn't get to NYC until 12am, but had to wait on the runway for an additional 20 minutes. Again no communication on what was going on."

The other option was I needed to go to the airport to change it and pay supplement. Luckily it was only a 30min taxi ride from my hotel. The desk staff could see the issue and resolved the problem within 20mins - extremely helpful. A shame this could not be sorted in UK by phone and email"

I liked the timeliness of the departure and arrival, and the crew were good. The turbulence was rough, though.

The entertainment unit not work. It kept freezing up, the map kept moving around to other parts of the globe, so,e functions didn't operate at all. Finally less than halfway through the flight the unit froze up all together and was completely unusable. Also, the seat wasn't able to recline as the button on the seat was completely missing!

There were approx 20 in line yet only 2 gate agents at 4:30pm. One of the gate agents kept helping the Premium members and bypassing the standard line. The other agent was in a coma as his average person at counter was 10 min. Finally get to counter and they hand me a boarding pass going via Salt Lake in 30 minutes. But has a 3 hrs layover in SL. I then get to US Custom check for US residents re-entering and the line was a good 30 minute wait. You would think the Delta folks would have accounted for that line. I had to ask everyone in front of them if I could skip in front as the plane was now departing in 10 min. I had to then run on a bum knee and was the last to board. The agent at gate was saying we were calling your name but did they think I could have been stuck in customs? On that short of a window they should have walked me through Customs to make sure I got on a flight they wanted me to take versus my scheduled flight."

I kept the window at the darkest setting, and, even so, the window was so hot you could not hold your hand on it for more than a few seconds without it burning. The heat radiated so far out from the window that I needed to keep the air vent open totolerate it. Usually, when one sits in a window seat, they have the luxury of leaning against it with their pillow as they rest. The heat made this very uncomfortable, and for me, impossible. In fact, at a certain point, a stewardess came to the row ahead of me and excused herself with those passengers saying that she wanted to check the window of that row as the person sitting there was wondering is there was a malfunction in the window because it was burning hot. I spoke up and told the stewardess that the window was unbearably hot and to try to hold her hand on it. She responded, "Wow! That really IS the hot!" She said she'd check up front. She came back saying the pilot said it was because we are on the side of the plane facing the sun. We were on that side for 8 hours!! I find it hard to believe these windows weren't researched more thoroughly under all conditions, including the continual beating of the particular seasonal angle of the sun for long overseas flights! Please take this response seriously, as it truly was incredibly uncomfortable."

At one point when offering drinks down the aisles, the 2 attendants even commented that they were going to beat the other cart down the aisle this time. Furthermore, there was a blind man near us across the aisle. I couldn't see much of what was going on, but the woman next to me seemed rather distraught that so little help was offered to him. When food was served, he couldn't find his cutlery and ate with his hands. When he needed to use the bathroom, he pressed the button for assistance but no one came. Others stepped in to help. When asked if someone would help the man at the gate, an attendant rather condescendingly answered that of course, every handicapped guest will be assisted through the airport. The flight primarily consisted of Peruvians. I can only hope this poor service was a reflection of all of Air Canada, and not what the people of Peru receive regularly. It was as if the attendants were trying to discipline. There were no niceties. Perhaps the language barrier was too much."

This caused the ENTIRE flight to basically have to check in again and show documentation. I was also asked rather rudely from one of the ground crew "if I had ever traveled before". I will never fly United again...rude, disorganized, horrible inflight service."

Pros: "The service from Denver to Kalispell was fantastic. The flight left on time and the flight attendant was not only kind and professional she went out of her way to make sure each passenger got personal attention. I fly very regularly and this was one of the top 3 experiences I have ever had. I will definitely fly United again and hope to be lucky enough to have Linda as my flight attendant."

Cons: "The TVs didn't work. The one in my seat did not work so I used the adjacent seat's TV. It shut down on me mid movie several times and I would have to wait for it to reboot. It was extremely irritating and I couldn't even finish one of my movies because it kept shutting down."

I had to go back four rows and really shove my bag into a bin--and my bag isn't ovesized. After leaving the gate, we sat on the tarmac for 45 minutes because there was some kind of incident in the back of the plane. Some of the crew headed to the back of the plane wearing latex gloves and later a passenger went into a lavatory to change his pants. I think someone threw up on the poor guy. What I didn't like was no one telling us why we weren't taking off, and no apology when we did! Later in the flight, I was asleep when the crew went up the aisle with a food cart and pinched my foot!"

Pros: "It was the worst trip I have ever taken. Delayed 2 hours due to air traffic control problems, then they landed us in Baltimore and decided we were gonna take buses to Newark. They put us back on the plane and drove around the runway for 2 more hours until I finally had a panic attack. I got off. Then they pulled everyone off and 3 busses took us to NJ, arrival at 4 a.m....HORRIBLE crew had timed out, horrible stewards served up water in cups and were yelling at people to sit saying we were NOT getting off the plane."

The agent should treat us with respect you should have gave me a better information and just throw me away then going back to him several times for the correct solution..."
