Subject: Complaint Regarding Cabin Temperature on Flight SQ447 (DAC–SIN)** Dear Singapore Airlines Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent experience on flight SQ447 from Dhaka (DAC) to Singapore (SIN). After boarding, it became apparent that the cabin air conditioning was not functioning adequately. When we initially raised the concern, a flight attendant informed us that it would take approximately 10 minutes for the temperature to cool down once the aircraft began operating. We trusted this explanation; however, the cabin remained uncomfortably warm, and many passengers—including my family—were sweating for an extended period. After approximately 45 minutes, I raised the issue again. While the attendant mentioned that adjustments had been made, the response did not reflect the seriousness of the ongoing discomfort. It was only after about an hour into the flight that the temperature finally improved and the cabin became more comfortable. I also spoke with several other passengers seated nearby, and they confirmed they were experiencing the same issue. As a frequent traveler who has always associated Singapore Airlines with high standards of service, this experience was very disappointing. It has made me reconsider choosing this route with your airline in the future. I hope you will review this incident and take the necessary steps to ensure that such situations are handled more promptly and professionally going forward. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Mohammed Shahriar
It was okay. I feel that Singapore Airlines isn't as good as it used to be but it's still not bad
No frills airline with minimal leg room and no entertainment
SQ service is great as always. However, the food quality seems to have gotten a lot worse recently.
The seat in economy class and legroom in Singapore airline are narrower than Korean airlines! I don’t have that comforting feeling flying with Singapore air as in the past!
They close their counter so early. I had internet issues so I couldn’t check In online . I would have made the flight but their counter was closed 5 minutes before we arrived. No way of contacting them even though I had the confirmation number and tried to check in the night before on someone else’s phone. I tried calling their customer service with no pick up. Horrible experience, I’m very unhappy with them. I hope to never fly with them ever again. It costed me almost $900.
The stewardess was very helpful all the way. My seat had an issue with headphones and after the replaced and gave me a new pair and noticed it was the seat I got a new chair to sit and a great ride back home
Airport lounge for business class is too crowded and not comfortable. Poor foods and facilities. Boarding was delayed. A lot of coughing people in the flight even in the business class, which indicated poor screening and health risks.
Seamless fussy free flight. Great service as expected of SIA.
I was very impressed with this airline. The plane was clean. The attendance were nice and it was a great comfortable experience. The zipper on my suitcase broke after I checked it, and they wrapped it all Thailand plastic wrap to prevent it from coming apart during the flight. When I got to Los Angeles, all of my items were safe and still in the bag. That is above and beyond!
Excellent airline. Seats were very comfortable with lots of legroom. In flight service was excellent as well
We were pleased with the flight experience. Nothing to complain or shout about. Unfortunately the rating scale in this survey will skew the results and give a false impression of what really happened. For example, we didn’t use the entertainment system yet we are forced to reply. A far more insightful scale would include “not applicable.”
We flew business class this time. The food in their economy class is much better in general. Also only coffee, tea and orange juice is free. Beer can be bought only. Same as economy, so their business class service is poor.
Nice flight, stress-free but why bother serving a meal on a 55 minute flight. From what I saw there was a lot of waste because travellers weren't interesting in eating on this short trip. Get rid of the meal and cut the price.
Efficient, comfortable and clean-very good flight with friendly staff and crew
On a 45 mins flight to Koh Samui from Bangkok we were served delicious shrimp pad thai and hot tea. The flight crew did an awesome job serving a full flight.
Seats are tight and leg room so small. We had deep impressions under kneecap from the seat in front. A sign that Bangkok Airways is fully aware how small it is built is the cutout in the table. Very uncomfortable for people in size 1.80 m or more.
This is my 2nd flight with this airline. Service is very good. I was surprised they served a meal on such a short flight. The airplane landed so smooth that most people were unaware the plane had just landed. About half of the people on board applauded.
The staff were helpful and very pleasant. The food is tasty and there’s plenty of water provided. Flights are well air conditioned.
The food was inedible- The rice was hard as a rock The chicken was hard and could not chew Horrible meal. Don’t even serve it. It was an insult to think that you would have even served it.
They wouldn't let me on the plane. The 3rd party apparently didn't pay for the tickets properly?
We are row 11, when the crew came to us, only one meal choice was available.
Comfortable seats in economy, managed a few hours sleep in an o night flight but the food was terrible. Surprising as Malaysia airlines has been good in the past. Service was mediocre this time too.
Jia yung was the flight attendant that made this a miserable flight.
The IFE is quite unconvenient if using our own device. Not all passenger brought their own earphone/headphone.
Delayed, not enough information. Had to ask for refreshments, crew could have been more proactive
No recognition for one World Emerald member. Business class seat has flat bed
Legs space in the business class cabin is too small and pillow is dirty!
Elderly individual shud be given priority to board the plane together with passengers with children and disabled. Otherwise things are OK.
I had purchased extra leg room for all legs of the flight but due to a delay in leaving Perth I was put on another flight but with Emirates. My luggage was initially lost but later found and my suitcase was broken. I ended up losing my upgrades
3 hours delay ,we changed plane after boarding and waiting inside
Forthright communication to the customers regarding services offered and any fees involved.
Scoot is a no frills budget airline. Do not expect a legacy airline experience.
Boarding took forever. It's also weird that we paid more (for preferred seats) to get on the plane last. Inflight WiFi never worked the entire trip. I want my money back.
WiFi didn’t work on both sectors so made killing time harder - planes clean modern and good flight crew - would do again if WiFi works
We flew on the 787 Dreamliner direct to main gate at KLIA2, quick entry via eGate and on the train 41mins after touchdown. Go well SCOOT
We were delayed, but there was never any update given. Everyone was standing at the gate as boarding was supposed to commence at 13:10 for a 13:55 flight. We didn't actually start getting on the shuttles to the plane, until after 14:00. No updates, no information given at all.
It was a cheaper flight and it arrived early. I thought the crew were pretty noisy for an overnight flight, and my friend was not able to sleep because of the noise. Also I think it’s absurd they don’t provide complementary water. Why does everything have to be a surcharge? Airplanes are dehydrating and it would be beneficial to help passengers stay healthy.
U could offer everyone a drink ,juice or water.. coffe or tea ...ur air craft isn't a flea market ,where someone has to buy a tea or water!!
Extra luggage after you purchase 1 is gonna jacked u up to 800sgd which is so up to the hook... you could buy 3 round trips ticket on that price.. im so disappointed.. im not gonna choose this airline anymore.. horrible experience...
