Our aircraft arrived late into Tokyo from Vancouver, so departure was delayed slightly for cabin cleaning and preparation. After boarding the full flight, we experienced an additional delay due to de-icing, which was an unexpected but necessary step. The pilot advised that the first two hours would likely include light to moderate turbulence, which proved accurate. As a result, cabin service was understandably delayed. This isn’t a complaint — simply a summary of the circumstances. Once we passed through the rough patch, the remainder of the flight was smooth, our pre ordered vegan meals were good and we arrived in YVR close to the expected time. Kudos to the crew for working professionally and diligently throughout the situation. Will fly again long haul with Air Canada.

As we were boarding the plane, there was an unknown substance on my seat. We requested that the cabin crew clean the substance off of the seat, but a member by the name of "Julia" asked us, "Why should I clean this mess up?". She then proceeded to ignore us for the duration of the flight, even asking one of her colleagues to serve us during the meal service instead.

Excellent. I could change my flight and cone back a day earlier. Everything was great thanks 😊

Good experience. I like the precise information about boarding and baggage by mail and texts

Air Canada cancelled our flight and reschedule it 26 hours later that completely interrupted my family's long waited Japan trip, it wasn't due to natural reason such as weather but under the company's control. On the day we wasted 9 hours of our time from 6am to 3pm, including a few hours in the customer counter waiting for supervisor to handle our rescheduling. When we came to the counter for rebooking help there were at least 4 employees on the counter but we were told they were not trained to handle customer rebooking, we were also told the supervisor could come 10:30 to handle our rebooking, but she showed up more than one hour later, the end result was exactly the same so the few hours we spent waiting for her was completely wasted; We already prepaid hotel and all the tickets for the our stay in Tokyo so all of the cost for the first day is completed wasted; The $80 meal voucher issues was far less than our financial loss due to the financial cancellation, and it was not surprisingly invalid (as Your company screw up everything possible along the flight), the vouchers were supposed to last 72 hours, when we tried to used it at our lounge next day less than 24 hours from its issuing at a designated restaurant, the worker there couldn't scan the vouchers after multiple tries on all 4 vouchers issued, so we had to pay the food from our own money; For the two return flights they were also full of unfortunate events that caused bad experience and further delay and waste of our time, both flights departed late and the last leg had another significant delay of more than half an hour after touchdown, the gate was for some reason not available so we waited more than half an hour, when we got out of plane it was almost one hour later than the supposed arrival time; The gate you arranged is the farthest in Vancouver airport, also was the luggage pickup location in Seattle airport; We also called customer service for rescheduling help and after a long time wait (more than an hour) we got a call back but the CS representative was equally clueless and unhelpful. Other than a fatal crash, your company couldn't do anything right and provided the worst service possible among the tons of flights we have taken in our lives.

I wish someone would wake me up so I could eat the free food :( slept for 90mins on a 10hr flight and I missed breakfast. I’m sad about that lol.

Flight and flight crew were great. Better than most US airlines. Check-in was awful. They repeatedly wouldn't assign seats on the Air Canada flight or print boarding passes for all legs. This was really frustrating. Checked in the day before each direction but they put us on Standby while they juggled seats to upgrade others. This made it really difficult to get seats next to each other which is important when you have 10+ hour flights. Then they would only print boarding passes for their leg even though everything was booked through them. This made Customs in Canada difficult as they required boarding passes for the next flight each way to get through security. Couldn't get them on the phone and slowed everything down and security had to make exceptions for me to print boarding passes as security.

We flew from Sacramento to Vancouver for connecting flight to Tokyo. The starting flight used an old plane without entertainment. The Tokyo flight used a new plane with good entertainment. Food was excessive and not that good.

Most crew members were great but there was one each of flights that were kinda rude. Other than than everything was great.

Great. As a tall person the seats are quite cramped.
